This is the first review that I have ever written online, but the customer service at Faucet Direct was so great that I was compelled to do so.
I would recomend them to anyone. The customer service is very helpful and they follow through with what they promise. Products were great, they handled the returns for items that we did not use and were very easy to work with. Shipping was on time for everything that we ordered.

Horrible experience. I ordered a faucet and valve, and days later I noticed my credit card had been billed, but the order was on hold. When I phoned customer services, I was put on hold for close to an hour. I finally decided to hang up, thinking I must have been cut off -- how is it possible I was still on hold?
I thought customer service would return the call or send an email, but there was nothing. So, I emailed and mentioned my long wait on the phone, and could someone contact me. Another person emailed, stating a different reason than previously stated by phone-on-hold person, as to why my order was on hold. I told them I was too frustrated to continue the process, and please just cancel the order.
Another day goes by, and no cancellation or communication. I had to call my credit card company to get involved. I called FaucetDirect and told them my credit card company would take action if I wasn't refunded within 15 days. The order was finally cancelled, and I'm waiting for my refund to show up on my credit card.

I bought a shower base from faucet direct and it arrived broken. I called faucet direct to notify them and they told me they'd send a replacement immediately. A week later, I got an ewmail saying that the replacement would take 5 weeks to arrive! Since this was impossible given my schedule, I went ahead a repaired the broken fibreglass with marine epoxy and then went to install the shower. I then noticed that the drain assembly (always included with this American standard model) was missing as well as the custom brackets that hold the base to the wall. As a result, I've had to use an ill-fitting drain assembly and will have to fabricate the steel brackets. Not only has my order cost me alot of time on the phone, time in the field, but money on supplies and hardware! Beware this company! They do not vet their suppliers and, as in my case, their suppliers have no problem stealing from and damaging their inventory.

Fantastic customer service! I ordered a kitchen sink from Faucet Direct on Saturday, Sept. 10. UPS tracking showed sink delivered to my house on Tuesday, Sept. 13-- even though there was no sink! (Found out a day later that it had been delivered to the wrong house.) I contacted Faucet Direct on Wednesday, Sept. 14 and was told by a customer representative that Faucet Direct would check into the situation and send me another sink ASAP. Sink arrived on Thursday, Sept. 15. Thank you, Keith and Faucet Direct.

I was contacted by Faucet Direct after my order and asked to give a positive review of my experience. At that time I had nothing but good things to say. Their price, quality and turn around time were all top notch. Unfortunately, within 3 months, my very expensive faucet started leaking. So I contacted them. They say no problem it will be covered under warranty from Newport Brass. They will check and get back to me. NOTHING. So I email again. NO RESPONSE. So I email again. STILL WAITING. They are great until they get your money and then if you have a problem, you are ON YOUR OWN! BUYER BEWARE!

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. I purchased 4 Kohler faucets from faucetdirect.com with free shipping which was supposed to take between 7-10 days and received them in 3 days in factory sealed Kohler boxes. I saved about $380 from the suggested Kohler retail price which I was told by my plumber was already far less than he could get from his supply house. Instead of having to pay over $1000, I got my faucets for $620. One reviewer suggested the only good reviews were written by the CEO of faucetdirect.com. I'm writing a good review and I never even heard of them before I did a google search for direct order faucets. I just happened upon this site when looking to save from the supply houses inflated prices and since I'm just replacing faucets due to hard water wearing them out and am not under any deadline decided to chance ordering despite all the complaints that home improvement/building deadlines were missed costing more money in delay than savings. I definitely recommend this site if you want to save tons of money and I personally got my order super fast (3 days) with free shipping.

I greatly appreciated dealing with DirectFaucet for my purchases. The Company had variety and their site was easily traversed in searching for what I wanted. Customer service was excellent. Easy website to order from. Although my product was damaged, I could tell the damage was from the MFG and not the retailer or shipping. So I took the issue to the MFG/Bosch in Vermont to resolve my issue. Bosch replaced the unit under warranty. The entire purchasing was excellent.

Faucet Direct's website says one thing and Customer Service says another. I placed a large order of multiple pieces. All items were listed in stock. Some said they shipped "24-48 hours" and some said "1-3 business days". After a week of no communication, other than charging my card the full amount, I called and was told to call back the next day after they had time to "check". Part of the order was then supposedly shipped, but the item that was most time sensitive was not. It was listed as "135 in stock, ships 24-48 hours". I finally canceled after 9 days (7 of them business), and then had to hassle for another week for my refund. During the 9 days I sent 2 emails in addition to my phone calls. They were never replied to.
The cheap prices are NOT worth the hassle of non-existent Customer Service.

Placed order for 3 toilets 6 weeks ago, nothing has been recieved. Customer service is very slow to answer and can't provide any ETA. They claim that some items was damaged and returned to their warehouse. Partial ship was not offered. Not sure how it will all end up as comminication is overly slow. Shop somewhere else.
Update 1: Sliding down hill faster. After 8 weeks we got 2 bowls and 4 tanks (instead of 3 and 3). Missing bowl was ordered and we need to wait more for that to show up.
Delivery came in on its on withut any update from CS. Promised e-mail updates or call back had never materialised. I recommend to get all you can from customer service rep, while you are on the line with that person, don't accept any follow ups for later.

I just wrote a negative review for one of Faucet Direct's competitors so I thought I would change my tune and write a positive one for this company.
I have used Faucet Direct on two occasions. In both instances, everything went smoothly and I was completely satisfied. The first time I used FaucetsDirect was when I special ordered a Grohe faucet from Home Depot and when it arrived it had two right handles. Needless to say, this was not Home Depot's fault, but the contractor was about to start work and I needed the correct item fast. So I ordered the same Grohe unit from Faucet Direct and had it FedEx'd. Not only did it arrive in good shape and on time, but Faucet Direct's price beat Home Depot's even with the Fed Ex charge tacked on.
I went to the competitor because FD did not carry the Brizo faucet I wanted. Never again. Perhaps next time I will look for a different faucet rather than a different store.

Excellent customer service. Faucets were delivered with defective handles. Due to construction delays I did not find out until long after the return deadline. That was no problem. I sent photos of the issue and customer service rep Anna Caldwell ordered replacement parts from manufacturer. The manufacturer was slow sending the parts but Anna persisted. Finally they were sent and promptly lost by UPS. Anna got on the case again and had a second set sent.

I ordered three items from Faucet Direct. My credit card was immediately billed for all three items. One of the items was shipped two or three days later. A week later I was notified that the other two (2/3 of the purchase price) were no longer available. Nine days after the full price was charged to my VISA the purchase price for the undelivered items was credited. The full shipping charge of $7.97 was left on for the delivery of the remaining $24 item. I would not have ordered only the one item and paid 1/3 more for shipping. When I called customer service, I was told I could return the item at my cost for a full refund of the original charge. There are a number of things very wrong here. I would caution anyone considering doing business with this company.

Elements Of Design ED3145 Shower Curtain Rod
Elements Of Design ED3145 Shower Curtain Rod was a disapointement, the only well made peices are the wall brackets and support rod, the curtain rod is so thin it came pre-dented in the box. also the dark bronze finish has a purple cast and was also scratched in the box. the curtain rod was so thin it equalled wallmart junk. i would not recomend this to any one. If you realy want one of these go to J.C.Penny they have the same item for twenty seven dallors i paid $127.00 what a rip-off, maybe Faucet Direct will refund the extra 100.00 waisted on this rod. I will post this to the web just help others.
