Pros: 4.4 is noticeably faster than 3.0; reclining rear seats are useful for baby seat set-up.
Cons: The V-8 is a gas guzzler!
Bottom Line:
The 2003 4.4 X5 is, so far, much more sound and stable than its older sibling, a 2001 3.0. Don't buy the electronically unreliable first-year model (2001) of the X5. Read More

A must have if you want an SUV and are willing to exchange traditional cargo capacity and off road capability for a solid sports sedan ride. Read More

Pros: Unparralelled German engineering, excellent handling, sporty, agile and very comfortable
Cons: Perhaps a little pricier than the others (though justafiably so, & not by much)
Bottom Line:
Easily 4.5 stars, deduct half a star just because I couldn't afford the 4.6 V8! THe vehicle is incredible and absolutely must be driven to understand! Bravo BMW Read More
