Great presentation - THAT"S IT!! Beautifully packaged but the reality is the quality and amount of what is inside is insulting considering the price. Skip this company. Your money will be better spent putting a basket together yourself and shipping it or sending something from a different company. Once you throw away all the packaging, you will be amazed at how little was included. Don't waste your money! WINE COUNTRY can do better ---- but won't unless they receive the message that they need to step it up and deliver value for what is charged! - AVOID this merchant in the mean time.

The product is good,but i charged with my debit card.. the charge for the merchandise went through, but when those funds cleared my bank the initial charge was on a 3 day hold.which means they had $223.00 held hostage.for 3 days during peak christmas shopping..it took 2 days of phone calls totalling 2 hours to get it removed..only after i would not take no for an answer..... because of this i will never order from them again...

I have been ordering from Wine Country Gift Baskets for the past several years and had always been happy with their service, even though I knew the gifts were overpriced, until now. My shipment to our family attorneys was sent to the wrong post office in the wrong town to be delivered and the Wine Country customer service basically told me that it was my problem. After speaking to the third person on the third phonecall to them, one customer service agent said she would resend the packages- to the right town this time- free of charge. When I checked my email, the packages had been sent but I was recharged for them. I again called customer service and the person I spoke with told me that she could refund for the packages but not the shipping. So at this time, I'm stuck paying over $60 for two tiny packages that I could have ( and should have) bought at a wholesale club for about $10 each and delivered myself. I will NEVER use Wine Country again. They were insulting and absolutely not helpful. I will be disputing all charges with my credit card today.

I received a Wine Country Gift Basket for Christmas. It looked nice, but the food items are the lowest quality and I even threw out a couple of items that just tasted bad. Sample quantities - 2 pieces of candy in a box, a handful of crackers, a teabag. Don't believe any of the items are gourmet - Dollar General store brand tastes gourmet next to the items in my basket. And my basket had two gel packs of desiccant - with food! For those senders who have received appreciation from recipients, I'm not going to tell the person who sent my gift basket that it was awful, either.

i ordered 4 gift baskets for christmas gifts for family this year and was emabarrassed by what they received. the pictures online are cute and the actual product was cute, but there was not very much in any of them. one of the baskets was starbucks. i chose this specific basket because it contained coffee mugs that were a chocolate color rather than white. however, when it arrived, the mugs were white. i would have gotten more for my money by going through starbucks.
the only positive thing about this experience was that it arrived on time all in one piece. this was a HUGE disappointment!

Didn't ship my order until 5 days after I ordered it, causing it to miss Christmas delivery. Their staff doesn't have up to date UPS tracking info, and in fact, argued with me on the phone about its ship status when I had the UPS website in front of me and had called UPS to find indeed, the package would arrive late. The said when they called UPS, they were 'closed'. UPS is open 24/7 and I had just hung up with them 5 mins. earlier. Instead of calling UPS and changing to overnite delivery, they would rather refund my $50, pay for the shipping by UPS and pay their vender who shipped the item. Wouldn't it have made more sense for them to pay another $10 to upgrade my shipping and keep me as a future customer ?

Do not order from this place..They promise items will be there at a certian time, but they will not. I ordered several gift baskets from them for Christmas and not all will get there by Christmas now. I called their customer service and that was of no help. They said they could ship another basket to make sure it will get there on time which was equivalent to the one that I ordered, but they could not tell me which basket it was because they had no idea what was available.. So how could they state that one that is equivalent will get there on time. When I checked their website to see what was available to go to NY, it was crap..They should have sent it priority since they messed up on the shipping..From the people that did receive it, they were not impressed as well as the goodies were not fresh..

I read reviews about Wine Country Gift Baskets before making my purchase. I read bad review after another, yet Wine Country Gift Baskets had really nice stuff so I decided to try them out.
I'm a very happy customer! I'm glad I did not let the bad reviews stop me from ordering from them! I ordered on Thursday December 10th. They shipped on the 11th. I recieved it today, the 16th.
It looks just as the photo did on their website. I'm sure the recipient will be very pleased with it.

