This is the super Easy Bake Oven of all time. Well it's better than that sounds. This Toast cooks with light. It's the same technology that GE uses in its more commercial products for built in appliances.

You make toast with three long, slim light bulbs. And these things produce light. Put your toast into the oven. Turn it on, and prepare to be awakened in a multi-watt brightness that lights up the entire kitchen.

This is not an oven. It won't do rolls. You can't cook hot dogs in it. Or broil bacon. Remember you're cooking with light. Those light bulbs may be heavy duty, but they're still light bulbs.

But it does toast.

Boy does it do toast.

I bought this because my old toaster oven died over a year ago. I've tried two since. Niether one produced really decent toast. They broil brats and melt cheese, but toast just doesn't come out right.

With this I put in bread. Touch the toast button, and in 3-5 minutes (depending on darkness) I've got toast. Crunchy outside toast. Toast that melts butter. Toast that is close to uniform.

You can do other things. It even has a setting for hash browns. And it makes wonderful onion rings. Toaster strudels are what they should be.

There's pleanty of room. Four pieces of toast. Easy English Muffin or bagel. A tray for fries, or a small pizza. Warm up just about anything. Quick. Quiet. Interesting.
