I wanted to order the wedding couple photo stand in for my wedding. I was told by the customer service Department that with this order you can not change the skin color of the bride or groom. I was also told I could not even special order a stand in with a white bride and black groom. I not only find this to be extremely poor customer service but also racist and despicable.

Ordering from Shindigz was generally a good experience. I needed to get some photo frames for an event. The online tool made it easy for me to customize. I did so by adding customized text that was specific to my event. I got the frames at a very good price, too, which I was very happy about. Didn't cost extra to customize. Product arrived when expected, so there were no surprises there. When I had a question about the product, they provided very good customer service during an online chat. Overall, I was very pleased with my photo frame purchase.

I purchased a vinyl banner for my daughter's birthday party.  I was a bit skeptical at first because the price was so low. I was relieved when I received the banner. The quality of this banner was great and it only took 2 days to receive the banner in the mail.  Great customer service, great quality, will shop again!

I ordered a cake topper & paid for UPS Ground express shipping which was supposed to deliver my order in 3 to 5 business days. the item.i ordeted I needed for the next week. after a week of checking & tracking my order, it says it was delivered by the USPS. I chose shindigz bc they use UPS which guarantees delivery..with UPS you need a signature for delivery. shindigz opted to finalize delivery using the USPS & I never revieved my item! this option to use usps saves shindigz money rather than them spending the $ I paid to use UPS. now noone has any idea where my package is! I am very upset. had they followed through w UPS, I would know where my item is.

BEWARE.  If items are out of stock, you may get 8 plates when you ordered 24, and they'll tell you it's your problem that you don't have a matching set and not enough supplies for all the kids.  Hah -- who wants a mismatched party set?  It's like getting half a suit.  Customer service is TERRIBLE.  I called within a few hours of getting an email that there weren't enough plates, and told them to cancel the order, but they told me they would ship anyway and I'd just have to pay for return shipping if I wanted a refund.  I called AmEx to cancel (I LOVE AmEx since they're so customer friendly) and was told ShindigZ hasn't posted the charge which likely means they haven't shipped yet.  So Lana and the rest of ShindigZ customer service could have pulled this order.  BEWARE so you don't have this headache!  Who needs a partial order?

Caution!  TWO seperate orders screwed up! 

Ordered custom cups for a graduation party.  Maroon and Gold - recieved Maroon and ORANGE.  When speaking to customer service they said I can re-order but would need to pay over $50 to receive in time for the event. 


Also ordered custom champagne glasses for my father's 80th SURPRISE birthday party.  Recieved confirmation and shipment notification, though never received the glasses.  Took 4 days for customer representatives to find out they never shipped.  Wouldn't expedite to receive in time for the party although the acknowledged their mess up.  Stated it was "corporate policy" not to expedite shipment.  "Sorry"  

I Love Shindigz.com! After reading alot of negative reviews regarding the shipping speed i was a bit skeptical on ordering from them. Just Placed my first order of about 100 worth of merchandise and saves tons of money compared to other sites i was looking at (orientaltrading.com, birthdayexpress.com and amazon.com)
I order on Feb, 27 2012 and my order arrived today March, 2 2012! I live in nyc and there shipping from indiana so it was pretty quick! All my merchandise was packaged well and im really pleased with the quality of it all! I picked out decorations for a pirate party theme for my soon to be 3 year old and couldnt be any more happier! I would definitely order from here again!

I ordered over $200 of products for my daughter's sweet 16 party.  When I recieved my order just a few days before the event, I was surprised to find that half of the order was missing.  I called customer service and asked if they were shipping it separately or if they just weren't shipped. The customer service agent was VERY rude and kept insisting that she needed item numbers to re-order and re-ship the product although they were not all listed on my packing slip but they were on my receipt. She even tried to tell me that I had only paid for 5 of a particular item when the invoice clearly showed 6.   She acted like I had done something wrong rather than her company.  When I checked the invoice for the items that she re-shipped, I found that there were items still missing.  Now I am very frustrated, wondering if I will even get the re-shipped items in time for the party. I am tempted to contact my credit card company and do a charge back due to all of the hassle. I would not advise anyone to shop with this company. STEER CLEAR OF SHINDIGZ!!!!

AMAZING! Their product is very unique and easy to use. The banner I ordered for my grandson's bedroom wall was perfect. I searched everywhere for a name plate or something to put on the wall. The operator suggested their attach-n-go create-a-banner. I was able to create a banner with my grandson's name on it and make it look like it came right out of the Toy Story catalog. Great color and pattern options let me be very creative but made it simple to do. WOW! What an awesome place to shop!

I ordered a lifesize photo standee for my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary celebration. I sent in a very old photo from their wedding day, hoping the quality would look decent when it was printed at 8' tall. I received the order within a week and the print was awesome, better than expected! It was the hit of the party, everyone commented on it! And now my grandma has her "statue" sitting in her spare room. Thanks to Shindigz for making a special memory even better!

In Sept 2008 I ordered Transformer Cookie Coloring Kit for my Grandson's 4th birthday. As if someone were watching over the kids, we forgot to put out the cookies at the party. Imagine our horror when the next day we looked to see how long the double order of cookies would last and saw that the cookies expired on NOVEMBER 1, 2005. Be very careful if you are ordering any food product from this site. They do not check their dates before shipping. Thank you to whoever was watching from above to keep our little ones safe.

It took myself and one other person about four hours to construct these two items. Given the price, more pre-construction could have been done at the factory ... for example, pre-cutting paper instead of the purchaser having to do it.

Products, especially the 4th of July decorative cake, were poorly designed. The bottom tier of the cake collapsed simply from the weight of the upper tiers, and the cake was constructed exactly as the instructions described. Three of the candles which came with the cake were broken on arrival. Parts of both items were not measured correctly, and had to be cut/reformed with scissors.

Nearly every part of the decorations is connected to the other parts with very strong adhesive tape, guaranteeing that there'll be ripping if you try to deconstruct the decorations for storage (and for the price you pay, you'll be thinking you want to save them for next year). Even when the overall decoration is deconstructed, the individual parts that can't be deconstructed are still huge ... you'll have a hard time finding space to store them.
