It was a good experience primarily because it was obvious the items were authentic but also because the descriptions are clear and options numerous.
The delivery was faster than expected and communication very clear.

Unfortunately, I was very dissapointed with my purchase of an egift card from La Tienda. My dad is from Seville and enjoys your products, very much. First, I was a little annoyed that I couldn't purchase the egift card directly from your website, but when I called to place the order, I thought everyone was going to be taken care of. I ordered a $50 gift card for my father, for his birthday, but didn't hear anything from him. I found out, about a week later, he recieved the egift card but it was "from" the girl who took the order. I was not listed as the giver, so he wasn't really sure what it was or why it was sent.

He has since thanked me, and I'm sure he'll enjoy whatever he gets from your website. It's just when I spend that kind of money and talk to a live person, I expect that I would have been listed as the person sending the gift.

The order arrived as described and on time.  great packaging and fresh products.  Thanks! i will sure keep buying from Tienda. com.  they carry some of the best Spanish products i have found in the US.

The products are great and even better since I last ordered from La Tienda. However, I have stopped using them twice in the past due to poor customer service practices. I hope they have improved; I have not had to contact them , nor they me.

Products arrived in short time, excellent packaging.  Products were the ones I ordered. Very satisfied and strongly recommend this shop. I always use La Tienda for buying Spanish products.

Broad range of excellent products. Shipping is prompt plus exceptionally good packaging assures product arrives intact. Single price shipping is appreciated on larger orders and encourages the same. Outstanding customer service. I've recommended La Tienda to a number of friends and they've been impressed by my very positive experience with La Tienda.

I place my order on 12/20/2012. the tracking info said to be deliver on 12/25/12. I know never is going to happen. I am realistic. Call on 12/26/12. They informed me the order will be shipped on that day. Next day I received a phone call that the basket was not available. I told them cancel, and after many years of be a customer I will stop shopping at latienda.com. Later the call me to let me Know the order was filled. Then UPS call me to inform the package was in the way to the house, they are checking the info. THat mean the package left on 12/26. They are cluesless. This was a special Gift for my fiance family, I was in my way to Puerto Rico to propose her, what a better gift than a Nice Basket from La tienda, was late, unpredictable and with a Next Day delivery, but deliver a week later. Should I trust your company agai. You will be the judge.

I ordered several items that were on special. When received a day late the order was inconplete. I called several times all you get is a recording saying "we will call you back". Also send 2 emails. Finally called the ordering number and they transfer me to customer service. Explained the problem the guy said he will send the missing items should arrive in 2days. Got a called from them on 3rd day, now they advised they did not have one of the missing items (2 boxes of Rabitos Royale 16 count). After another 4 days Finally the rest of items arrived. Mean while the Rabitos Royale were for sale on their website but now they cost double, and they said they will Credit my account. That's embarrassing for them to save a few dollars.

As always the items were shipped in a timely manner,packed with the outmost care (as if they were sending them to a realtive of their own)and the items I ordered, due to their quality, bring me back to my childhood of when I lived in Spain 40 something years back. Thank you La Tiemda. Jorge

Overall a great experience. One order of bread was damaged and on another order the coffee bag had pin holes in it. In both cases the customer service was excellent and I received replacements very quickly. The bread that was damaged 'Concept' Pan de Chapata item # BD-21 looks like it was removed from the web site and that was disappointing as I would purchase it again.

La tienda has an amazing selection of food from Spain. I spent a summer in Salamanca and was so happy to find a lot of my favorites in one place.  The products showed up in good shape and were just like I remembered.  The items were a little over wrapped with bubble wrap, but I guess it worked.  I will be be shopping with them again.

La Tienda has excellent products, but the shopping experience was marred by unreliable delivery. The first order arrived swiftly and in fine condition with the cold pack still frozen. The second delivery took two weeks from shipping date. The jamon was fine, but it arrived too late for my event and the cold pack was not cool.

MY ORDER SAID IN STOCK.WHEN THE REST OF IT CAME IT WAS NOT THERE. I CALLED AND GOT A RECORDING.SOME ONE CALLED BACK & LEFT A MESSAGE THAT IT WOULD NOT SHIP TIL 1/9/13. I GOT AN EMAIL ON 1/3/13 THAT IT WOULD SHIP NEXT WEEK, MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I've been buying products via La Tienda for a few years now and have always found them to be a responsible online retailers. Ordering is easy and order tracking is accurate (when necessary). The shipping charges are reasonable and I've never been anything less than very satisfied with any product I've purchased.

i have not received my orders yet. They were promised by Dec 26 and Dec 31 and they have yet to be delivered. It is very disappointing! I called and emailed the merchant and their attitude is so non-chalant it is amazing! They cannot tell me when, if ever, my order will be shipped. I have learned my lesson and will probably not shop with this merchant next holiday season.

I ordered 8 bottles of pickled garlic. One was improperly sealed and leaked over the Calaspara rise I had ordered. I called to report the problem & was told my complaint would be referred to "customer service" & that I would be contacted the following Monday. I'm still waiting. I'm not a happy camper.

Placing the order was very easy...the lady that took my orders on the afternoon of December 21st was very helpful and gave me an assurance of their company's policy of guaranteed on time delivery. But that's where the easy part ends. Although I paid extra for the overnight delivery, the items did not arrived until December 27th, which were of no used because these were supposed to be part of our Christmas eve dinner. When I did not received the item by December 24th, I called their Customer Service which was, of course, closed. I called Wednesday and had someone who could not help me as much and he transferred me to a woman (who has a very thick-accent and refused to give me her name again since I did not understand what she said when she introduced herself) who took my complaint lightly, laughing all the time she was talking to me. We could hardly understand each other up to the point that she hanged up on me. I called several times, and I kept on getting their voice mail...apparently they had taken note of my phone number that no one would answer my call. I have not gotten back to them...I am waiting for their call to discuss my predicament since they were not able to resolve the problem when I called them. I feel that it's their responsibility to return my call after hanging up on me. La Tienda should be awre on how their Customer Service staff handles rpoblems of their customers. It's such a pity that my first experience shopping with La Tienda was a very disappointing one. I was even so excited learning that there is a place where I can order our favorite ham...even mentioned it to our friends and relatives. With what happened, I am certain that I will not recommend them.
