I had the worst experience of my life with this company. They will not allow exchanges for ineffective equipment they sell, even though the product arrivesthis way. A waste of $90 for a complete series that skips on every single disc. Do not trust this company. I have bought through many sellers amazon, abebooks, barnes and noble, ebay, etc. and no one has ever showed me as little respect as this company.

Don't. email spam forever. Company ignores repeated requests to remove, following Privacy Policy. stay away. started with a cancelled order, all downhill from there.

1) I ordered the notebook blu ray on September 2010
2) Received an email from Customer service that the item is backorderd and will be available in 2-3 weeks
3) A month passes by, so I contact customer service again and I am told that they will ask auxillary warehouse to fulfill in 2-3 days
4) Another month passes by and now when I contact customer service to complain I get no response

Poor service, adversiting itmes thay can't/won't fulfill

No delivery at all. It's been more than a month since I had ordered. So I called them, they said they reshipped the dvd and I should get it within a week. I waited for two more weeks and still nothing comes. I have to go through a disputed with paypal to get my money back. NEVER BUY FROM DEEPDISCOUNT again.

I found a game on their site that I really wanted to get. I ordered it and purchased via credit card. After almost a week of waiting, I wrote to them about why my order was still in "processing" state. They replied saying item is out of stock.

I am now trying to cancel my order. I wrote back to them asking why customers do not get notified upfront about item being unavailable at the moment BEFORE placing the order!

I ordered three video games from DeepDiscount.com Dec. 1st and received an e-mail saying they were all "in stock."

After watching all week to see if they had shipped, I e-mailed them Dec. 6th to check my order status and received a blanket e-mail thanking me for my inquiry.  I then Googled the company to find their 800 number (couldn't find it on the Web site) and called.

The guy said my items were backordered...this is three weeks before Christmas.  I asked him why they showed "in stock" on my first e-mail confirmation and he said they update their inventory hourly so it must not have been updated when I placed my order.  I then asked when they would have notified me of this and they wouldn't have.  I cancelled my order and will not use them again.

I recently found deepdiscountdvd.com and was intrigued by the prices and free shipping, but found the reviews to be split good and bad.  I personally purchased sopranos complete series which was backordered and 2 sets of the family guy complete series.  I received all three including the backordered sopranos in less than one week.  The shipment was boxed perfectly and I am 100% completely satisfied.  If you are looking to buy from this vendor, I would highly recommend them.

Of all the websites I have shopped at this one is the worst for delivery. I have placed 2 orders and each time have had to email their customer service to find out where the goods have gone. The first order eventually arrived mind you, and all in good order.
However, on this second AND LAST occasion, I have now been waiting over one month for delivery of 4 dvd's. Even to Australia that is an unduly long time and have not encountered such slow delivery of goods from any other USA website. They must be coming by ship !!
Seriously, it's very frustrating and of course my credit card was charged which makes it more annoying!!
I remain hopeful that goods will get here at some stage but it's doubtful I'll give this company a third try !

When I ordered my 4 cd's the website said they were in stock. I then received an email stating that 3 of the 4 were back-ordered. I called to cancel the order and was told that since 1 was in stock I could not cancel until it was shipped. When I received my shipping confirmation on the 1 cd I called back (on hold for 20 minutes) and was told that 2 more were in stock even through their status on the website showed backorder. I was told I could not cancel until the next 2 had shipped. Called back the next day when I had not received any additional shipping conformation. Finally got the order cancelled.

I ordered an HDMI extension cable, a very difficult item to find. There was an initial slip-up on the order, but as soon as I notified them of the problem, there was wonderful communication, fast resolution, a partial refund on my shipping charge, and very fast delivery of the item. I would have no hesitation about ordering from them again. Also prices are very good. Only drawback is a $2.99 surcharge for orders under $50.

Had a big order of books and DVD's for Christmas, ordered in November. Shipped late, if at all. Billed separately, hard to track. Did not accept their own coupon at time of checkout for 20% off. Customer service a nightmare. Waited for over an hour each time I called to talk to a person on customer service, then told a different thing every time. Each time the previous person I talked with apparently gave me wrong information. Had used them in the past but never with a large order. Always took up to three weeks to ship item. After this nightmare, I will never use them again.

Ordered a computer game in mid September. Emailed & were told on 10/15/07 that it was out of stock. The next day (10/16/07) we received an email stating it had been shipped. When we did not receive it by 11/3/07, we called & were told it had been shipped on 10/24/07 & we would receive it on 11/5/07. Just got off phone (11/5/07) w/staff and were told order was canceled in October. "Cliff" could not have been more helpful, and confirmed that the order had been canceled & was very apologetic. The treatment of our order by Deep Discount is unacceptable. This was to have been a gift that we had told the recipient 3 different times that it was on its way, even though it was late. We own a business. This lack of, along with mis-communication ,makes us not want to do business or recommend Deep Discount again.

I have ordered MANY items from deepdiscount.com and I will say that their customer service is HORRIBLE. Why do they even ask for a phone number is beyond me, they never call if there is a problem or question. Twice now I have had orders cancelled with no explanation or warning. And they CHARGED my credit card SIX TIMES for the same order of $296.86 each time!!! Then they refused to call the C/C to have the holds & charges removed, said it would happen within 24 hours.. well 5 days later still there! They have some of the most ignorant people working in customer service, poor training!!! It took ME sitting on the phone for 2 hours 45 min to get this sorted out. My C/C (Bank of America) had my on Conference call with DeepDiscount.com to FORCE them to remove the charges right then & there since it is NOT true about it being 24 hours later... more like 15 days!

I planned on a trip to Alabama to see my favorite group Mint Condition. I ordered their Live at the 9:30 Club DVD a month before the concert. I was told it would take two weeks. After being told to continue to wait to many times I let them talk me into reshipping because they promised delivery in four days. After the sixth day I called and was told that they had to credit my account first then reorder the product. Never again!

I have ordered DVDs from Deep Discount several times now and always been extremely pleased with the prices and level of service. Their prices are EXCELLENT, and much lower than any other major DVD retailer I have shopped with, frequently up to 50% lower than the already low prices on Amazon.com.

I have occasionally had to wait quite some time for backordered DVDs, but I have always gotten my products as described.

Deep Discount has the lowest prices I have found for anime and imported British television shows. I recently purchased the box set of "Jeeves & Wooster" (which retails for $79.99 at Borders) for $43. They also have the lowest prices I have seen for the remastered Miyazaki DVDs that Disney recently released, including "Princess Mononoko", "My Neighbor Totoro", "Spirited Away", "The Cat Returns", "Porco Rosso", and more!
