Not a good site, I wasn't able to find the car I wanted. I am looking for a Chevy tahoe Hybrid, and two dealers emailed me but neither had the car. Why did they call me then? I got a some template email, promising a follow-up, but I didn't get it. I don't want to wait for the car when I can go a little further and buy it there. The site is very nice and easy to use, but once it comes down to buying the car they dissapeared and left me to fend for myself with the salesmen.

Don't use online car shopping sites like this, except for the research. That is good. To buy, just do it by walking in to the dealers and getting the best deal. Thats what I did with my brother the next day at the next city over and got a great price. I need the large car for the kids and there's good discounts on these models. I didn't need Automotive.com for a discount like they advertise.

Was pleasantly surprised by this site! A friend told me before to ‘buy my car online’, but I never really believe it or really understood what it meant. I didn’t want to do all of this complicated transaction on the computer! But I tried Automotive.com after finding a flyer, and the way the company works is that you don’t actually “buy” the car online, you simply get offers online from dealerships in your city, and you can use this to negotiate. The “internet price” on Automotive is always lower then if you walked in to the salesroom. I got emailed/called by 3 dealers, and 2 of them for me have better prices than the advertised price online. I think since the deal first goes through Automotive.com you get discount price! When I went to the  closest dealer to check out the car they emailed, my salesman Richard was very nice and didn’t mind the cheap price and that Automotive.com negotiatied for me, and I negotiated some off of that even more. Got in and out of store in 1.5 hours I think. I love my 2010 Honda Accord and recommend this Automotive company a lot!

I was in the market for a used car and it was suggested I check out this site. It is easy to use and easy on the eyes. All information is right there, no need to hunt for it. Overall a great website!

Using the car comparisons, I was able to compare several SUV's at once which allowed me to view all the vehicles details side-by-side, very helpful. I finally chose the 2010 Volvo XC 90 with a little incentive from the wife. I filled out a simple request form for pricing at dealers around my area and received several quotes that day. When I wanted to get rid of my current car, I wasn't sure if I wanted to search for a used car, or go all out and buy a new car. I went to Automotive.com, and was able to get the best of both worlds. Their used car classified section allowed me to search for a used car by price, and by location, so I could pinpoint cars near me. This was a big deal for me, as I didn't want to pay any extra money for delivery charges. Their new car section was also really helpful, as I got all of the car research info that I needed. I submitted a request for pricing info on two new car models, and got back price quotes from car dealers within hours. It was really fast.
