They told me I was getting an extended warranty for a gateway laptop, when the lap top messed up I call and they tell me I didn't pay 100$ for an extended warranty I paid for viper...WTF viper is 20$ at most retail stores!!! Plus it hasn't even been a year so they are not standing by the initial 1yr warrenty that came with it! I'm so disapointed in HSN, if you get something from them DON'T bother with the warranties and extra crap cause this is the SECOND time they BSd on what they would do if the product messed up. Also when calling the manufacturer they couldn't find my order number, in fact I became so frustrated I gave my mother the phone and she is still on the phone with them...it's been over an hour!!!!BE AWARE OF WHAT YOU'RE GETTING!!!! record your conversation even but don't let them squeeze you like a lemon for every drop they can

I ordered a Samsung home theatre system (HT-4500) and received it yesterday. I went to Best Buy today to pick up some accessories and noticed that the same model number that I had purchased from HSN looks completely different from the model at Best Buy. I decided to look at the Samsung website and it was the same scenario there as well. Not only did I receive last years model... but I also paid $299 for the old model when the new model is selling for $269 from the retailer itself! Typically it would be more on the Samsung website. Then I looked at my other options from HSN and realized that they are selling last year models for more than the current model is selling for in stores for most of the products. I do NOT reccomend shopping here unless you do your research!

I ordered two mattress pads and was charged almost 13.00 for "shipping". 7 days later UPS still does not have the package and I will not receive the items in time. UPS would charge about $5.00 for shiopping and HSN pockets the rest. I will need to go out and buy some and return the HSN ones. HSN says I will have to wait 21 days to receive the return shipping label. Stay away from them- overcharged for shipping, under produced , surly customer service. It is a racket- second time this happened to me.

Never again will i shop on HSN. I had two items i had ordered on auto-ship.
What a racket that is! I went online and canceled the two items. well somehow only one got canceled and i received one of the item again. Well i didn't have time to return it, in the amount of time they allow and they won't take it back. So they tell me it's my fault that i didn't return it in the amount of time they allow. It's not their fault that their system only took one item off and not both and i didn't to react to their mistake in a timely fashion.
The customer service was not very good either, not helpful, didn't try to make this right. It was my fault.
I told them to take my account down also. I see another reviewer had them do the same thing but it wasn't done. Surprise, Surprise!

ordered an item ... hsn was delivering it to an old address. called to let them know ... they could not stop the delivery . told me to wait to see if item was going to be returned to hsn.. i could not order another one because item was sold out so i was out of luck... rep was apologetic but still could not do anything about it... i cancelled my hsn account with her immediately.. i forgot about the hsn poor customer service since my last order was about 3 years ago & i never received the item i ordered & then when another one was shipped had to return it because it was damaged, and of course now they were out of stock.. frustrating, aggravating, and time consuming..... so i was giving hsn another chance after all this time but again it was frustrating, aggravating, time consuming , so adios hsn will try qvc next time !!!

I bought some items from HSN, and one of the items they told me i return it. if i cant return it, then why say if we dont like it, then return it. dont say to return something and later say we cant send it back. it's like they want to keep your money. i waited forever for my package to arrive. I will surely never do business with them again. they're a scammer. im not pleased with some of their items, some of their items doesn't look like it does on tv..they are very dishonest and very rude. it's a nightmare.

We bought a sewing machine. Was supposed to be a real special deal on a hard to get item. Then our local fabric store advertises the same item for $30 less. We asked HSN about it and was told, basically too bad. They certainly imply they have the best prices, but don’t be fooled. We are never shopping there again. Apparently, the value of keeping us as a lifetime loyal customer was not worth them dong a price match. Very short sighted but that is their decision. Our decision is to never watch their show or buy anything.

Ordered product could not get customer service rep to slow down and listen to what I was telling her about the name on the card and how it has to appear to be billed correctly. She finally said it went through and gave me my confirmation. The product never came so I called only to be told they canceled and it is sold out. When I asked the name on the billing once agian the customer service rep was rude talked over me and still would not listen to how the name needs to be written. I asked her to read it back and she stated it doesn't matter , it how we do it here. I have had way to many problems with HSN and will never order from them. They do not care about there customer. VERY UNHAPPY

Of the last three orders with HSN two were back ordered. They even promised on air to do what was necessary to fill orders for larger size container.

