Horrible. FTD sent flowers from a grocery store! I ordered flowers for an out-of-town funeral home visitation.  The arrangement looked beautiful on the website, but when I arrived at the funeral home, the florist had substituted minature roses for the more than 12 roses that should have been in the arrangement.  Instead of being 22 inches high as advertised, the arrangement was only 1 inch above the vase (ie it was flat with no height) and it was the most unattractive and embarrassing arrangement I had ever ordered.  I contacted FTD three times via email to complain.  Each time I was told they were trying to contact the florist and FTD refused to give me the florist's name.  After 3 weeks I contacted the funeral home and they gave me the grocery store's name.  I called the grocery store and they confirmed they had filled the order but denied that FTD had ever tried to contact them.  Don't use FTD online.  The product is inferior and they don't provide any customer service.

DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS TO BE SENT OUT OF TOWN IN A BOX !!!  My Son and Daughter sent me 24 ROSES for MOTHER'S DAY  that were delivered by UPS in a box. They were Rose Buds that were suppose to open in 3 to 4 days, they never opened, just DIED. UPS was not willing rectify the problem by having a local Florist replace the arrangement and reimburse the local florist, their Customer Service Rep. told me they had to be reorded from the out of town Florist and and would take another week to receive, again by UPS. FTd DIDN'T STRIVE TO SATISFY THE CUSTOMER....THEIR SORRY WASN'T ENOUGH.

I ordered a funeral floral arrangement from FTD on a Friday, for delivery the next day (Saturday).  The wake was on Sat evening and the funeral on Sunday.
They took my money, telephone number, and email address.
On Monday, I had a phone call telling me they weren't able to deliver the flowers to the funeral home (no florists available), and wanted to know my home address to deliver them to my home!!
Since the funeral was over, I cancelled the order and received a refund.
In this case they were too stupid to give me a call or email which would have allowed me to order from another source, and were even stupider to think a funeral wreath could be delivered to my home when the funeral was over.
FTD could not EVEN be bothered to give me a call, which would have allowed me to pay my respects to the family in a different manner.

..FTD customer service was horrible. They offered a 10 percent discount on my next order with the promise that the flowers would be delivered on Tuesday (2 days after mothers day). i just simply thought that it was absolutely ridiculous and shady. SO after being placed on hold 4 times and talking with them over an hour.. Nothing could be worked out and eventually they finally conceded to giving my a refund. Huge waste of time and overall frustrating and disappointing. "

.. Stay away from them until they can get their act together.

Found out at 5pm on Mother's Day that the very expensive arrangement I had splurged for was not going to be delivered as promised.  Why?  Because the florist shop was very busy since it was a holiday and would it be ok to be delivered on Monday.  Since I had also paid a premium to have it delievered on Mother's Day - it was not ok.  But by then my choice was to accept a small credit and late delivery - or not to have anything at all.  Overall a very disappointing experience.  I will be going back to 1800flowers.

horrible..horrible...do not use them for nothing...was told it will be delivered before 4 it wasnt..mother gone for the weekend and wont see them and they were a mothers day gift...and they wont refund..hate the company..cant believe they can do this..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely don't buy flowers from FTD.com. I received a groupon for $20 off of a $40 gift, and I thought that it would be easier to have them shipped than to have to go out and get them with a busy weekend. They jabbed me with a $20 "processing fee" because it was the week of Mothers Day, and then sent me the wrong flowers with no vase. They don't have an email to contact and I spent a half hour on hold trying to call. I had to go out and get ANOTHER vase and flowers from Hillers that cost me $15 all together. Oh and the flowers were pretty terrible looking.  The $8.00 bouquet was a lot prettier.

DO NOT use FTD!! I ordered flowers, set the date for delivery, and went on line to confirm that delivery was made -no information was confirmed. I had to call FTD directly, spoke with someone that was very difficult to understand AND he had to call the floral shop directly to see if the flowers were delivered (while I was on hold)! Yes, the flowers were delivered, but no confirmation was given. FTD just said "sorry for the inconvenience" - no discount to keep me as a customer. No compensation offered. I did ask for the name of the Floral shop and they were not able to give that to me. So, instead of not giving that floral shop any more of my business, I will NOT give FTD anymore of my business! There are a lot of great floral shops out there that would never treat their customers this way!

Wow Watch out for these guys! Picked a $29.95 set of flowerw and the end price was $71.09!
It says free shipping and no service call right under the price they lied! I live in Oregon and they wanted to charge me California sales tax? Why would I want to give Cal any of my money? No sale tax in Oregon where I live. $19.95 for delivery and fees?
So if you live in Oregon or the other state that doesn't have sales tax stay away from these rip offs!

