I bought a present for my girlfriend (40$ including transportation) which should be sent to my girlfriend and delivered one day before christmas. I payed with my credit card.

It just did'nt arrive there and I did not hear anything from them. I contacted them about one month later and they told me it couldn't be shipped as they didn't have the item in stock any more.

Furthermore I will get cash back plus a gift coupon and I should wait about one month. After waiting another month I contacted them and they told me the same again so I ended up with no delivered item and a loss of 40$.

I ordered a floral arrangement for my god son being born to my best friend and her husband. IT NEVER GOT DELIVERED. The bouquet I chose was $75 and said was available for the SAME day delivery, when I called to find out where the bouquet was, the representative told me that the arrangement I chose wasn't available, which was NOT what the site told me. The representative also told me that someone (either me or the recipient) was called, a voicemail was left, and an email was sent (to me) stating that the arrangement wasn't available, which I NEVER RECEIVED EITHER VOICEMAIL OR EMAIL regarding my purchased arrangement. Then, I asked to speak with a manager because the representative wasn't helping me, she just continued to repeat herself. She transfered me, but NOT TO A MANAGER, I went back into the original calling queue I was in when I FIRST called their customer service number. They had me on hold for 30+ minutes to "try" to resolve an issue. DON'T BUY FLOWERS FROM THIS DELIVERY SERVICE.

Absolutely awful! I ordered flowers for my grandma 2 weeks prior to Mother's Day that were to be delivered on Saturday. It is Tuesday night and they still have not arrived! I have called numerous times to find out the status and have been promised each night that they would be delivered the following morning. They offered me a $25 gift certificate for my next purchase to make up for the inconvenience... as if I will ever order from them again! I would never EVER recommend anyone to use this company. For a $35 delivery fee, I would expect it to arrive on time! Do yourself a favor and find a new company!!!!!

1-800 Flowers was aweful, rude, and they only care abou the money!


My mother is in her 70's and I wanted to send flowers, since I only have so many of these opportunities left.  I spoke to her early Sunday (Mothers day), but didn't mention the flowers, since I wanted it to be a surprise.  On Tuesday morning I asked her about the flowers, and she said she never received any.  I called 1-800 flowers and I wasted another 20 minutes on top of the 15-20 minutes spent ordering.  They didn't appear to want to give my money back, but wanted to go ahead and send the flowers out.  Also, if I had not called they would have just kept the money.  I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS with 1-800 flowers AGAIN!!!  They don't deserve to be in business!

My daughter saved her money, placed the order on her own 05/08/12 & I never received her gift 05/11/12. She called to check status on Friday & was told I had to stay at work til 7:00pm.  I get off work at 5:00. At time of order, she informed them it was being delivered to a place of business and needed by 5. She was never told it could take up til 7pm to be received.  But I waited til 7:10pm because she was told it was on its way & she wanted to make sure I received my Mothers Day gift, but I waited for nothing. Tracking shows that the gift was never even shipped.  I will be placing complaints wherever I can find to share this experience.

WRONG ARRANGEMENTS DELIVERED TO 2 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS.
THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CELEBRATION. AFTER PROMISING RE-DELIVERY FOR DAYS (3) , I RECEIVED A REFUND . THIS DID NOT HELP MY ANNIVERSARY OR MY MOTHERS...MOTHERS DAY.

Very unprofessional! I trusted them to deliver flowers to my mother on Mother's Day. I din't recieve any communication, so I called them to ask what was going on with my order? They said that florist didn't confirm the order. Why are they even sitting there if they are not following up on the status of their customers orders???NOT RELIABLE! Very dissapointed! I wish I would just find local florist like last year.

I ordered flowers for my mother on the morning of Friday, May 11th 2012. According to 1800Flowers.com, they have flower arrangements that can be delivered same day. I called 1800flowers and they confirmed that the arrangement that I chose would be delivered on Friday. They called my back hours later saying there was high volume, and they would not be able to deliver it until Saturday. I said this was okay, since Mother's Day is Sunday. They never delivered the flowers. Nor, did they call anyone or email anyone to let them know that they are going to fail. When I called 1800Flowers on Sunday, I was transferred between two service reps. They both offer a $20 reimbursement and to deliver the flowers on Tuesday. I decline and asked to talk to a Manager. Both of the service reps told me that the manager wasn't in the office. I guess 1800flowers doesn't hold their managers to normal standards. I will never us 1800Flowers again.

Ordered some flowers and some cake for my mother for mother's day. I paid a lot extra for Saturday delivery of perishables. The cake was delivered; it was left in front of the front door of a huge apartment building for an hour, rather than finding the residence. The flowers were never sent at all. They split into two separate UPS shipments, which makes no sense -- cost me more money and it wastes fuel and time.

I called the company and had trouble understanding their "sales associate". I called back and managed to get a promise of a refund for the never-delivered flowers. I was told they expect perishable items are just to be left in front of the door without even a knock, because they don't even bother to label the packages as perishable even though they charge a huge delivery fee for delivering such items. In short: WTF?

AVOID THIS COMPANY!

