I'd buy one if I had a pool.

Author's Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Larger throat than the 180 and 380, Gear driven like the 180, larger bag...

Cons: May need to install ladder guards so it won't get stuck behind ladders.

Bottom Line:
Get the 280 over the 380, you will save money and be happier with the performance and reliability. Read More

Finally! Something that really works.

Author's Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: works as advertised. There is a reason the Polaris is the most popular pool cleaner.

Cons: Might not be the easiest to install for most folks.

Bottom Line:
You'll never look back. Throw away those stupid vacuum hoses and awkward poles. Read More

Enjoy the pool again

Author's Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Enjoy your pool again! Pools are for swimming - not cleaning!

Cons: Installation may not be a DIY job. This is true with most pool cleaners though.

Bottom Line:
Simply the best you can buy - no matter the price. Read More

Beats manual cleaning

Author's Rating: 4/5 stars

Pros: Effective at big items

Cons: separate pump must be turned on and off without timer, poor job on sand

Bottom Line:
Very good at removing debris. Not so good at removing sand. Overall, worth the money to save manual cleaning time. Read More

Great cleaner - much better than most any other brand (or the Polaris 380)

Author's Rating: 4/5 stars

Pros: Great for picking up leaves, grass, sand, toys etc. Reliable.

Cons: Can get tangled in ladders if you don't use an in-line back-up valve.

Bottom Line:
Best on the market - far better than the Polaris 380. Read More
