I started buying from Jegem when they started as a small company many years ago. Back then the jewellery was of high quality and extremely cheap as is most silver originating in Thailand. I still regularly wear an amethyst ring that receives no amount of compliments.  
However, their selling paractices now are just outrageous and the prices/quality a sham. Anyone else kept an item in their cart for several months and see that all the 'Offers' and coupons that they send you only vary the price by a few dollars?  Claiming that a silver ring by no specific designer retails for over $900 is just an insult to my intelligence!
Yes, they treat you as a 'friend' until you have a problem. My last purchase, well over a year ago, arrived as a completely different size than advertised and when removing it the stone popped right out onto the floor. I emailed them as a long term regular customer, and I too received the same bad service as all the other negative reviews. Not only did I have to cover the return shipping costs to Thailand but I waited months for a refund. Never again!!!!

This website is a scam..... I saw my " unique, hand made one of a kind ring" on another jewelers website. Exact same ring. For much cheaper. JeGem claims their jewelry is unique and cannot be duplicated, but that is funny, I just checked their website, and my "one of a kind ring" is for sale again! CRAP..CRAP..CRAP!

I bought a necklace from Je Gem in December and returned it in December, and I am still waiting for my refund.  They have strung me along for months now, promising to credit my credit card and then saying they can't, promising to send a check, then saying they can't, and so on and so forth.  You can't get a live person on the phone -- all you can do is leave a message and they don't return your phone calls.  They don't post any information about their company.  Total ripoff and the jewelry isn't worth it.  Go elsewhere! 

Ring was ordered late January. By the time FedEx attempted delivery (8 days later), my husband and I were both hit with extreme stomach flu. For two weeks, it's all we could do to make it from bed to bathroom to bed. As a result, we missed much work, scheduled events, etc. .....and the delivery of this package. The package was returned by FedEx, however a credit was not applied to original form of purchase. When we inquired JeGem stated "We are so sorry to hear about what happened to you and your husband. However, we would like to inform you that as per our company policy we do not refund unclaimed packages but instead we can re shipped your order." 

Upon further investigation on their website, NOTHING, ANYWHERE states co. policy conditions related to unclaimed packages.  Nothing. Customer service is second to last. Prices and country of origin are misrepresented. Feedback section of their website lists ALL 5 out of 5 ratings....really?? 5 out of 5 across the board?? I must be the only one then....really.

I ordered and received, within the week, a pendant.  Ordering was easy and delivery was fast.  The 9 is not clearly stamped in the 925.  It's not clear where the items come from.  I tracked my package online and it originated in Thailand.    I'm a little leery of an online business that isn't more clear about who they are/where they are located.  (If they are in fact using independent artists around the world - wouldn't it be better to use that as a selling feature ie: Novica?)  The piece I received is lovely - and seems well crafted.  I have no experience with customer service.

I shop for everything online and have shopped at hundreds of online stores. JeGem.com is THE BEST. From excellent service to exceptional quality they are top notch. Its May 2010 and I have emailed customer services 3 times and no reply at all. I buy regularly from the site so they clearly dont care about retaining customer loyalty. Two expensive pieces of jewellry have fallen apart and they wont even reply to my emails regarding this. I bought 3 pendants as gifts and asked for separate boxes, they sent them in 1 tiny box which wouldnt even close. They do what they want when they want. I run an online business myself and I would be horrified if my staff treated customers this way. I WILL NOT BE BUYING FROM THEM AGAIN AND WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING THEM - They do not deserve genuine sales as their customer service and after care is ZERO!!!!!!!

I purchased a ring from this company and initially wanted to return it because of a sizing issue. Then I noticed a crack in the stone. It wasn't visible in the photo. You're supposed to receive the actual item pictured on the site. I wrote that this was not as I expected and wanted a refund plus return shipping. It took 2 emails for someone named Jean to get back to me only to be offered an electronic store credit.

Nowhere on their site does it mention this so I wrote back asking for confirmation that the funds would be credited to my account. I have yet to hear from her. There's no way that I would consider returning the piece only to have them attempt to force the store credit. They'd have the ring AND my funds hostage! who has time to go to Thailand to sort this out?!

JEGem's testimonials would makes you believe that they provide excellent customer service but I'll hazard a guess that the service is great as long as you don't want to return anything! Caveat emptor, people!

Don't get fooled by the design. I bought this pendant and within 3 uses(2 months) the stones fell off. If U want them to fix it then U need to pay for the postage both ways since it's crossed the 30 day mark. Any jewellery U buy should last for some time specially when U pay around $50 for a single piece. Think TWICE Before U buy from this site. Suprisingly you don't even get a receipt along with U'r order.  So you don't know how geniune the items are & secondly looks like the jewellery have a very short life span. I did get fooled by their nice unique design but somehow disappointed as they don't last long. It's no point spending so much for such-short lived products. It's best to see the product & get better customer service.

I bought an emerald ring at the site and had it re-sized for an additional charge only to have the ring break on the forth time I wore it. When I e-mailed them regarding my displeasure I was told they had their specialist look at each ring before sending it and it was approved. I could send them a picture of the ring but they suggest I take it to a silversmith in my area.

I would recommend that anyone that looks at this site to remember that the jewelry is not made in this country and if it breaks sending it back is almost impossible with their low rate customer service.