I placed an order three days before I wanted it to be delivered.  On the day of delivery I called 1-800-FLOWERS to confirm that my order was going to be delivered.  I was put on hold for over a half an hour.  I was told that my order could not be delivered.  And that they could try to deliver it the next day.  I did not receive a call or an email to let me know that my order could not be fulfilled.  Then I was transfered a few times and hung up on when trying to speak to customer service.  I will NEVER use 1-800-FLOWERS again.

When I placed an order with 1800flowers.com, I accidentally chose the wrong date. Minutes later, when I got the confirmation email, I immediately contacted them to change the delivery date. They refused, saying my order had been processed and there was nothing they could do about it. I asked for my order to be cancelled and my credit card be processed and they again said there was nothing they could do. I ended up getting on ProFlowers.com and had to order flowers from them for the correct date and spent $50 less than my order at 1800flowers.com. On the plus side, my mom will get two flower deliveries. I just cannot fathom how it is impossible for them to change the delivery date, after only a few minutes! Never again!

Pathetic.  Said they had deliverd but hadn't.  Said they would.  Didn't.  Were good at charging but not very good at delivery.  Days past the event I am finding alternate "service" that I can rely on to actually deliver unstead of lying.  I was told they had been signed for the first day but they hadn't processed the order so hadn't attempted.  Didn't second time, either.  
Never again.

Poor customer service. They have promotions that are never honored. Its a trick to get customers to buy into the services. Flower delivery is mediocre. Mileage promotion was never completed; and after 4 contacts, they still would not honor the marketing promotion. Talk about false advertising!

Received promotional code for service charge on 4/12/12 (4 days ago!) and planned to use it today to purchase birthday arrangement to find it has EXPIRED already.  Chat agen could not help me.  Will not use this service going forward.    Will be giving the competition a shot at my business.

We ordered an Easter basket for our daughter to be delivered the Friday before Easter. We paid extra shipping so that it would arrive on time. It did not arrive as promised. We discovered it had been re-scheduled for delivery after Easter. We informed customer service and they informed us that it would arrive after Easter and they would offer a partial refund next month. Rescheduling the delivery of a holiday present for after the holiday without informing the customer is unacceptable. Never again will we do business with this company.

I ordered "Next Day" delivery of flowers for my girlfriend for Valentine's Day. While I was disappointed they did not arrive to her on that day, I figured they'd get there. Well they never did. After I had paid extra for the so-called "Next Day" service, they never arrived. It was embarrassing and not a good situation. I will definitely never be ordering from them again.

I contacted them and after several days went by and several emails i got a reply back, and they did refund my money a few days later, which was good, but the disappointment was much greater. Oh yeah, they said they were going to send me a coupon for a discount, which they never did, and i was not intending on using it anyway, unless it would've been for one of their competitors.

Never again will I spend another penny on this unreliable company.

1800flowers.com is a great way to send a gift to someone you love as long as it's within your budget. I do simpathize with the local florists who can't advertise online and who are doing all the job. But sometimes florists make mistakes - but customers get heated up beacuse you fail to deliver a promise. There's no guarantee but still no matter how things work in this decade you can order flowers with so much ease and joy through the advances in teh technology. As long as everyone is happy things shall be like this for a while. The point is - give flowers to those you love as I have and enjoy the gift of giving. I hope the florists can video the delivery - I wonder if they should add this service?

I was the recipient of flowers from 1800flowers.com for Valentines Day this year.  They were delivered on VDay but the quality of the roses were very poor.  They had brown petals and not in great shape.  The petals began falling off entire flowers the next day.  I feel bad that my boyfriend spent whatever he did to have them delivered guaranteed on Vday. I'm sure it was not cheap given it was Vday.  These were perhaps the worst quality roses I have ever gotten.  The supermarkets around here have better flower quality than this service.  Dont use them ever - you will be wasting your money!!!  He would have gotten better roses at the supermarket.  I will never use them and would not recommend them.  Thanks

VERY FRUSTRATING AND DISAPPOINTING. No delivery for 2 days.   Called customer service, on the phone for 45 minutes, customer service tried to call local florist but was put on hold and then florist hung up.  Late 2/14/12 still no delivery. Returned home to find another message saying they were not going to attempt delivery on 2/14/12 and to call customer service.  Tried calling customer service and again on hold for over 20 minutes, never got through.  Still no delivery.  Very disappointed and angry regarding the time wasted and lack of customer service, poor communication with messages left requesting you to call customer service only to be left on indefinite hold along with recorded messages saying all information is on website, when NO INFORMATION IS ON WEBSITE.  Nearly $100 wasted, still no delivery.

I ordered flowers for Valentine's Day, and paid an additional $5 for prompt delivery, but the flowers never arrived. Calling 1-800-Flowers is a joke. The call volume was so high (probably from all the unhappy people the day after Valentine's Day) that their automated message system told me to call back at another time, and it hung up on me. I couldn't find out which local florist was supposed to fill the order, and the supposed tracking feature on the 1-800-Flowers website doesn't track anything; it just shows you the date and time that you placed your order.

I don't really see the point in using a service like 1-800-Flowers. Here's my advice: just search for local florists in the area of delivery and deal with them directly. Don't pay additional fees to have 1-800-Flowers talk to the florists for you, because then you'll be stuck if there's a problem with the order. Cut out the middleman, who has no customer service, and don't use 1-800-Flowers.