We ordered a gift basket from Wine Country Gift Baskets that met their time frame for Christmas delivery. On first checking their delivery date it showed December 27th. We called the company and they offered a 5% refund. Not much for a late delivery, but better than nothing. We checked again and found that the delivery date has been changed to December 30th. Their website says 24/7 customer service. Try to call outside normal business hours and you will not get anyone. Found another place on their site that lists different hours. We finally got a hold of them and complained about the further delay. We really didn't get much satisfaction from them, but another 5% discount. Not what you would expect when they guarantee Christmas delivery, but with some luck will make it for New Years. Never again will we buy from them. There are other companies that provide much better customer service.

BEWARE! AVOID! Out of 8 baskets ordered at the beginning of December, two were not delivered at all. I got an e-mail saying they had been returned by the shipper as undeliverable. Both had been addressed incorrectly by the company even though I checked the order form for addresses twice and checked it again when I got the e-mail sales confirmation. I called their customer service line and eight calls in a row were dropped. This happened again on three more consecutive days. I don't believe they actually have a customer service department. I think they program their system to drop your calls until you get fed up and stop calling them. I am waiting to see if I actually get a refund. I suspect I will have to fight for it.

I received a "Thinking of You" basket from this company. It was horrible! Every item in it was stale. The cookies were powder, the chocolate was misshapen as though it had melted and looked like chalk. And the cheese....YUCK! The only salvageable item was the cutting board and knife. What a waste of almost $30. Customer service was rude and nonexistent. Instead of replacing the basket, they tried to say it was my fault. Huh?

I am a recipient of a gift from winecountrygiftbaskets.com, and I have to say, I am disappointed. The packages were mostly empty and had only a few pieces of candy/cookies. The amounts were so little that they seemed to be sample sizes. The candy was not good and of poor quality.

Do not buy from this company unless you enjoy being bombarded by catalogs. I was put on their catalog mailing list after buying a gift basket - and I've been trying to get off their mailing list for well over two years! I placed an order for a sympathy gift basket (the mother of a co-worker passed away suddenly) on Friday at noon EDT. I paid an extra $36 for Saturday delivery because I knew the family was gathering to make funeral arrangements on that day and location. On Friday afternoon, I received an order confirmation indicating that everything was processed and ready to go.
Then on Monday (the day of the funeral) I received a phone call indicating that the order had never been sent, and they were out of the particular basket I had ordered. Lovely. Now I haven't sent anything to my friend's home or the funeral home, because these clowns don't know how to run their business.
I called and used all the very bad words I learned in the schoolyard. Very cathartic. After about 10 minutes, I convinced them to send the basket overnight (free of charge) plus a letter of apology. Nice, but let's see if they actually do it, and it's not like I can postpone the funeral so they can wait for my basket to arrive.
Save yourself some aggravation and find a competent gift basket company.

Well I am so satisfied with Wine Country I am also having them handle my Mother's Day order. I had tried them for the first time at Easter. I found their website but called to place my order.
I has helped by Kathryn. So charming and nice. She helped me decide which Easter baskets to purchase and was very thorough in placing my order. She took time to tell me of other non-Easter baskets that were just as nice and would have also fit the bill.
She read all the messages that go with the gifts back to me and went over the entire order. I was really confident she cared about my business and took these extra steps to make certain it was correct. I really appreciated her doing this. She did not hurry me off the phone.
The baskets arrived in time for Easter and my kids loved them. Such a great value for the money and they look like they cost 2 times as much. I will be back to order at Mother's Day.

I realize their ratings were not the best in the past, but after an extensive search this was the only company whose baskets I liked.
I decided to order one and see if it would be okay. The basket was amazing and delivered one day earlier than promised.
I received e-mail confirmations when the order was placed, when the order was shipped, and when it was received!
I have ordered three baskets from them and are preparing to order two more today. I really would highly recommend this vendor!

Do not count on your basket being delivered on the date they promise. I ordered three with a promise date of before Christmas; only one made it on time. Even though they all shipped on the 18th, and I spoke with the manager, Micah, who personally promised they would be there for Christmas. They were delivered the 28th. When I called customer service to complain I was on hold for 45 minutes and was then told Micah would call me back (he never did). The baskets were nice, but I would not do business again with a company that is not dependable.
