Us mattress changed the review I wrote for their web site. Even though my purchase went well with no problems, I feel like US Mattress may not be a very trustworthy or honest place to deal with afterall. I wrote that they were not knowlegable about their mattresses and that I could not comment on their customer service since I didn't have any problems (thank goodness!). I also wrote that it took 2-1/2 weeks for my mattress to be delivered. All of these things they left out plus some other comments which I thought would be helpful to others. Now my daughter wants a new mattress and I don't know if I should take another chance ordering with this company. After reading some horrible reviews here, I think I may have just gotten lucky with my purchase. Thank goodness I didn't have any problems. The last thing I want to do is deal with a business that is not open and honest. Why change my review? They should allow all comments, good and bad, to be posted. I can't help it, they just seem shady to me now.

they sell things they dont have in stock and charge your credit card, ordered a office star couch on 5-17-2011 and as of june 23 2011 have not recieved. they just keep bumping up the backorder..they should not sell things they dont have and charge you for something they dont have..Had to put a dispute in with the credit card company to get a refund..I fell a company the advertises merchandise on line to beat the competitions prices should at least have what they advertize. should not have to wait over a month for products. now i have to wait for the dispute which is going to take another month before i can start back at square one and get the couch from another company

My wife and I were looking for a mattress and just like everybody else we took the time to research the best mattress for the best price. US-Mattress always came up. However after reading several reviews we were a little apprehensive and reluctant due to the concerns we had regarding shipping and customer service which were what all the negative reviews were about. I can tell you from personal experience that we have nothing but great praise and positive feedback. It is true we were getting a little nervous as the delivery date drew near and we hadn’t received any updates. I called in and spoke with Roshan (ext. 2229)who told me I would need to call back the next day in order for him to get me an exact delivery date. I think he heard the concern in my voice because after I got off the phone, on his own, without me knowing or asking him to do so, he tracked down my order and personally emailed me the confirmation for a Monday delivery. In my opinion, that is the epitome of customer service.

They were eager to help with placing an order. However, there were significant issues with delivery. First, they made promised overnight delivery which was not honored. Second, the delivery address was completely wrong and I was forced to spend over 1 1/2 hours to fix the issue. Third, US Mattress rep was rude and unprofessional when dealing with this problem and refused to connect me with a supervisor.

What I liked about US Mattress web site was the variety of products and the description of the products. I looked at other web sites offering mattresses and some offered no or very little information about the product. US mattresses offered a very thorough product description even explaining some of the terminology. I am very disappointed in the shipping arrangement. When I called US mattress to inquire about the shipping the CSR was very friendly and helpful, but as yet we still have not received the product and when my husband called the shipping agent he could not get a straight answer from them.Because of the problems wtih shipping I would hesitate to use this site again.

Shopping was a great experience. Delivery service is awful. I timed the purchase so delivery would occur at a good time for me. No contact from delivery service (Pacific Storage). US-Mattress followed up for me. Said delivery service had tried to contact me; not true. They had a bizarre phone number, one I never submitted online. Very unwilling to make up for this mistake. Still waiting for a delivery date. Now running into travel conflicts.

There are some things that should not be purchased on the internet. Mattresses are one of them. I did not do enough research and found this out too late. People and sites talk about equivalents and the same mattress being sold under many different names by different retailers. Most of the internet sites sell a cheap or dated version of the mattress sold in stores, and the savings if any are inconsequential, especially if you are unhappy with the product when it arrives, because it is not returnable. The 2010 Stearns and Foster mattress has intelicoils which are a spring within a spring and a queen size should have 800-850 springs. The mattresses sold on the internet have 600 single coil springs. They are nothing like the mattresses sold in stores. I place most of the blame on Stearns and Foster as they are the ones who put their name and reputation on the line by manufacturing two grades of mattresses and using dozens of names. They are doing a disservice to their customers.
The only way you can be sure you are going to get a mattress you are happy with is to lay on one in a store and order the mattress from that store. I would never order another mattress off the internet. My next purchase will be from a local store. Mattress Firm has current models for the same price as the internet, and you can try them out before buying. Most department stores have sales a couple times a year where the prices are the same as on the internet for a much better product.

Mattress was out of stock. It took about a week to manufacture. Tracking said in manufacturing & then changed to out for delivery suddenly. Delivery was very prompt with zero problems.
