I ordered a pair of shoes through Shoes.com using a promotional discount that was advertised on this site. Although the company claims that they ship orders and post tracking information in 3 days, it has been 5 days since I placed the order, and it apparently still has not shipped. Customer service is completely nonresponsive to my email inquiries about my order status. (I chose to contact them via email so I'd have a record of our correspondence, after reading about other customers' experiences with receiving misinformation on the phone.) However, Shoes.com HAS already charged my credit card for my as-yet-unshipped item. Pretty shady. Go with one of the many other online sellers with sound business practices.

I unfortunately had a really bad experiance at my first and last purchase at shoes.com. I purchased three pairs of shoes online in 2006 and needed to exchange them for a smaller size. I returned/echanged with the lable provided and they never recieved them. I followed up a couple times through out the year and they could not find the return till this day. I followed up to find out what they can do to help me and all they said was "without a receipt that I returned them, they can not do anything to help me." I find that to be very wrong for a company that deal with shipping all the time.
They also were not able to do any acomodations to keep me as a customer. SO LOOONG.

I shopped shoes.com in 2010 for a special occasion but had to return most of the shoes I ordered.  There were 5 or 6 orders within a 5 week period.  Shoes were always returned immediately with reason being too large.  I wear a 4 or 4.5, sometime 5 with my orthotic.  Most of these shoes were 5's.  So,,, 18 months later, in 2012, I ordered one pair of sandals.  Only one pair in 18 months.  They cancelled my order using the reason that there had been excessive returns in a 12 month period.  The 'excessive' was never quantified.  In the 18 months since the 2010 orders, I received emails every week from shoes.com with offers and promos.  Emails were traded back and forth with customer service, but they always stated they were sorry about my frustration but policy is policy:  I had too many shoe returns.  There seemed no attempt to understand the individual situation and treat the customer with some respect.  I'll always use ZAPPOS!  Never again shoes.com.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM- they sent me a pair of shoes that had clearly been worn before. I contacted customer service for either a discount or return. They said I have to return the order and place a new order. Problem is, I bought these w/ a coupon offer. They want me to pay for for shoes that they messed up. Pay a few bucks more and go to another site!

Saga continues, I finally got them to agree to give me the same price, then they are out of my size in the shoe. I can't even exchnge them now.

I am not a happy customer, will use Zappos from now on.  I ordered a pair of boots two months ago and they turned out to be too big.  I missed the 60 day return window because I just had a baby and literally had zero time to do anything.  I thought I could exchange them, then I find out that they do not accept exchanges!  WTF!!  What business does not accept exchanges???!!!  That's just ridiculous.  I will not be ordering from them again in the future.

TERRIBLE Customer Service...  I was trying to buy the sought after animal print Sperry Angelfish girls shoes for my niece's birthday.  I found a great price here and decided to buy.  I order the shoes and then get an email some time later that their "audit review team" cancelled my order.   I call my credit card company and they have no idea why the transaction was cancelled.  I give shoes.com the benefit of the doubt and place another order for the same shoe.  Once again a few days later I get an email stating the order is cancelled and again I call the credit card company.  Apparently shoes.com did not like the phone number I put on the order.  Are you kidding me??  Now the shoes are no longer available anywhere and it is two weeks past my niece's birthday and she has nothing.  FAIL!

What a ripoff this company is. Save yourself the aggravation of dealing with their horrible customer service, and instead order from Zappos.com or onlineshoes.com,who have a liberal 365 day return policy. This company gave me the worst customer care I have ever dealt with in all my online shopping. Buyer beware of this company...

I tried ordering the same pair of shoes twice. The first time I received a confusing email. It was confusing because it was telling me that I had sent an inquiry into my order (which I hadn't) and that the order problem would be resolved soon. I never heard anything else, so I finally called shoes.com and the sales agent told me my order had been cancelled. I would have never found this out if I hadn't called them! Luckily, my credit card was never billed.

The agent was friendly and professional, I'll give them that much. She gave me a discount promotional code so I could try to reorder the shoes again with $10 off the price. Which I did. After my second order, I got a confirmation email stating I would get a second email when my order was completed, which never came.

I just sent them one more email today letting them know that I am disappointed with their customer communications and customer service.

I have now given up on shoes.com and went straight to the brand manufacturer's website to order the shoes.

This experience has been frustrating enough that I will never try to order from shoes.com again.

