Pros: Easy-to-learn menus and settings; quiet operation; capable of recording up to 60 minutes of video
Cons: Sorta' slow regen time between flash shots
Bottom Line: For the price, this is a very good choice that will serve well, and won't overwhelm, a snapshot-happy soccer mom, and won't disappoint a fairly knowledgeable photographer

Pros: Many great features in a small digital camera you can take anywhere. Highly recommended!
Cons: Recovery time between photos (especially with flash) can get annoying.

Cons: ISO 1600 poor, Camera Windows software worsened, no wireless file transfer

Cons: Flash recycle speed slightly slow, flash output in dimly lit rooms is weak.
Bottom Line: The Canon A720IS is for the serious photographer, the novice experimenting in taking artistic photos, or for fans of pointing & shooting; It has several options to accommodate everyone.
