Part INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE, part 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA, ATLANTIS: THE LOST EMPIRE marries mythology, cool futuristic underwater space crafts, and turn-of-the-century adventure for an animated treat. Just When I Thought Disney Had Lost it

Author's Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Great Characters that show some depth

Cons: Use of Guns, No fish in the sea

Bottom Line:
A worthwhile family movie in the style of a true Disney adventure movie. Think Swiss Family Robinson. It is not the Musical animated film that Disney is famous for. Read More

Disney's Baacckkkk!

Author's Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Opening scene establishes this is no Pocohantas -- fast, furious and destined to be remembered.

Cons: Too short, wanted more scenes of Atlantean's daily life.

Bottom Line:
We've adopted Atlantean tatoos and weapons, role-playing our way through "what happened next." It's tapped into our subconscious and fostered amazing creative play. Excellent return for the investment! Read More
