I placed my order for Mother's Day on April 25 - plenty of time, I thought, to guarantee an on-time delivery for May 11.  Well, the flowers were never delivered - ruining my gift for my mother - who probably thought I had forgotten!  What a horrible experience - you would think for an $85 order they would get it right.  And all I got for their terrible service was a 20% discount on my order and a 20% coupon for another order (as if I would ever use them again!) that you can find anywhere online!  I absoulutely do not recommend them, nor will I ever use them again!

I ordered flowers for Mother's Day, one of the most special occasions and the flowers.  The flower that my other and grandmother received were awful.  One was not anything near the size I expected and the other the flowers died within two days.   I am led to believe that the urban serrvice for FTD is sub standard and I will not be incined to use them again . THe only things I can say to their credit is that they offered to re-deliver the flowers, but of course you can't make quite make up for messing up someone's intent to honor their mother and grandmother on their special day.

Placing the online order for the flowers was very easy and fast, I received confirmation and was happy. I ordered 6 days in advance for valentines day. The flowers did not show up! I called customer service the next morning and they said they would give me a free upgrade and deliever that day (on the 15th.) The flowers again, NEVER showed up!! A major holiday with plenty of notice and they couldnt get the flowers delivered? I called again and asked for a full refund. Terrible flower buying experience! Also, the customer service, although very friendly, had such harsh accents I barely understood any of them. I would not recommend and will never buy from them again.

My girlfriend received her bouquet and was very disappointed to find the white flowers were completely brown and the roses were dried up and dead.  I called to ask for a new arrangement to be delivered and the customer service agent was extremely rude and basically stated she did not believe me. She told me they would sent the florist to pick up the flowers which was fine as my girlfriend was too embarrassed to have them on her desk anyway, but they never came.  I spent $86.37 on this arrangement and ordered it almost 2 weeks in advance.  The girls at her work are horrified a florist would even send these to her.  It really put a bummer on the sweet day I had planned for my girlfriend.

I wished I had read the reviews before ordering from them. The pictures on their website looked really nice but when I ordered the arrangement didn't even come close to looking as nice as they were on the pictures. Would definitely not order from them again. Also, they will not take requests to deliver at a certain time of the day, so you never know when your flowers will be delivered. I spent over 70 dollars on a $15 bouquet of flowers and and am sorely dissappointed.

I ordered flowers to be delivered on 11/23/12 to my sister-in-law in Oakland, CA from http://www.ftd.com Those flowers were not delivered to their home. On 12/4/12 I called the phone number on the website. The woman I spoke with called the florist who told her that the flowers had been left on the porch. I checked with them again and my sister-in-law verified that the flowers were not found on the porch. I called ftd.com again this morning. The man I spoke with was unable to call the florist because it was not open yet, but he promised me that he would work on this problem personally. I called again 6 hours later and spoke to a woman. She seemed to have no record of my two previous calls. She then called the florist and not surprisingly, they said that the flowers had been delivered.


They may have my money, but I'm telling everyone I know that they are not reliable! Spread the word.

Useless...absolutely useless. I needed to get flowers to my niece for her 13th birthday. I chose Same Day delivery and their web site gave me a list of what was availble. I chose an arrangement and thought I was all set. 4 hours later, after all flowershops in the area were closed, I received an email that my arrangement wasn't availble and to call to chose another arrangement. Of couse by this time it was a moot point, nothing was open. The issue was the vase wasnt available, Now it is Sunday and there is no way to get the flowers to my niece today, so guess I am out of luck. My issue with FTD is why would their website show availability for product that really wasnt availble...I will NEVER use them again..Buyer beware...

Amazing in how one company can lead to such immediate disappointment. I sent flowers after a relative passed away. I chose something on the FTD website, but they sent something with a much more generic vase and the flowers were 1/2 of what was advertised. Then, when I contacted them (even offering to show the pictures I took of the sent product compared to their website offering). I asked for a partial restitution--they  ignored that and e-mailed and said hey if we can do anything, let us know. I e-mailed them back and reminded them that I already had done that--no response.

I highly encourage you to go elsewhere. Shame on this company--a funeral is bad enough, and now I have an even more bitter memory because of FTD.

My husband ordered flowers for a funeral using FTD. When we received our credit card bill we noticed that we had been charged twice for the same order. I immediately called FTD and was told that someone would call me right back. It is 10 days later and I have called twice more....to the answering service....where they take all the particulars again....and I am still waiting to be contacted.

If you are thinking of getting flowers through FTD “DON’T DO IT” I really wish I had read the reviews before I ordered.  They sent half dead flowers and when you contact them they tell you it will be taken care of but you never hear from them again and they blow off any other attempt to contact them.  The 7 day satisfaction guarantee does not even last one minute after the delivery of the flowers.  They are a bunch of liars and have the most pathetic business practice I have ever dealt with.  DO NOT BUY FROM FTD!!!!!!
I could have went dumpster diving behind any REAL florist and made a better display than what was delivered to my wife.

