Due to manufacturing issues at Pfizer, the prescription drug Anipryl (used for Cognitive Disfunction Syndrome in dogs) has limited availability. My regular pet pharmacy could not get the 15mg tablets my dog takes. I searched for 2 days until I found the 15mg tablets avaialble at National Pet Pharmacy. I thought I was very lucky.
1. It took repeated calls to both the vet and NPP until the vet actually received the prescription fax from NPP for approval.
2. Once the approval was received, my CC was charged.
3. My order status still shows as "in process" 8 days after my CC was charged.
4. CSR states my order did ship 4 days ago, even though the status says otherwise.
5. BTW...prescription orders ship USPS, not UPS and can take 7-10 business days. They also ship from a different location (KY). They cannot be tracked. This information is not stated anywhere on their website.
I am now buying an emergency supply of 5mg tablets (that's all they have available) directly from my vet until the order finally arrives.

I ordered flea & tick medication for my two dachshunds from this place and got mutliple stories about when and how my order was shipped. The free shipping offer says "Ground", but be aware, it is the US Postal Service and not UPS Ground (as "Ground" would usually signify). The first time I called, the automated phone system said it shipped UPS, but the tracking number was invalid when entered on the UPS website. Then I called and spoke with a live rep. and she said it shipped via USPS Priority mail, so I asked for the tracking number, and she said they don't get one from USPS, which is not true. So, I asked for an RMA# so I could immeditely return it once it arrives (because my dogs can't wait the quoted 7-10 business days) and she said wait until I receive it and would not give me an RMA#. Rude, arrogant and deceptive! I have ordered from them many times in the past and received UPS Ground shipping, not the postal service snail-mail. I should have read the other reviews before purchasing from them. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM NATIONAL PET PHARMACY AGAIN!

This place is horrible. RUN, do not walk away from them. I set up auto shipping and auto payment. Every month they 'lost" the script and failed to ship the food and also failed to give notice that they had not shipped. I called to complain and was assured they would overnight food to me because it was a holiday and I had no other options. They LIED. The sent the shippment ground and am without food for my dog for the next week! I have to drive out of state so he will eat today. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you expect to feed your animals.

I ordered Lactulose from petscriptions.com and the product was shipped from National Pet Pharmacy but they shipped me the generic which has dyes not contained in the brand name product. When I order the production, the generic was not pictured, rather the brand name was pictured. Petscriptions.com said they couldn't help me with a return because it was shipped from National Pet Pharmacy. National Pet Pharmacy wouldn't let me return it even thought the safety seal was not broken. They claim it is against the law per the FDA which I find hard to believe because I have returned a prescription in the past for my son because I didn't want the generic.

I placed an order for 12 cases of cat food with National Pet Pharmacy. The order was delivered on time and accurately. However, of the 192 cans, 16 were damaged. I called Customer Service and I am exceedingly happy with the result. I was offered a replacement of 2 cases (24 cans) for two of the brands that were damaged and a credit for 5 cans of one of the others. I actually bargained them "down" to just a credit for the actual cans damaged. It's rare to be offered more than the value of your loss. And the customer service representative was outstanding. Kudos to National Pet Pharmacy for understanding the value of good customer service and relations. Not to mention, they provide an awesome selection of cat food.

I would not buy from this company again. I ordered a case of dog food from them, and I received the wrong dog food. After several phone calls and sending back the dog food. They finally credited my credit card. With only the amount of the dog food. They charged me $9.99 for shipping the wrong dog food and never credited my account for the shipping. That was just wrong. I do not recommend this company. It took along time to get this where it is now.

I placed an order for parrot food. The next day, I received an email stating that the items were not in stock, and they did not know when they would be in stock or when they would ship. I tried to cancel the order but could not. The told me I only had 2 hours to cancel an order after placement, even though now I had no idea when I would get my items.

My experience with the National Pet Pharmacy was terrible and time consuming. They lost the prescriptions I had mailed to them, so I had to cancel my order. One month later I had still not received a credit to my credit card for my order that I did not receive. When I called customer service, which I did at least seven times, the agents did not know how to help. I was told that they would call me back, but that never happened. I repeatedly had to call to try to get my money back, and finally had to file a dispute claim with my credit card company. I would not recommend this site to anyone. I also found that the prescriptions I needed were cheaper at Wal-Mart anyway.

Had a great experience with this vendor. Further they were the only site that came up with my product when I searched. I'm sure that other vendors carry this dog ball, but NPP had a listed for the Chuck-it products.

I ordered one bottle of the product but received two separate shipments. I called and was sent a mailing label and returned the unordered bottle. Your rep was supposed to make sure I was not charged for two bottles. She never called me or emailed me to assure me that I was not charged twice.
Since I am participating in you survey I would appreciate something in writing indicating my account was not charge twice.

The on-line order process is quick and painless, although for prescription items it becomes more complex. Prices are significantly cheaper. However, once shipping is added in, savings become minimal.

I have ordered food, canned and dry, for cats and dogs from this store. It has been delivered in good condition except for one or two slightly dented cans. They have a great selection. I buy foods that are recommended by both Whole Dog Journal and PETA, so that I can get high quality foods that are not involved with animal cruelty. The shipment usually takes about a week. They are just starting an automatic shipment plan which I have not tried. I have also ordered kitty litter. My only problem is that they ship in boxes that are so heavy I have to empty them in order to get the items into the house. On one occasion an item was omitted and I emailed them about it and got an immediate response. Otherwise the orders have been correct, well packaged with lots of cushioning, and fresh according to the sell by dates.
