With the GL2, Canon has produced the most accessible prosumer camcorder on the market. A fluorite lens capable of 20X optical zoom gives you broadcast quality imagery. Every option a videographer would expect in a camcorder is built into the GL2 including manual white balance and aperture adjustment, manual focus, and an entire spread of professional inputs and outputs. With a variety of accessories available for the GL2 such as shotgun microphones and camera lights you’ll be hard pressed to find a video shoot the GL2 can’t tackle.
