I am making another purchase as we speak (some extra memory cards and rechargable batteries) and I rate them @ four and three quarter stars. Some products are just a little bit less than retail [not like the camera what was really 5 off retail], but price is mostly mitigated by the good service and info.

Order process was fine, but they could not process my credit card. I use BOA Shop Safe to prevent online fraud, and while I've never had a vendor with an issue - these guys claimed it was denied on their end. My bank said differently, and showed an approved transaction. I spent an hour on the phone and multiple calls with my bank trying to resolve this, and when I tried to give the Camera For Less guy the 800 number for the authorizations dept - he wasn't interested and said he didn't know what to tell me. I'm pretty disappointed with their friendliness and service, to say the least. I would not do business with Camera For Less again. I was happy to spend $40 more elsewhere for the same item at a place that valued my business.

I found a Nikon D90 with 18-105 vr lens with the kit at Cameraforless for 1049. Yeah, right. Everywhere else it is $1500. I checked Cameraforless's website, and then I noticed that most items were priced right in the average range. It appeared that they were using this kit -- the one I wanted -- as a price leader. Target, Ritz, -- they do that ALL the time.

To be sure, though, I called Eddie at Cameraforless. You will not believe the professionalism of these people. They dealt with me as though I was the only customer they had ever had. I felt very special. I had asked for overnight shipping, and they called me TWICE before the cutoff time to ensure that all the information was correct.

Still a little leery, though, I placed my order online.

I received EXACTLY what I ordered, with a Nikon NFL cap include to boot! In perfect shape, Nikon US Warranty -- everything just as advertised.

In my future I plan on lights, lenses, etc, and I need a vendor I can trust. I have one now. Cameraforless is where my business will go.

The camera came very quickly and in good condition. No problems whatsoever. Overall a great online shopping experience. =)

 I have used cameras for less for almost all my photo needs over the last several years. They seem to have the best ongoing deals on the internet in regards to computer parts. I still use shopping.com to search other websites but almost alway end-up back with Camerasforess.

A malfunction happened with the camera after 1 1/2 weeks, however it may not have been no ones fault. Items can have a malfunction either new or refurbished. Canon is fixing my camera with not a charge. Great business. Thank you.

I phoned these guys to see if they have a particular camera listed on their site in stock and they say yes very quickly without doing any checking .  BTW:  this particular camera has been discontinued for a number of years already.  They've also told me that I have to order it online.  With these kind of answers, I found it very uncomfortable so I decided not to order from them.  I believed I've made the right choice.  Soon after, I decided to google to see some feedbacks from other shoppers and from bbb.com for this store and well well well, these guys don't look honest at all.  Based on some of the feedbacks, I believed these guys are using bait and switch tactics.  They selling you something they don't have and refusely to give you your money back.  And if they do decide to give you your money back, they take 15% restocking fee (and I see it as profit in their book).  I recommend staying away from this site.

Camera arrived without retail box and without US warranty card. Camera was found to be defective in about 30 days and when sent to factory for repair learned it was a refurbished camera, not new.

besides that mr hershy the vendor called to sell accessories with order confirmation.

i had a problem with my camera and i found the person on the phone very annoying and unpleasant to deal with they charged me a restocking fee which i don't feel i should have paid

I ordered a Sony Mini DV Camcorder from this company. I received the wrong camera. I called the company and got the owner to call me back (the number is to his cell phone). He initially told me it was the same as the camera I had ordered. I explained that I had an identical camera to the one I had ordered and that they were NOT the same. I needed to have the exact model I had ordered. He responded back that he had received another call from another customer that had received MY camera. He told both of us to send them back and he would exchange them. I did not receive my camera. When contacted, he said he had not received the camera I had sent back to him. UPS verified that the camera had been received by a woman. He first said it must have been his wife, the said there were no women there. I had to contest through MasterCard to get my money back! I will NEVER do business with this company again. By the way, I Google Mapped the address and it is a apartment building!

Ordinarily I have little time or interest in reviewing a store. But with expensive internet purchases one has to be more prudent. Years ago the pursuit of a cheap price put me in trouble when I was conned by AAA photo (solved by a phone call to the CC issuer).

So while Camerasforless's ratings are very good, still I was a touch hesitant to order from the internet rather than pay much more from Best Buy in order to have comfort knowing they were around the corner.

I placed an order for a Canon xl1s high end hard to get video camera Monday night. Camerasforless's approved my order Tuesday morning. Wednesday I was stunned when ups call me to schedule delivery. Thursday afternoon I was watching it. I live in NM and usually items take about a week to arrive. But the route to MT may be better(?).

Anyway camerasforless's service was excellent.

Ordered the Canon Powershot SD870 camera late Sat night and received it Wed AM at work with the 3-6 day shipping(needed it for daughter going on a trip so opted to not use free 7-9 day shipping). This is my 4th order from from Camera for less and each has come promptly and fully intact.
