the experience is always easy but I have found, as in this case, that the item's description makes me jump to the purchase. However, when I received the earrings, they did not look expensive, and they were much too heavy to wear, and I returned them. It's an expensive lesson, and I will take it to heart.

I had several good experiences. I was looking for a pair of diamond earrings with a secure clasp. I am short, so it was difficult to find earrings that would fall below the earlobe, but not overpower my face. It took three tries, with two pair of earrings being returned -- a very easy process. I had had difficulty ordering my sapphire ring on line and had to call the company to complete the order in time to get a 25% discount offered during a promotion. The people in customer relations were wonderful, helping me to complete the order and clearing up a problem with Bill Me Later so that I put in the order in time. The ring was delivered in two days. Both of these pieces of jewelry are gorgeous and will be treasured for many years to come.

I am not pleased with the necklaces. 1 was supposed to be 16", but was only 15 1/2. The other was supposed to be 18", but was 17 1/2. Now I have to pay to send back something that was not as I had ordered.

My Ross-Simons credit card had expired, but I tried to use it anyway. The order computer didn't catch it, but the credit card company did and notified Ross-Simons, who called me. I used another credit card and the order was placed successfully.

I wrote the wrong address number. called back the next day and gave the correct number. was told would be shipped to the corrected address. was not shipped to that address but delivered to the post office and then transferred to another post office. very sad I had to tract the package down.

I have always had a good experience when shopping at Ross-Simons. This was no exception with an easy-to-use website to make the purchase and timely delivery. However, with this particular order I did not receive a shipping notification email. Since my merchandise arrived promptly, there was no issue but I am unable to answer #5.

clarification - product was not on time because they took a larger size ring and cut it down, excellent customer service I was very impressed. On a bad note I do believe Ross-Simons should lower their shipping rate limit from $250 to at least $50-$75, free shipping limit is way too high. thank you, Maureen Priddy

I paid for expedited shipping and did not receive the product on time for Mother's Day. When I followed up on Sunday, the customer service person said the delay was due to gift wrapping, and that she would refund the expedited shipping charge. On Monday, I received an email about the credit card issue. We resolved the issue immediately and was told the product would ship that day, and be delivered the next day. It wasn't shipped until the next day and received two days later, i.e. Wednesday. Although the credit card issue was not the merchant's fault. The customer service person exacerbated the delay.

I have long been a Ross-Simons customer and always have good experiences with their website, prices, and customer service. One item I ordered in on backorder so that is unfortunate but it was listed as out of stock in the website when I placed the order so there were no suprises in the delay. It is difficult to fully "see" jewely when you order it online and the times I have had to make returns it has always been easy to do.

The necklace was very nice. However,the necklace arrived late and was simply dumped into a cloth bag. As a result, it was tangled up in a ball and required considerable effort to untangle. Why not ship such an item in an appropriate box, designed to hold a necklace.
The earrings were out of stock, back-ordered and still have not arrived. Nor have I received any subsequent notice of its current status.

I have been shopping with Ross-imons for years. I started at their briks-and-mortar store in Rhode Island. This is a first-rate jeweler with an excellent reputation. I'm never disappointed with their service.

My earrings came quickly, were at a good price and were of the quality and design I expected. Very happy with the service and them. The stool requires a 6-8 week time frame since it is personalized, so I have not received it yet.

I purchase a sterling silver bead necklace and buckle ring; my items were shipped and received at the post office - the post office claim they delivered my package on 4/25/13. I called the merchant and was told I had to wait to May 9 to put a claim in for my purchase - these items were Mother's Day gifts. This happen one time before and immediately Ross-Simons shipped out a second order via UPS - not USPS and i recieved it with no problems. Waiting for May 9th defeats the purpose of these items being gifts for Mother's Day.

Purchase and delivery went well. I am returning the ring for exchange. The sizing appears to be off on this particular ring. The size 9 I believe is small. have exchanged for a size 10

Excellent job in handling the order and delivery, but I was disappointed in the quality of the merchandise. The necklace broke the first time I wore it. Both the necklace and the bracelet have a flimsy, cheap feel. The bracelet hook is almost impossible to manipulate with one hand. I will think long and hard before placing another order with Ross-Simons.

Sent back item only because it was different than I was hoping for, having seen a similar necklace while on vacation that my wife loved . But the service and experience were fine
