The building in which this antenna was to be used has cinder block walls and a tin roof, both of which can hamper FM radio reception. I knew this before I made the purchase, but was optomistic anyway. Unfortunately, this antenna could not overcome the cinderblock walls and tin roof, and my reception did not improve. I do not blame Crutchfield for this, because earlier reviews of this antenna warned of the limitations of indoor antennae. I am still a Crutchfield fan and loyal customer of our friends in Charlottesville VA. Thanks.
