Author's Review
I am a huge sufferer of allergies! And its not just certain times of the year as with most people, its pretty much all year. Dust, mold, some perfumes, dirt and other nice little things in life that make the head go round and round.
I take several different brands of allergy medications or sinus medications. Depending on if I have an allergy attack or an allergy cold attack. There is a difference between the two. And you need to get the correct medication for the correct symptoms.
For instance, if you are just suffering from sneezing and itchy eyes and throat then get a medication just for those symptoms. But if you are suffering from congestions, cough, sore throat as well as the others mentioned then you would need to get something for those. I suffer from all of the above at various times through out the year and because of that I have to take different medications. And that is a real drag. There are a few medications that will help with most if not all the symptoms of an allergy sufferer, but sometimes that current attack will go into cold. And so starts the medication search again for a cold medication. (But I will discuss a great cold medication in another review.)
Today I am going to talk about a medication I tried a few weeks back and have been pleased with it. I had wanted something that would help to control the watery eyes and itchy throat. There is nothing worse, except a toothache maybe that is worse than an itchy throat. Itchy throats will cause you to cough and cough and then before you know it you have a runny nose and more water in the eyes and you look like you are the saddest person in the world! And I had to have a medication that would not clash with the medications I take prescribed by my doctor.
Well I found that medication in Benadryl® Dye-Free Allergy.
The Product
Benadryl® Dye-Free Allergy Liqui-Gels® for allergy relief of sneezing, itchy, watery eyes, runny nose and itchy throat! Made by Parke-Davis®. With Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride Antihistamine.
Soft gels provide a rapid relief of allergy symptoms. The pills are very easy to swallow and they offer Benadryls strong relief without any unwanted dyes or added colors. I like that part a lot!
Clear allergy relief from the Histamine Blocker, Benadryl. And doctors recommend Benadryl more often than any other medication.
I have to say here that not only is Benadryl used for over the counter medication it is also used in larger doses within the medical field. Once I had an allergic reaction to a medication that nearly killed me, had it not been for Benadryl® being available I would have died! So I know first hand that Benadryl® works for allergies and allergic reactions!
The box is white with navy blue writing on it. The package I have contains 24 clear liqui-gels softgels. The cost at my local Wal-Mart is 4.96.

How I Feel
Better! Thats for sure. I have seen this product for a long time sitting on shelves in stores and have never bought it for myself but for my children only. So my teenager told me to try it for myself because she takes it and works for her.
I have to be very careful with what I take because of the medications I am on for the Fybromyalgia that I have and since that is 100% of my body it has the tendency to not like it when other parts of my body ache. Seriously, that sounds silly I know, but doctors have discovered this to be very true. Fybromyalgia has to be the controlling disease and simply will not allow a cold, flu, headache, arthritis pain, viruss, allergy or other medical problems that may occur within ones body to take over ones body. And so when allergies or a cold acts up with me the Fybromyalgia goes into full force, which causes me more pain and problems! And in that, my doctor has me on different medications to see which will work for me, thus for making my over the counter medications now limited. There are days I cant even write or type! So the bed is where I stay! Poor hubby cant seem to understand that my staying in bed does not include him! Lol!
But with this Benadryl® Dye-Free Allergy medication I am getting some relief and most of the time complete relief while on other prescribe medications. And this is good for me because I can live a somewhat normal life sometimes now.
For people who dont or who do have other medical problems I certainly suggest that you try this product. But check with your doctor first. You really always want to make sure that drugs will not clash within your body and make you sicker or kill ya.
Overall I have been very pleased with Benadryl® Dye-Free Allergy over the counter medication.
I hope that this has helped in some kind of way.
God Bless!
