Sent me the wrong product two times in a row for the same order.  Wasted my time having to resend.  They also charged me the wrong amount two times.  Customer service was of no help and offered nothing for their mistakes.  Not a classy operation.  I would suggest shopping elsewhere.

Where to begin.... I was stupid enough to try their shameless bribe and sta on the phone for 45 minutes signing up for all their pushy offers to get it. I made the order on August 30th. I finally got the ortder on Sept. 11th! They had assured me there's be a water pillow to keep them humid in the rediculous 2 week transit. There wsn't they lied. So I tried to return the stale cigars but they wanted $7 to return them and refused to pay for the shipping. After I returned them they never sent me the correct order so I followed up and they finally got sent out on Sept. 27th a month later. But they were wrong again. They sent me the Shameless Bribe II instread of  what I ordered. They may have been around for a while but not for long. I see allot of people wuth the same story. Man this place sucks.

I placeordered place a $40 order with Thompson Cigar and was double billed on my Pay Pal account. After several calls to their "customer service" service department, it is clear they have no intention of returning the money they stole from me.  These people are thieves disguising themselves as cigar vendors.

Not a good choice if you need cigars in a timely fashion.  I paid extra to receive the order in 3 business days, but after 4 business days and 1 non-business day, no cigars.  This store maybe ok for casual ordering, but dont pay extra for shipping or depend on these guys to get your order to you before an important date.

Although the on-line store allows you to purchase items the real problem happens after the purchase.  That is if you don't care how long it takes to get your order, well then good for you.  They say it's 7 days shipping, but if they would process the orders sooner it just might arrive quicker.  I completed their survey letting them know about this, and well now my last order from 7/5/11 was processed 7/8/11 and probably won't see my door for another week!

I ordered some Rocky Patel 2008 Autumn Salomons from their outlet store from an email offer of buy 2 offers and get 1 free. I opted for 2 10 stick offers and was supposed to get the 3rd offer free. They had advertised a ship date of 2-1-11. After ordering, the phone began ringing endlessly and I finally googled the # to see it was Thompson's. They left a msg on the 5th call, saying they wouldn't be able to ship the cigars until the 1st of March. I called CS and they said they were BO'd because they were being made. WAIT A SEC! These are 2008's! They DO NOT make these anymore. Once they're gone, they're gone I explained to her. She wanted me to take some other samplers or offers and I refused. So, I asked her to cancel the order. They did cancel it so they did their job on that. But, they shouldn't be advertising sticks for sale that they KNOW are not available and then try to switch you to something you didn't order. This bait and switch assures me that I'll NEVER order from them again.

This company practices false advertising. They will show a picture of a box of cigars when in fact selling you a 'bundle' of usually a lot less in quantity than pictured. They also claim they are selling you a ring size of 50 but ship a 36 --- and then expect you to pay the shipping upon return.

DO NOT order from this company!   On Saturday, I entered an online coupon code (that was accepted) and when I got near the end of my order I noticed that my discount was not showing up.  I called Thompson Cigar and they told me that I had to finish the transaction before the discount would show up.  After I put my credit card information in and completed the order, another page popped up with a 3rd party sales offer.  Only after I placed my order, did I find out that I could not get the discount unless I gave this 3rd party my credit card info so they could sell me something I did not want. I made another phone call to Thompson Cigar and they told me they would modify my account to reflect the discount. Monday, I got a call from Thompson's customer service telling me that they will not honor the discount and I could not cancel because part of my order had just shipped. We will NEVER order from Thompson Cigar again.

ordered cigars got them they had mold all over them. then want to charge me for return shipping. what a joke there mistake & i got to pay wow. they edit or dont even post reviews on there site.i have seen reviews on other online stores & they post every review good or bad even ones that put down there store  now thats fair they would go out of business if they had to pay all the return shipping but at the same time it would make them a better company by selling true non defective products sold as described . i also found there sale items higher then most sites normal price so what sale? i have alot of cigars in my humidor witch is a big built in china closet converted have a bunch of $2-$5 cigars and even more $6-$30 cigars so i am not a person that smokes just the name brand high dollar cigars i go by the cigar & how it smokes not the name or price so i try alot of cigars.

This place backordered my product, then offered an exchange charging my checking twice including shipping on the second charge (which was free in the first place). Then wouldn't refund it, finally did refund the wrong one, and won't reply to my emails. DON'T BUY FROM THEM!!!

I signed up for the 250 club and ordered 10 CAO Brazilia's. It was supposed to ship Monday and arrive friday. Saturday I still had no cigars, went on the website to the live support and they told me the cigars were backordered and wouldn't ship for a few weeks. They had all my contact information and never bothered to even let me know there was a problem... at least when you go into a store in person they can't try to pull the wool over your eyes like that. I'll stick with my local shop.