The flowers arranged by the local florist were lovely, but the customer service experience was awful. The checkout process is flawed, allowing customers to apply a promo code while using certain gift cards. I assumed the two were combinable since the checkout confirmation page showed the total that would be charged to my credit card taking the both the gift card and discount into account. What a surprise I got when I saw the amount actually charged to my credit card was $40 greater than the promised total. Two emails to customer service went unanswered. It took two calls to settle it, not entirely to my satisfaction. I will never order from FTD.com again.

I ordered flowers on Oct 10/12 to be delivered the same date - as I didn't get any acknowledgement from the recipient I followed up.  No delivery - nothing; although I received an email of confirmation saying delivery was taking place the same day and my visa would be charged.

True to their word, I was charged the full amount - so I tried email; and numerous phone calls.  The phone # in the email was not in service; when I tried different sites, I was just re-directed to call other phone numbers but no one had record of my reference # or order.

Thankfully I was able to contact Visa and have the charge re-directed back to them.  Hopefully consumers will read these reviews before placing orders with FTD!!

We ordered  the FTD Pick-Me-Up bouquet on two different occasions, and in each case the amount of green foliage added to the bouquet was much greater than the illustration on the ftd website. The number of blossoms was as promised, but way too much green foliage added.

Flowers were never delivered on the scheduled day. Customer service is in Bangladesh. Only apologies but no help. Choose any other florist you can find including Walmart and it will be a plus from this outfit.
The first time this happened to me about 2 years ago I swore off FTD. I fell for a coupon online and tried again with the exact same results. First time, shame on FTD. This time shame on me. Don't be a fool....run don't walk...go somewhere else for your flower needs.

Terrible...Altough selecting and ordering was easy and hassle free, the quality of the boquet that showed up for my wifes birthday was terrible.  Do yourself the favor take the extra time to go to a florist and pick the flowers yourself...or call a local florist.

Will NEVER order from this place again!! I ordered flowers for my fathers funeral which were NEVER delivered and I was never contacted or told that they would not be. I arrived at the service from out of state, to discover the flowers were not there. I called FTD to be told, after being placed on hold for quite a while, that they could not find a florist in the area to do it. I also sent 2 emails to thier customer service and never received a reply to either of them!! So apparently thier customer service is just as bad as the delivery service!! There is no way to make up the fact that flowers never made it to my dads funeral, but I think they could have at least responded to my emails and perhaps offered an apology!! It is now to late for that also I will tell eveyone I know about this and would never, never recommend FTD!!!!

Horrible. FTD sent flowers from a grocery store! I ordered flowers for an out-of-town funeral home visitation.  The arrangement looked beautiful on the website, but when I arrived at the funeral home, the florist had substituted minature roses for the more than 12 roses that should have been in the arrangement.  Instead of being 22 inches high as advertised, the arrangement was only 1 inch above the vase (ie it was flat with no height) and it was the most unattractive and embarrassing arrangement I had ever ordered.  I contacted FTD three times via email to complain.  Each time I was told they were trying to contact the florist and FTD refused to give me the florist's name.  After 3 weeks I contacted the funeral home and they gave me the grocery store's name.  I called the grocery store and they confirmed they had filled the order but denied that FTD had ever tried to contact them.  Don't use FTD online.  The product is inferior and they don't provide any customer service.

DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS TO BE SENT OUT OF TOWN IN A BOX !!!  My Son and Daughter sent me 24 ROSES for MOTHER'S DAY  that were delivered by UPS in a box. They were Rose Buds that were suppose to open in 3 to 4 days, they never opened, just DIED. UPS was not willing rectify the problem by having a local Florist replace the arrangement and reimburse the local florist, their Customer Service Rep. told me they had to be reorded from the out of town Florist and and would take another week to receive, again by UPS. FTd DIDN'T STRIVE TO SATISFY THE CUSTOMER....THEIR SORRY WASN'T ENOUGH.

I ordered a funeral floral arrangement from FTD on a Friday, for delivery the next day (Saturday).  The wake was on Sat evening and the funeral on Sunday.
They took my money, telephone number, and email address.
On Monday, I had a phone call telling me they weren't able to deliver the flowers to the funeral home (no florists available), and wanted to know my home address to deliver them to my home!!
Since the funeral was over, I cancelled the order and received a refund.
In this case they were too stupid to give me a call or email which would have allowed me to order from another source, and were even stupider to think a funeral wreath could be delivered to my home when the funeral was over.
FTD could not EVEN be bothered to give me a call, which would have allowed me to pay my respects to the family in a different manner.

..FTD customer service was horrible. They offered a 10 percent discount on my next order with the promise that the flowers would be delivered on Tuesday (2 days after mothers day). i just simply thought that it was absolutely ridiculous and shady. SO after being placed on hold 4 times and talking with them over an hour.. Nothing could be worked out and eventually they finally conceded to giving my a refund. Huge waste of time and overall frustrating and disappointing. "

Found out at 5pm on Mother's Day that the very expensive arrangement I had splurged for was not going to be delivered as promised.  Why?  Because the florist shop was very busy since it was a holiday and would it be ok to be delivered on Monday.  Since I had also paid a premium to have it delievered on Mother's Day - it was not ok.  But by then my choice was to accept a small credit and late delivery - or not to have anything at all.  Overall a very disappointing experience.  I will be going back to 1800flowers.
