Curve was introduced by Liz Claiborne in September of 1996. I was in college, and my best friend, Dionne25, raved about her favorite perfume: Curve for women. Well, for one reason or another, I got into the habit of buying my male friends and boyfriends cologne.

I always went with what I thought matched their personalities... The debonaire rich kid received Polo, my All-American Army boyfriend got Tommy... You get the idea.

When I was dating this guy, he gave me Pleasures as a gift, as you can read in the review I wrote right before this one. For Valentine's Day, I didn't know what to get him. So, I consulted Dionne. She absolutely raved about Curve for men, so I decided to give it a try.

Boy, was she right.

Curve is a crisp, clean cologne that really matches the outdoors type of guy. The guy I was dating was a very outdoors type of guy, although he didn't look all that rugged. When I smelled this cologne, visions of him sprung into my head.

Curve for men is a blend of lavendar, Douglas fir, green leaf, bergamot and vetiver. I think you can smell the green leaf the most, which makes it so refreshing and clean. Many people have noticed a bit of a citrus smell, which doesn't really jump out at me. This is definitely a cologne for an active, outdoors man.

You can find Curve at any department store, including Macy*s and JC Penney. However, I've only seen it for about $35. I saw it at the Liz Claiborne Outlet Store for $29.99. If you can order it online for less, definitely do so.

Curve is also sold in a terrific gift set. I bought him the gift set that included deoderant, shower gel, after shave and the cologne. It was only $45 from the Liz Claiborne Outlet Store. however with all of those items, it was well worth it.

If you're looking for a cologne for an active man, Curve is definitely the way to go. It makes an excellent gift, and Valentine's Day is coming up soon!