My flowers almost didn't arrive on the day they were supposed to. I called FTD late in the day, and the cust serv rep called the local florist to find out why they hadn't arrived. The florist said they would go out first thing in the morning. I told the FTD rep this was absolutely unacceptable and insisted she call the florist and demand they deliver them that night. The florist agreed. The flowers that arrived were not as pictured on the site. Other reviews (on CBSNews.com for example) noted the same discrepancy. DO NOT ORDER FROM FTD. They work with unreliable partners, and are not reliable themselves insofar as what you see on the site is not necessarily what you get.

I wiSh I had read these reviews BEFORE ordering.  Pur brother/uncle died and FTD took our $240 for a beautiful arrangement.  Did they deliver?  Heck no.  No flowed at the visitation.  No flowers at the funeral.  But they did want to keep the money and deliver them to be dumped on the grave.  Incompetent.  Uncaring.  FTD.  Never again.,..

Online was tokay but never received confirmation Of delivery until I Adler for it.... And then flowers were never delivered! they then went back and forth with me telling me once they'll give me a refund and then called me back later to say that they won't give me a refund because their florist told them it was delivered. Basically my guests's words against their florist and they picked the stupid florist.

Will never EVER order from them again and I don't recommend it to anyone. Disgusting experience

Never order from FTD they use false advertisement. I moved to Texas a month ago and for my birthday I had two people send me flowers from FTD, the flowers looked nothing like the pictures at all. This company is a disgrace and they should be shut down. They charge people for gorgeous arrangements but deliver mediocre ones, and they wont give you your money back; they just send out another mediocre arrangement. Disgusting!

I ordered flowers for my wife to be delivered on Valentine's day. The flowers were never delivered. I tried to call their customer support and after a very long time on hold I got sick of hearing the recording that says, please contact us through our web site support. So I gave up with the phone and submitted a request for support through their website.

The support request was supposed to be answered within 48 hours. So I waited. And waited. Way after 48 hours, there was still no reply. So I tried to call support again and finally I got through to someone. He was not very apologetic and didn't really offer to do anything other than deliver the flowers the next day. He couldn't even try to expedite the delivery for that day to try to make up for the fact that the order was already many days AFTER Valentine's day?!

In the future, I will just go to a local florist directly so that I can make sure that my order is delivered on time and is what I expect it to be. FTD doesn't make the process cheaper and it definitely makes it more problematic.

I ordered flower for same day delivery and did order prior to the stated deadline.  The next day I spoke to the intended recipient - NO FLOWERS.  I called FTD - was told the "truck went out without my order".  Was promised an upgrade and another attempt to delivery on Monday (The flowers were to be delivered initially on Firday).  On Sunday I rec'd an email alerting me to the fact that I must contact customer service as there was a "problem".  The service rep told me the florist refused to do the upgrade for the additional money FTD offered them and rejected the order.

At that point I just cancelled and requested a refund.  More frustration than it was worth - this is my second FTD order - and it's my last.

The ONLY reason I used them was because I could not get through to the local florist I wanted to use.

NEVER AGAIN, FTD!

What a horrible, horrible experiance!  I just wanted to have flowers delivered to my girlfriend.  FTD took my order and my money.  When the flowers were never recieved, I tried contacting FTD with 3 requests through their web-site, 4 email requests, and spend more than 8 hours on-hold on the phone.  THREE DAYS LATER, I was finally able to speak with someone in  customer service that adminitted the order was never placed because they couldn't find a florist.  ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!  They offered me a downgraded UPS delivery 5 days late as a consolation.  I had to scream on the phone to get a refund.
FTD is a scam.  Avoid at all cost!!!!!

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my wife on Valentine's Day. Needless to say - they never came. I was mad, and my wife was disappointed. What kind of floral business cant manage to make a flower delivery on Valentine's Day? I will never use this website again .. and neither should anyone else.

FTD is the worst!!!


I placed an order of roses for my girlfriend to be delivered on Valentines day. They never got to her house. I called and e-mailed FTD for a status update and kept getting they were out for delivery. Even this morning I tried to find out what happened with my order and was placed on hold for 45 minutes. The operator could only tell me that my order would be delivered today (day after)with no possibility of a discount or refund. This was truly the worst experience I have ever had and hope by giving this review no one will have to go through the same.

I ordered from FTD.com for the first and last time for Valentines day. They only brought my wife a vase with 5 roses in it and this is what i ordered and paid for (1 week in advance).

They did not bring her chocolates but charged me for them. They did not deliver the flowers that i ordered. They charged me $89.97 for 5 red roses!
What a rip off DO NOT use ftd.com you will be disappointed.

So, my Valentines day order for my wife was totally screwed up. Instead of a big colorful arrangement with 18 roses and other flowers that I ordered I got something chintzy with 6 roses and a few tulips.

Reaching customer service was an ordeal of long waits and dropped calls. Then I finally got to a person who was clearly overseas and was very hard to understand (and I did not like being called "Mr. Mark" when Mark is my first name).

I did after much back and forth and insultingly low offers to start get the full charge reversed but it was not a pleasant experience and I do not intend to use FTD ever again.
