Terrible customer service. I have bought many appliances at PC Richards; stove, microwave,diswasher and refrigerator. The $1700.refrigerator is defective- has stopped working twce in 4 years) I bought the 150 service contract but it is terrible. Waiting 3 days for even a call back- again I have lost hundreds of dollars of food. So disappointed. HOW AND WHY DO THEY STAY IN BUSINESS.

Do not purchase any appliances from PC Richards. They do not service their appliances on a timely basis. I purchased the top of the line electrolux dryer and I had to wait a week for service. At that time, I was told the problem could be one of two things but since both fixes were expensive, they would only do ONE at a time, rather than fix both parts. RIDICULOUS! I complained to the store who said they outsourced their service contracts because they were too busy to service all their contracts, but they would send one of their own service providers. However, I would have to then wait another week for their own company, at which time they would first have to order the parts!! OMG!! R-U-N from PC Richards- they are the worst. When I called the manager back to tell him the wait was unreasonable, he hung up on me... very professional- NOT! There are too many who would be happy to have business, these days, so PC Richard can got to hell.

I called P.C. Richard's to buy a 46" LED TV. They had the model I wanted, so I drove over to pick it up. Upon arriving at the store, I was told they would not sell me the TV unless I watched them put it together in their store and sign an agreement that I had seen it put together and it was in good working order. I never had to go through a song and dance just to buy a TV at BestBuy, and I prefered to not have someone else open it up so that I would agree to sign away my ability to return the thing if I found I wasn't happy with it later on. I am not trying to plug bestbuy here, but I felt people ought to know about the P.C. Richard's policy on selling TVs. In my opinion, its ridiculous.

Great prices at the store, TERRIBLE experience after we left. Bought a new washer/dryer, only the washer showed up for delivery. Finally after much argument, the dryer showed up a week later. We had paid for delivery/installation/stacking. They just dropped off the dryer and left. The delivery man did not speak english, and he was not a PC Richards driver. They promised to have someone come out the next day to stack them and hook them up to the gas lines...no one showed up. Terrible customer service and follow up once you leave the store!

These people are awful. Bought a Cabrio dryer 10 months ago at the Yonkers store with a three year service contract.The dryer worked for about 7 months, then broke. Had to wait two and a half weeks to get a service appt. Last month it broke again - with the exact same problem. Waited another two weeks for a service appt. The technician explained that the last repairman had done the job wrong. Three days later the dryer broke again, again with the exact same problem. It will be another two and a half weeks before I can get another service appt, and needless to say, I'm not very confident about this one, either. Awful customer service and shoddy merchandise - wouldn't go back, don't think anyone else should, either.

hands down, the worst customer service i have ever experienced...3 "new" broken machines later, and attitude that included the b-word. run, far far away. there are plenty of other options.

We are very pleased with the customer service we received recently. We purchased two wall unit airconditioners plus installation. When it came time to install them, the installers encountered one problem after another, each adding to the installation charge. We felt we were ripped off and complained. The next morning the regional manager came to our home and reviewed the work, explained the problems and agreed that some of the costs were unnecessary and refunded them. We were happy with the swift way it was handled and the explanations given and that we were refunded some of the costs incurred. The degree of attention our complaint received and the way it was resolved has shown us that maybe at this store, the customer really does matter.

I have bought stuff from PC Richard for 15 years and my parents have been a customer for over 20 years. I always purchase the warranty on items even though I have never used it.
The one time I go to use the warranty they will not honor it because of the circumstances as to the damage to my TV. Having worked in retail for years I know that there are always exceptions to the extended warranty especially for returning customers. Having bought multiple TVs, GPSs, Blu-ray players, cables, TV stands, washers, dryers, dish washers, radar detectors, etc... all with warranties should at least get you some consideration especially when it comes to keeping customers however in this case I keep getting the "Policy states" quote. As someone I work with in the Army told me "Policy is not law!" and something can always be done to keep the customer happy. In this case, it looks like they just lost a long time customer. I'm not looking for miracles but some type of consideration expecially due to the circumstance.

Your website and prices are excellent, my only issue is with the delivery. Both products were supposed to ship within aa day or two. One DID, the other was delayed by more than a week & I received no email about it. The product that DID ship on time, got lost by UPS, I am still waiting on a status updated about it, In the future, I will be more likely to buy directly from a PC RIchards store rather than order online

I found exactly what I was shopping for on the PC Richard's website. I was impressed that they offered no shipping charges compared to the other merchants' sites.
