The VTech vt2420 handset is designed for use with the vt2431 2.4 GHz cordless phone system, which can support up to four handsets. This handset, which is identical to the one that comes with the vt2431, with its own plug-in charger base and has a 4-line LCD screen to display Call Waiting Caller ID data and provide access to the menus for both the phone and the system. The handset also has a built-in speakerphone.
