Author's Review
I was looking for a quick and inexpensive solution to hems and small craft projects around the house. I have very little sewing experience and thought this would be my solution.
I was wrong!! The instruction manual stinks there are some dark b&w photos and unclear instructions.
I was attempting a small craft project (putting a hem on fleece), and approx every 3-6 inches the machine would jam, the thread would break, the bobbin would fall off the machine, and I even managed to bend the needle (I was sewing some pretty thin fleece)!!!
I tried everything I could think of (changing thread, adjusting tension, which is a joke all together, I even thought about throwing it against the wall), I even engaged the help of my mother in law who is a very experienced sewer, only to have her demonstrate expletives I have never heard before!!
Overall I am frustrated and disappointed, the project looks like crap and I am out the money I paid for it.
Don't buy it, and if you did, use it as a paperweight instead.