I just recieved my first order from Thompson Cigars and all I can say is that I am VERY pleased with both the shipping and quality of the cigars I ordered. I see the other reviews on here about this and that. I dont know maybe things have changed or they went through a bad stretch. I ordered the BACCHUS CHURCHILL MADURO 7"x50(25)WITH FREE PROMO BUNDLE MADURO CHURCHILLS 7"x50(20) $49.99! 45 total cigars!  I hope they keep these in stock because all I can say is WOW! GREAT smoking cigar. Well packaged, Nice maduro wrapper with very few veins. Nice even burn with tight ash. Did I mention I LOVE THIS CIGAR. These Bacchus will stay stocked in my humidor. They smoke like a much higher priced cigar.

Ordered a bundle of Leon Jimenes Seconds.  Seemed like a good deal.  It turns out that they did not have what I ordered, and they sent a completely different item.  Different size, different tobacco, different wrapper.  Never called me to discuss.  The customer service rep was pushy when I called to complain.  Said they must have been out of the itme I ordered, and sent me a longer cigar, therefore a better value for me. 

I want nothing to do with this.  I sent the order back, but they are trying to tell me I am responsible for return shipping.

I am disputing the transaction with the credit card company to get a complete refund.

I bought a "giftset" which was Product #935448 - Ultimate Deluxe Boutique Combo of 12. The picture on the website showed the item in a black see-through gift box and there was no disclaimer that the box was not included in the purchase. I bought this under the assumption that it would come to me this way. Unfortunately when it finally arrived, the box was missing, the cigars were lose and badly wrapped in plastic. Overall, the whole thing look so damn cheap. I called customer service and after getting the roundabout and no apology, she told me to pay for my own shipping back to them and they'll credit my account. I told them I didn't want to spend on shipping and all I really wanted was a box as shown in the picture so that I can give this for Xmas. They said the box was only for show and they couldn't send it to me. I find this blatantly a case of false-advertising. I'm planning to give away these cigars to my office mates and they can tell me if these cigars are even authentic or not. Look for my updates.

I ordered some items from Thompson, shipping was slower than some other retailers but I didn't mind too much. The same day I get the items they call my house pushing me to enroll in some club to have cigars automatically shipped at interval. I reluctantly try after being assured I can cancel at any time. After getting their packet and reading it over I decide it's not for me and call to cancel my enrollment. The customer rep was just as pushy, and after I politely stated I simply wished to cancel my enrollment in the club program, he became downright rude and insulting. They will never get another dime from me, and some coworkers have also decided to take their business elsewhere after their own bad experience with Thompson's sales and customer service practices.

they're slow, they lie, they promise and don't deliver. We were promised delivery by Christmas, tried to check several times, were told order shipped on the 18th (it didn't) could not get a straight answer. It is the 26th and they said the order shipped TODAY so of course they couldn't cancel it, sorry if someone gave us bad info. But we could return it and we could get a full refund. You had me worried.This was my first time ordering with thompson. I placed a order online about 4 days ago then read reviews about the company today. I noticed alot of bad bad reviews that made me start to worry. I ordererd one sampler and the combo deal. One had regular shipping and the other had 3-5 day shipping. Well i called them today and had GREAT customer service nad they told me they WONT send a combo deal unless everything is in it and it is ON IT WAY and the sampler was also already shipped. it was alot of weight off my sholders. I think i know the problom with some bad reviews with some companys... if your really rude to customer service there is a chance they will be rude back or maybe screw up ur order...iv worked on a phone for a 8 hour shift before and its not fun. treat others as u wish to be treated. Or else im just lucky :)

A family member sent me Romeo and Julieta package deal as a gift that included a decorative jar and 20 tubo cigars. When I received it, 19 of the 20 cigars were molded and were not the size of cigar that were ordered. I wanted to exchange the item, and called customer service. The agent was rude. I complied with the exchange instructions contained in the package and with what the customer service rep told me to do. When I later called to check on the status of the exchange, I found out that the gift giver got a credit to her card instead. After two more calls to customer service that told me two different things, I gave up. Me experience with this company can be summarized to this - if a company's customer service doesn't know the job and doesn't care about customers, I won't be one.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, THEY HELD UP MY $400 ORDER FOR 3 WEEKS DUE TO A SHIPPING CHARGE DISCREPENCY ON THOMPSON'S PART! Inexperienced sales reps and solicited on phone calls at home at all hours of the day and night! I shop at Bestcigarsintheworld.com now and they are fantastic. They beat Thompson's prices by up to 60% and Free shipping was included
