I've placed more than one order from Light Bulb Emporium and shipping has been consistently slow.

The company needs a new web site. The order status page is incomplete and does not provide full tracking information for shipments which are not shipped all at once.

Email communications about orders need to have links which go direct to order status, rather than requiring the user to type in information which was contained in the email.

I placed an order with LightBulbEmporium.com on September 9th as of November 8th the order status still says "order processing" after 9 attempts to call them I have spoken to 2 people both of which said someon would call me back that day now a week later I emailed their customer service who replied telling me that the price that they sold them at was a mistake and they would be nearly double what I had a reciept for. I will be ordering from someone else.

LightBulbEmporium provides horrible customer service. After receiving the wrong merchandise from them because of a flaw in their website that processed the order incorrectly the merchandise was returned as requested by an RMA. They never bothered to ship the right merchandise, never issued a refund until two months after a dispute was filed with the credit card company. They then sent a refund less shipping and less a 20% restocking fee. Just total shysters. Try 1000Bulbs.com for a much more positive, professional experience.

We are a small family run clothing shop on Long Island and have been purchasing Satco light bulbs for our warehouse and showroom for more than 20 years. When searching the internet we came across Light Bulb Emporium as a source for Satco light bulbs.

The halogen lights that we had been paying $12.00 each for locally were advertised on Light Bulb Emporium for $4.99! At first, I didn't believe the price, but placed an order anyway. We received the shipment within about 4 days and low and behold they were the exact Satco bulb that we have been purchasing for more than 20 years at more than 50% off.

We are now updating all of the ballasts and bulbs in our warehouse to the new energy efficient technology and all of the replacement items are from Light Bulb Emporium. The prices and knowledgable sales staff have been invaluable to our company.

The prices and service are amazing.

My experience with lightbulbemporium.com was very poor. The products that I ordered arrived just fine, but the problems started when I decided I wanted to return some items. It took me four calls and one e-mail to eventually get an RMA #. When I hadn't received a credit three weeks later, I called to follow up. They claimed that they never received the return shipment, but luckily I had the UPS tracking number and delivery confirmation. After sending them the tracking number they agreed to refund my purchase, but they still charged the 20% restocking fee.

Delivery Speed - 7 Days
Order Accuracy - Perfect on specialty lamps that no one else had.
Customer Service - Excellent, I received my merchandise within a week.
Overall Satisfaction - I received a very hard to find product in 7 days and the price was incredibly low. I will certainly buy from them again.
