These people are crooks; they immediately take your money but delivery keeps getting delayed for months at a time.
Out of 3 items ordered, I received 1; of the other two, one has been lost with no refund offered and the other delayed 3 times each after I complained about delayed delivery.
Someone would be crazy to use their site.

Buyer beware! Received a large cabinet that was so obviously not the right color. "No problem" says customer service. After 10 emails, 13 calls and now 73 days later I have yet to receive a refund. They kept promising a credit to my card and continued to delay the refund past the 60 day refund policy and issued a company credit. (Last thing I want). I've had such an abysmal experience with Home Decorators that I will not do business with them again. I ordered 3 sets of blinds via their arrangement with Home Depot online (blinds.homedepot.com is actually Home Decorators), using my Home Depot charge card. BIG mistake! Measuring info online was wrong, causing me to think the blinds would fit as an "interior" and not "exterior" mounting. As a result, the blinds do not fit & they will not take them back; despite their incorrect info they rely upon their "no returns for custom merchandise" clause. 1 blind never arrived at all yet they will not make an adjustment to the charge. Went through a credit dispute with Citicorp, which runs the Home Depot card, & they insist the charge is legit. I am now back to arguing with Home Decorators about it. I've spent hours on this. They cannot find my order by the #s on the packing slip or order confirmation in order to follow up or check on problems, but they sure know how to tie it to my charge card. About $550 wasted.

Steer clear of this company. I placed an order on 9/3/2012 with expected ship dates of 10/11 and 9/26. They were delayed until 11/8 and 10/12. Now they don't know when they will ship. I am going to cancel the order and look elsewhere. Terrible experience and a waste of my time.

Quite a few of the items on the website state free shipping but when you click on them, a shipping charge comes up (can we say "bate and switch"?). Customer service is NO service since they will only tell you that "some items are free shipping and some are not." They never explain why the items that say free shipping aren't!
Very, very frustrating experience--look elsewhere.

Wow! If you order online and something broken it's IMPOSSIBLE to get the replacement part you need! It's not in their warehouse, it comes from adifferent vendor, they have no way of responding to or from their vendor which is no where near them, other than by email? No one is available in corporate office, their ALL, EVERYONE in meetings until 5pm....EVERYDAY......? The store won't replace because they may not get their replacement! That was different! How do you expect me to get mine? Oh....and the store DOES NOT HAVE THE CORPORATE NUMBER!!!!!!! REALLY? PLEASSSSSE BY YOUR STUFF ELSEWHERE!

My wife and I ordered several items from this company a few ago, including a lamp, CD stand, a cabinet, and bookshelves. We needed to return the cabinet because of such poor quality--I was unable to assemble it because the drilled holes in adjoining parts didn't align. We found their products to be of such low quality for the high price that we've decided that we will not buy from them again. They look good but the quality of materials and production is simply shoddy. Be warned.

I would definitely not recommend ordering from this company, their prices really are too good to be true. I ordered a bed from Home Decorators Collection in February. The shipment was delayed 4 times. I called multiple times and was assured that the bed would ship. I called last week and they told me that it was en route. I just received a notice that my order had been cancelled. I called to complain and after keeping me on the line for over 10 minutes, all they could offer me was a $20 rebate. The customer service is horrendous.

The order is on back order until Aug 9th, a very long time. I hope I will receive it and then I can vote. Waiting over 2 month for an order is a little extreme, is not like I was ordering a sofa. Just a basic Corner cabinet.

Be aware if you order from Home Decorators Collection website. I placed an order on 4/13/12 and realized that the size would not work. Within an hour, of ordering I called to cancel and received an order confirmation by phone and in an email.
Today 5/12/12 I called because the credit on my account had not been received. This time I was told that they would put a second request into
the vender who would ship my rug. SHE ALSO SAID THAT THEIR WERE NO GUARANTEES OF CANCELLATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is BAD business and you should be aware before placing orders on this site. If this correction is made, I will retract this statement, but she kept repearting that THERE WAS NO GUARANTEE

I ordered a desk in August, was told in November it would take until March, so I cancelled the order. In March they emailed saying my order was on the way! I tried to stop it but too late. Not only did 3 huge boxes arrive at my door, but a mistaken duplicate package arrived too! I ask them to take this back free of charge and they said I could just take these 4 enormous boxes to the UPS store! Duh! Of course my credit card was charged, AND they kept $40 for return shipping even though 3 customer service reps said I would not be because I made such a fuss. I don't know if this company is greedy or just plain stupid, but stay far, far away from these guys. Too bad because for inexpensive furnishings the quality is OK, but I am forever done with these folks.

I placed an order with this company, received a confirmation number and expected shipping date. After a month, I called to check on my order and they had not record of it and the product now is back ordered 5 months. The representative I was speaking to hung up on me! Save yourself some time and frustration and shop elsewhere.

I order Martha Stewart flat file cabinets and was pleasantly surprised by the quick delivery and quality of the merchandise. Quality was better than I expected and better than I could find locally for the price. Assembly procedures were well explained and I had no difficulty putting them together.
There was a problem with the shipment of matching hutches (only one two boxes for each hutch was shipped), but the problem was handled promptly and courteously.

I felt I should write a review based on the horror stories I read before I ordered. I deceided to order a bed despite the stories, and was pleasently surprised.
My bed arrived about 6 weeks from the time I placed the order.
My only frustration was the fact that I the website said my order was shipping 2/27. I called the day after that and was told tit would ship 3/3. Well you guested it... on 3/3 I got an email that said it was shipping 4/3. On 3/6 I got an email stating it had shipped. I had not made arrangements to be home on 3/9 so it was delivered to my apt office.
Everythings came in good , clean condition, ( I ordered a white fabric bed).
The instructions were vauge and it took me about 3hrs to put together by myslelf.
Overall so far I am satisfied.

I ordered a filing cabinet from Home Docorators which arrived with several damaged pieces. Paint was chipping and wood was very obviously broken and the pieces which had fallen off were not in the package, leaving me to beleive it was damaged before shipment, striking me as careless.
When I called to have the peices replaced, that part was no problem, but when I asked about a partial refund, I was told that there was no refund available unless I chose to keep the damaged pieces. I also asked for the shipment to be expedidited and recieved "I can make no promises in response - I reported the pieces damaged on a Thursday morning, they shipped the following Monday afternoon. Friday, after thinking about the rediculousness of the situation, I called back, explained my situation and conversation from the previous day and asked to speak with a supervisor. I was told I would recieve 10% of my money back, but still no expediditing the shipment would occur.

Ugh. Do not recommend this seller. I didn't read the reviews first. Silly me. I ordered an item on Jan 9. It still has not shipped as of Jan 17. As I am used to exceptional service provided by other online retailers, this is new to me, and I am not pleased about it. Do yourself a favor and patronize other more professionally run sellers.

I haven't received my order yet and was very unhappy that when I called they said an email was sent and I didn't get a notice that it was back ordered! For that I am not sure I'd order from you again. I still have not received the order which has held up my remodel and was told it won't be sent out until 12/15!
