Communication is a little shortcoming. Would have liked a little more communication between the seller and the purchaser, such as a confirmation, followed with a your order has been received and you will be notified when it will be delivered. Your delivery list of items ordered leaves a lot to be desired. Overall experience was pretty good. I would definitely shop with you again, and would recommend you to others.

One of five units was repackaged, another requires repair.
Another package contained a Track End Cap which was over priced and wrong.
There was no invoice or packing slip included in this shipment.
I'm very unhappy with the service and pricing, also the phone operator and sales.
As to question number 7, the real answer is maybe.

My expectations were meet. The order was sent in 2 shipment from 2 suppliers. The first one was here within a week and the other one came in within the time they said it would. It was a good experience and I will deal with them again in the future.

The hardest partfor me, is making up my mind as to what I want to order. Fortunately, in this case, I had a brand and model number already, so it was just a matter of locating the identical item.

Terrible customer service, just try and return something you have purchased from them. They wanted a picture of the item, before they would take it back (are you kidding me). Customer does not know the prodcedure for returns and it not willing to help at all!!! Save yourself a headache and DO NOT BUY from them. Use a larger organization/company that is used to dealing with purchases and returns. They are very lax with their treatment of customers.

I WOULD NEVER DEAL WITH THIS STORE AGAIN. THEY CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD MULTIPLE TIMES OR THE WRONG AMOUNT AND WILL NOT ISSUE A FULL CREDIT. THEY ALSO PROVIDED THE WRONG ADVICE ABOUT LUTRON GANG PLATES.

Unless you have unlimited free time to follow up on your order don't place an internet order with this company. They claim to send confirmation e-mails but they don't. I have given them multiple e-mail addresses to try and the e-mails never come through. You're lucky if you get a live person on the phone. I went so far as to leave a message for their CEO with my order # thinking he might be able to get customer service to call me back but that didn't happen. I'm surprised that in a tenuous economy companies have not realized the value of exceptional customer service. I'm in the middle of a large project but I won't be ordering anything else I need from this company due to their lack of follow-up and my limited free time for hounding them.

This place has terrible service! It took ten days for them to notify me that they couldn't fulfill my order. When I called to inquire what had happened, I was placed on hold by three different agents who couldn't answer any of my questions. I think I spent a total of forty five minutes on hold. To top it off, when I wanted to cancel the rest of my order (I had ordered 2 matching pieces, one of which they couldn't fulfill), they told me I would have to pay a 25% restocking fee! They told me I should be happy that the managers granted this since the fee is normally 50% (ooh lucky me). Thats insane! Why should I pay for their mistake? Now Im stuck with two pendant lights and no matching chandelier. It's worth your time to shop elsewhere!

The worst service I have ever had. I placed my order 3 weeks ago. Till now I have not received my order.
I gave them a call and their manager told me that the product was backordered . They don't even bother to notify a customer that product is not available or backordered and customer has to wait one month...They take your money and don't want to hear from you any more. The worst service available.

This merchant sold items that were not in stock from the manufacturer even though their website said hundreds were available. Not only that, they charged my account without verifying it. I had to call to see why my lamps hadn't shipped only to have them call the mfr to discover the lamps wouldn't be in stock til mid April. They have no idea whether items they are selling are actually available. Ridiculous!

This has got to be one of the worst expierences I have had when ordering an item online. I bought a light fixture and when it came in the colors were very different than what was shown/described on Lighting By Gregory's website. Sanya Roman in customer service was rude and abrupt and is charging me a 25% restocking fee even though it is their fault for not showing the true color of the light fixture on thier website. I am in customer service too and there is no way I would ever treat a customer as horribly as Sonya has treated me. When I calmy told Sonya that she is not doing the right thing by charging a restocking fee she hung up the phone on me. They lost a customer for life. If you want to purchase from a reputable company avoid Lighting By Gregory at all costs. I wish I read the reviews out there before I got ripped off. :-(

I love their website for its ease of use; love the variety & quality of products they carry. But, finding out the status of my order was like falling into a black hole. It was inexplicably difficult to simply find out when the order had been processed, when it was expected to ship & when I might receive it. I'm still waiting for it to arrive after many weeks of having no idea where my order was in the process of being fulfilled. Finally got that info after contacting the company, leaving an email, getting a call back & then getting an email with the answer! Ridiculously frustrating! Tracking an order is a very simple process from every other website I use to make purchases. It should never be the multi-step, baffling process that this company puts its customers thru.

Overall experience was very good. I was a little dissapointed upon receipt of merchandise because of a small scratch on the base of the lamp.
I elected not to return or exchange the lamp because the damage was minor.
