The 2003 Chevy Tracker is a compact sport-utility vehicle that packs a big punch in a small frame. Though it has sporty styling and a zippy attitude, one need only remember that the 2003 Chevy Tracker is part of the same family as the Suburban and Tahoe. In other words, the Tracker is every bit a Chevy Truck, and with that in mind, customers should know what to expect. The 2003 Chevy Tracker offers a good value and a dependable ride, and it is presented in a number of different configurations to satisfy customer needs. Minimize

Tracking through the Snow in a great Chevy SUV.

Author's Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Fuel Economy, 4x4 traction, reliability

Cons: Base Tires, no AWD offered.

Bottom Line:
The Tracker gets better fuel economy than our 4 cylinder Ford. The Tracker offers the safety of 4 wheel drive and comes loaded for only $16,800. Read More

Dull Car with Automatic Transmission

Author's Rating: 4/5 stars

Pros: Many features build for off road. Stiff and strong chassis.

Cons: Gas mileage not as good as advertised. Auto transmission makes for dull driving.

Bottom Line:
Would be a fun car if it was a manual transmission. Auto transmission is ok for transportation only. Slow and dull to drive. Trouble free for 50k. Read More

I probably wouldn't buy another...

Author's Rating: 4/5 stars

Pros: cute, sporty vehicle that is easy to drive with decent gas mileage

Cons: uncomfortable seats, not much room, vibration at high speeds

Bottom Line:
I would recommend the Chevrolet Tracker. Overall, it is a dependable vehicle. I just would not recommend it for families or for long trips. Read More

Great Little SUV.....I love it....

Author's Rating: 4/5 stars

Pros: Fun to drive, fairly economical, decent off road capability, reliable..so far

Cons: Rear door opens wide, hinged on wrong side. Wind noise, seats for long trips

Bottom Line:
Great for those with smaller families, Good off road, not a cross country driver, decent mileage, reliable. I'd buy another in a heart beat. Read More

Like a toy, my Tracker convertible is fun and probably a keeper

Author's Rating: 4/5 stars

Pros: Good gas mileage, fun, practical SUV that will be the envy of your staid friends.

Cons: Noisy, subject to wind, ergonomically impaired...i.e. somewhat uncomfortable.

Bottom Line:
If you are looking for a fun but practical little SUV, this is one to enjoy for a time. I believe I will outgrow it, but for now it's great! Read More

The Little Truck That Could?

Author's Rating: 3/5 stars

Pros: fun to drive, inexpensive, solid, body-on-frame chassis, this IS a truck, not a car.

Cons: confined, seems outclassed by other small SUV's.
