About 10 days after I placed my order, I received an email asking for photo copies of my Driver's License, front and back of credit card and a backup credit card, and my SSN. Say what? I don't think so. Especially since they had ALREADY CHARGED MY CARD. The order still has not shipped and it has now been 14 days. The item I purchased also seems to have completely disappeared from their website. Hmmm...

ordered plier set and paypal confirmed order, No response from vendor and my card was compromised,Great now I am broke,will not order from here again,scam. card was used in citrus heights, will seek further legally.

Ordered a heavy duty stapler and supplies last Thursday at 2:47 pm CST.  Received Shipping confirmation same day at 3:50 pm.  Received order today (Tuesday).

I ordered 4 chalk reels as seen in the picture posted on their website, the OLD ORIGINAL Straight-Line chalk reel. What I received was 4 new model design chalk reels, which I hate the new design and is the very reason I ordered the 4 old ones as they had advertised in multiple places on their website. I called and was told it was my problem and Toolup.com does not warrant any advertisement based on pictures on their website, model numbers only. I was told I should have researched the model number to have known what the manufacturer currently made under that model number and that they knew some pictures were not accurate.  I was told I could return my order but would not be reimbursed the $6.34 shipping and I would pay the estimated $5 to send it back.  So I would end up losing $11.34 on an order totaling $19.96. WHAT CROOKS.

It is now a month later and they still have the wrong pictures posted. BEWARE!!!

Placed an order and after 3 weeks nothing arrived. Contacted customer service and didn't get a reply. From my credit card statement it looks like they cancelled the order without notice or explaination.

Ordered two products, received one.  No explanation.  Order that I placed indicated $6.37 to ship both items; got charged $9.40 for the one item I received.   I'll use another supplier next time.

As they dont make tools themselves, online companies like toolup only have their customer service to distinguish themselves from others. I would gladly pay a few dollars more to know that a reputable customer service department stands behind customer orders. They were curt, blamed the manufacturer, messed up the return order labels etc.... after sending out a product- milwaukee 28v grinder- that looked like it fell off the back of a truck! It is not worth my time to deal with a company like this even to save what is usually less than 5 dollars.

I placed my first order over a week ago with these people with payment by Paypal. Never received a conformation or communication of any kind. I'm a small contractor looking for a larger vendor base for specialty items. This company appeared at first to be competent for the professional but several email inquires were ignored and phone calls go to voice mail. After looking them up at Epinions.com its was apparent I was wasting my time. There are many, many better choices out there. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

Simply Horrible!  Ordered a set of tools and the tools were defective (manufacuturing error).  The problem with Tool Up is I've contacted them by phone (left message) and by email.  They will not return my call/email.  Never again!!

I never write reviews, but I was so happy with my service at toolup.com I decided that I should! I ordered this on Friday and received it on Thursday, FAST SHIPPING! They kept me fully up to date on the processing of my order and shipment. I would definately shop with this company again!

I ordered a set of Dewalt 14.4 lights, one gooseneck, one flood and a right angle bare tool, no cases or batteries. I placed the order late Thursday night and got an email saying my order had been shipped late Friday UPS ground. The following Wednesday I got my package in. It had the right parts, the right price and everything was new and unused

When you log in to your account at toolup they don't tell you if you were sucessful or not so there is no way to tell if you are logged in except when you try to check out. You also cannot choose your user name or password. They changed my password without notifying me. So it took me half an hour just trying to log in to buy something. When I did manage to make a purchase I received the product I wanted in a reasonable time frame. However, when I opened it it had grease on it indicating it had already been used. Also, they never emailed me a tracking number. I had to go through some shady proceedure to confirm my credit card to receive a tracking number and once I got that number I could not access it again. Way too much effort to buy something online.

Disappointed. Made an order on Sunday, found the order to be canceled on Monday because they couldn't honor the price. Here is a hint: DON'T LIST AND SELL ITEMS AT PRICES THAT YOU AREN'T GOING TO HONOR.

I could have spent that time ordering from a place that wouldn't have done that to me. Won't order from again.

Your company arbitrarily cancelled my order because of credit fouled-up; yet, you intrusively want to know all the detail of my person; it seems to me that you were running a con game; therefore, I have to stop using that credit card. By gone be by gone, but your business practice stink.
