We had recently received our Order of the Lumina FLO table lamp in Orange. What a beatuiful product. We had waited for a few weeks to receive it since the colored models are usually not in stock and need to be special ordered from Italy.

After 5 weeks of waiting we are pleased to say that the lamps is AWESOME. absolutly fabulous. It arrived well packaged and in A1 condition. Most likley we will be placing another order for teh Floor lamp that can go into the living room next week. Thank you for the great service.

We had custom orderd some Jielde Augustin and Signal Wall lamps for a contract job up here in Seatle. The client wanted to see the fixture before ordering a large quantity of light fixtures. Surrouding was very helpful in getting us a sample, it was in a diferent color but it really pleased the client to see the product first hand before making a decision on ordering it. You guys have been very helpful in making our client happy. Thank you so much should we come across some other projects for where the client is looking for some cool french industrial lamps we will certain be in touch.

Thank you again for the recommendation on the mounting plate requirement and getting those special ordered to match the color of the fixture.  We have also contacted the electrical installer who had recieved your information on how to install the fixtures correctly that has been very helpful as well. Once the project is completed we will certainly post some pictures on facebook and share the intallation of the pendant and wall sconces. The Restaurant is due to open next month.

Liar Liar Liar !!

I initially orderd from sorrounding 4 months prior and the guy said he had 2 in stock so I paid f or 2.

Then he sent me an email the same day saying, oops, they have been sold. He said it would take 4-6 weeks so I said, cancel one and keep the other on order.

From there it was one excuse after another, for another 3 months.

Finally I got upset, like REALLY upset!

And they said "why don't you call the manufacturer yourself";  later claiming the manufacturer  had shipped it and they broke enroute.

Plus they never answer thier phone.

Don't waste your time with these idiots.

Quick delivery on the Lumina Daphine Floor Lamp, it was hard to find but a beautiful products. The Lamp was well packaged adn recommended by the sales staff.  
Great floor lamp, love the dimmer options and will consider the Table lamp as well.

We had ordered the several products from this store, everything arrived on time and in good condition. Once of the Oluce fixtures arrived damaged and they where able to get a replacement shipped out a few weeks later since it had to come from Italy. The LED recessed lights are fantastic product we hope there will be an outdoor version available in the near future.

Look forward to getting some additional bedroom reading lamps. Any recommendations?

The item arrived about 1 month late and I had to spend a lot of time to address problems, essentially the multiple delays and difficulties with the actual delivery. There is no way to speak with someone as any call to their "phone number" is greeted with voice-mail and a request to use e-mail to contact them. They had my table shipped directly from the manufacturer and thus were of little help with the problems in delivery etc. The item was in good condition and I am glad this is over...

If you can spare the extra $$$ and your time is precious, use a more reputed site.

French Zig Zag Floor what a gorgeous beautiful floor lamp. Surrounding had this Orange unit in stock and we love it. These are truly great design from the 50's.  Thank you for the quick delivery it was right on time for the big birthday party and it looks stunning in the living room.

We have a few M2 Marshmellow in the backyard from Lebello, They are fantastic looking we get lots of compliments when we entertain our guest a very fun and playful design works great for sitting around the fire pit.  We will be ordering some additional ones for our holiday home in Florida.  Thanks for the recommendation

It took over 3 months to order this Noguchi floor lamp. We where almost ready to give up the wait but we are happy that we did hang in there for the extra weeks.  !! The lamp is beautiful and looks amazing in our living room. Good to know that we can order just a replacement shade as well.

We received the Jielde Lights for a seond time at Surrounding they where able to delivery the products on time as promised. These lamps are made in france and come in many different colors based on the custom color that we had chosen.

They are such a beautiful product, we love the zig zag floor and the Signal wall lamps. We think of them as Icons of modern industrial design.  The lamps arrived and they are beautifulll !!! The packaging on some of the floor lamps could be better, but I guess they have been packging these lamps over there for 40 years the same way.
Our favorite color is propably the Orange and Sky Blue, or perhabs one of each might do the trick. In the Kitchen we had installed the LOFT DX wall spots in White to match the kitchen tiles and they look stunning.

This guy shows and retails the real product online and then sells you fakes.

He does this ALL THE TIME with our product and we only find out when the crappy chinese made stuff fails and the customers call us to complain.

A very nice product collection, we where looking for a pendant light for a contract project that went over the island kitchen. The orginal lighting design specs where not available which where provided by the design team.

trying to find the right product with so many lighting options, the customer service team was very well equipment in making the recommendation for some other pendant from Fontana Arte which really worked very well for the project.  The product knowledge of the sales team is pretty nice, they really understood the design problem and where able to make some really amazing recommendations which gave us the right options to present back to the client.  Client was happy !!.  We will be back for some other projects... thanks again.. Great Selection of LED Lights, Very helful sales person who advised on installation and tips. Would purchase from this store again since they had good shipping time and a good delivery time frame which meet our contractors deadline.

Fast response to pre and post sale emails, however their website is hopelessly out-of-date and they seem to have no idea how to update it. For example.. the "in stock" classification is meaningless - they keep virtually nothing in stock, it's mostly ordered from the manufacturer.. and there's entire ranges on their website that they haven't been able to obtain for months.

Also.. on my last order, they charged my card, and *then* told me the items I'd ordered had been discontinued!

We recently purchased some Modern pendants from Surrounding.com
most other vendors did not have them in stock. But the guys at surrounding had the fixtures airshipped in for us from Italy to get our project completed on time. They are extremly product knowledable and really know there stuff.
We can only recommend them over and over again.

We recently ordered from them some Foscarini Buds pendants for our office. One of the glass pieces arrived damaged which we got delivered with UPS. We reported the damaged to the customer service team at surrounding. After they had pulled up order they had apologized for the damages caused during the shipment. They mentioned that occasionally items like this can get damaged during transit, it does not happen very often but occasionally boxes get stuck in the UPS conveyor belts.

The customer service person on the phone mentioned that they would get a replacement unit send out right away. I was very amazed by there extreme speediness, in helping us get the issue resolved in a very quick and efficient manner. So far we have been very happy with there excellent customer service, especially if an item is so expensive.

From our experience, we look forward to working with them again on another project, since they have a great selection of products, and fantastic product knowledge. They really seem to know there products and there customers.

Have purchased many products from Surrounding, Product delivery and custom orders have always been perfect. High recommended for the experience lighting and furniture buyer.