HSN has great products at wonderful prices. However, their customer service is the worst. I had a problem with my address not being valid
in their system when trying to order a bed. Even though I've ordered with them before and received my package, my same address still came up as invalid. I emailed customer service 4 times and kept getting the run around. They wouldn't hold the bed I wanted and kept wanting me to call them instead of them calling me. Maybe they are not allowed to make outbound calls. Even the supervisor said I would need to call them even though they had all my account information. I guess being a supervisor of call center myself, I had a hard time accepting this information. I expect good customer service all the time and a customer should never have to follow up by calling customer service after already contacting them via email. Email is a form of contact! There is no difference between email and the phone! Well, the difference is I'm not waiting on hold when I email. Again, this is the worst service I've ever experienced.

The most ridiculous shipping structure I have ever come across. First, UPS gets your package, and you get a tracking number. Great! Then, suddenly, your package seems to have been delivered. But not to you. After several phone calls, you discover that HSN has UPS deliver your package to a nearby USPS office, where it now undergoes a whole new rash of sorting, selecting, etc. I ship and get shipments from all over the USA, and I am not four days from anywhere! But apparently, I am two weeks away from Texas, according to HSN, and I live in the midwest!! I would never order from this company again, and only older seniors or tech virgins would not know that this is the crappiest shipping time known to man. There are so many other online vendors, why bother with this crap. (And I still haven't gotten my package, which I expected three days ago....)

Return policy is not to be believed. They state items under 5 lbs. can be returned for $6.95 and those over 5 lbs for $8.95. This only works if the item you ordered comes directly from them. The majority come from outside vendors. In order to ship back a tapestry I bought it will cost me $32. Nowhere did it say this was coming from an outside vendor. Customer Services response was that I should have called before ordering to see where the item was shipping from. Save yourself the headache and the big bucks. These people are crooks!

Between the company NextBook and HSN, they are both full if it. The nextbook is a piece of crap that dous not hold a charge, download any books fast-or even slow- and customer service from both sucks. Next book has about 2 people in customer service who first should find out their job description...they know nothing. Once HSN has your money......well "Bye". I ordered an item which cost $268 and upon its arrival, it did not live up to the description by the sales pitch diva. She also stated during her "live performance" there were hundreds of positive reviews for the product. So when I received it, I went online and there were NONE! Not a one! I contacted via live chat and they said "sorry"....
Yeah, like that helps! SOOO, today I try to leave feedback and cannot. You know why? Because the item is not listed at the moment...so I can't leave feedback! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Now you know there has to be a reason for that....and I am sure it is not for the consumer's benefit. SHOP ONLINE BUT NOT HERE. THE FEEBACK POLICY FOR A BUSINESS OF THIS SIZE IS LUDICROUS.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. I orderd a Dyson, it was sent to someone else. I never recieved it, they returned my deposit because I was right and they have now turned me over to collection for the balence of something they know I didn't get.

I bought a NEXTPAD, when in 3 or 4 days after I get a phonecall saying that my order was going to arrive in no less than 30 days, I bought it for my 10 year old niece for her birthday, and need it in less than 15 days. When I called they said that it was true i was not going to get it on time due to so many people ordering it. I was disappointed since it was the first time I ever bought something from HSN, for me to get a CSR it took like 15 mins. I dont think I am ever buying anything from them again. I would not tell people to buy from HSN.

Terrible! Just awful! I had to place the order for my cell phone 3 seperate times, and each time it was cancelled due to "vendor issues" yet they kept saying every single time I called "We have them in stock, or they would not be offered on the website". They lie, flat out lie. I took it up from representitive to manager (who hung up on me when I asked questions) to their 'leadership team' What a farce that is. They take orders for items they have no intention on shipping and then customer 'service' claims they can't do anything about it. Last I heard SERVICE means that you CAN do something about it.
I will never buy from them again and never recomend them to anyone.