I ordered Kenneth Cole size 3 shoes for my daughter for Christmas and when their shipment finally arrived I received Ben Sherman size 10 adult shoes. What the hell?? That isn't even close. How does a shoe store make that big of a blunder? They were the ugliest pair of shoes I've ever seen! When I called them about the screw up, they wanted to charge me a second time to send me the shoes I originally ordered, otherwise I would not get them in time for Christmas. I did find the same shoe from Kenneth Cole and saved $18.00 and they sent them in time with standard shipping for the holidays! I was informed of my credit for the return by email from Shoes.com with no concern for corrective action or my continued business with them. I will never buy from them again!!! Don't waste your time on these idiots!!!

Return process is horrible and so is their service.  I bought a pair of Uggs that were torn at the seem after ONE MONTH.  NO RETURN! They review it and send it back to you. Go to Zappos.

Not only that, but the customer representative highlighted the word "unworn" even after the word was highlighted originally in the document. I have shopped at Shoes.com for at least 4 years and until now have been very satisfied with their service, shoes and shipping and return policies.
Today, I ordered a pair of shoes and was declined due to their "NEW EXCESSIVE RETURN POLICY".
Turns out, that this past year I ordered 11 orders of shoes in which I only kept 6 of the orders. The point of online shopping and free return and shipping was to be that one could order shoes, try them on at home and return them if they did not fit. Being that I kept half of the orders that amounted up to over 600.00$ and always promptly returned the ones that did not work immediately without wearing them, would, to me, seem only fair when making a purchase.
Be aware that Shoes.Com does not  want you to make any returns when you are purchasing from them.
Rather, instead, ZAPPOS.COM continues to honor their shipping and returns policy and works hard to continue to have your business.

We ordered 4 pairs and had them shipped to Australia. All sounded straight forward until 3 of the 4 turned out to be wrong shoes, brands altogether. Apparently the right shoes went to a different address in a different country.
The nightmare of returning and rectifying Shoes.com's error is unbelievable! They finally agered if/when we ship the goods back at our expense and have said we need to pay shipping again! After sending the goods back (at our expense) they've still not acknowledged receipt of the goods.
Be very wary of Shoes.com if you're outside of the USA.

I ordered my shoes on a Friday evening.  4 days later I still haven't received an email confirming shipment. They have however taken the money from my bank account.  I call and completely get the run around telling me that they can't tell me whether they have been shipped or not.  They tell me to wait a few more days and see if a tracking number shows up in my account.  The customer service department was not rude but completely unwilling to help.  I hope I receive the shoes soon but even so I will not be shopping with them again. I will go back to zappos.com.

I ordered 6 pairs and received 5 pairs after 5 days with no information about the 6th one. I had to call to find out that they did not know why either ??????? I was told by a nice representative that I will be contacted by phone the next morning with information which never happened. I had had to call myself to find out that they were waiting for a reply from the warehouse. Customer service representative was uncaring and wanted me to wait another to 24hours to find out why my order didn't ship!!! After insisting, I spoke to the supervisor who received an e-mail from the warehouse saying that the order never shipped and they did not know why. Amazing, isn't it?

Shoes.com has (without a doubt) the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They will tell you they will match the low price but they don't explain this guarantee is only for certain shoes (not all of them). I called within an hour of my purchase to tell them I found my items for considerably less. I was put on hold by the phone prompt system and had to wait on hold for 45 minutes. The agent told me the order was alread at the warehouse and could not be stopped. Of course the order didn't ship for another 3 days. I sent the order back and after 2 weeks, I still have not heard anything from them. I tried to call customer service again but after 20 minutes on hold I gave up. Go to Zappos.com or anywhere else for shoes. Don't shop at shoes.com unless you really like poor service and high prices.

Do not buy from this horrible company w/ horrible employees.  Shipping times are ridiculously slow and the word of the day in CS and Sales is "unfortunately"...that is, IF you are able to get through.  Waited once for over 43 minutes before receiving a busy signal.  Again, Do Not Buy From Shoes.com.  One representative hung up on me without reason.  Said I was "cursing" at her for saying "What the heck am I supposed to do to resolve this?"  Apparently that was her excuse to hang up on me and talk to the next dissatisfied customer.  By far my worst on-line buying experience and I've had a few.

It took two days before shoes.com shipped my order, and 9 days to receive it in the continental U.S. Their website and receipt both stated to allow 5-7 days for shipping. I would strongly advise consumers not to deal with companies that only use UPS, because UPS is the worst (and most careless) shipping company on earth. I have received packages from Europe and the far east in half the time that this took.

The shoes that I ordered were placed on sale less than 12 hours after I ordered them. The company refused to honor the discounted price and were quite rude about it. When I told them I would no longer be shopping with them, the agent stated they had plenty of customers and did not care.
