WARNING: Do not use this site. I used it for the first time 2 weeks ago- needed a product for my business. Was instantly charged for the product and sent a UPS confirmation on the shipping. Then out of nowhere the shipping was cancelled by Goodman's. They told me there was a UPS label issue and it would be shipped the very next day. Well....the product was never sent. Did not receive a call, email or anything. The site was fine with charging me $150 for the product and not sending it or letting me know anything. And when I called to get answers, they told me they no longer stocked the product and that they could not tell me when I would receive it. Nightmare- Goodmans.com is the reason old people are afraid to buy on the internet. Have purchased hundreds of products online and this is the first negative review I have ever written.

Ordered a DH hairdryer after being impressed with it at my local Avalon salon.  The picture on their website was exactly like the one at the salon and so I paid $100+ for it.  Shipping was prompt, however, the product I received looked nothing like the actual dryer.  The DH dryer pictured on their site and at my salon is black with DH logo and graphics on it.  What I received was a painted on aluminum-colored dryer (paint chips off)- no logos, poor quality and when I turned it on it smelled like something was burning.  It almost looked amateurish!  I feel so cheated- sent them an email but it's Christmas Eve, will see how they respond.  I can't even begin to describe how FURIOUS I am!!

Ordered some blender parts from Goodman's.  Arrived just as they said, in good order and within the time frame they specified.  Would definitely order from them again.

I ordered two items that shipped reasonably fast.  Item 1 had the wrong quantity.  Instead of 2 sets of spoons with 6 each I received just 2 spoons.  I emailed and got a response within 2 days asking me for the initials on the packing slip.  Promptly mailed the information and was told "We apologize for the in convenience. I will reship your items today."  Items never arrived.  Item 2 was a OEM equivalent water filter that  leaks.  It caused a minor flood in my basement.  The original filter was fine, but the replacement kept leaking and is a hazard.  I mailed the store, told them about it, and that I didn't get the promised spoons.  Never heard back from them.  I am taking my $40 loss on this order, but not without warning you of this outfit.

I ordered cutter blades for my husband's Panasonic wet/dry electric razor from Goodmans.net.  The ordering process went smoothly and I received an e-mail the next day stating that my order had shipped so they did a good job getting it out the door.  Painless and efficient is the name of the game and I got both so I have no complaints.

I purchased an in stock item from their website on a Sunday.  On Monday I would have expected it to ship, but instead I got some vague email at 5pm that the item was in stock.  I thought I had already known that from the status on the website, other than confusing, the email was useless.  I waited until Wednesday and still no update.  I sent them an email as to the approximate ship date and I got no response.  On Thursday afternoon, I called them and asked for a ship date.  The customer rep said “probably tomorrow”, then I replied “ just go ahead and cancel the order”.  She replied “ok, your money will be refunded within a few days” <click>.  Hmm, that was nice, first  they billed me long before they shipped and then she was rude as hell and could care less.
Never again.

Called Amazon right after I got off the phone and it shipped the very next day.

Ordered two small thermal fuses on 1-7-2009. Said shipping would be 5-7 days. They received their money on 1-7 via PayPal and the same day the sent me an email stating the 2 fuses were in stock (nothing back ordered).

On 1-12-2009 they sent me an e-mail stating my order had been shipped. What? They shipped it 5 days after they got their money? I was expecting it on the day they say they shipped it.

Well, here it is 1-19-09 and I still haven’t received it. No tracking number. I need these fuses for heat here in Minnesota….a bit cool this time O year. Seriously, how hard is it to throw 2 fuses into an envelope.

Ordered a part for a blender online and it shipped the next day. It was in perfect condition. No complaints at all and would buy from them again. Did not have to deal with their customer service so cannot comment.

I have ordered a Panasonic Pro Curve ES 8019N Electric Shaver from Goodman's thru Epinions.com on Dec. 12. I received the packaged on Dec. 15. As soon as I opened the package, I'm very disappointed and feel been cheatted. The box is label as refurblished which is not indicated on the product site. I decide to return the package right away without opening the box. This becomes a bad experience of doing online shopping for Christmas.

On March 28, 2005 at 1:30 CST I attempted to buy Oster A5 clippers from Goodman’s. Not knowing exactly what I needed I ask a question on the A5 and was told by the on line sales person that she did not know anything about the product. “All we do is sell the products. If you want me too I’ll will give you the number of the manufacturer and you can call them and ask questions.” I attempted to call Goodman’s back and was hung up on three times. This is not customer service this is lazy person with the low price.

Terrible Customer Service - I ordered my mixer on 2/25/06 and received on 3/2/06 only to find out it had a damaged spot on the mixer stand. I promptly returned it on 3/3/06. I called to get a status after the store received the item on 3/8/06 and got the response that it hadn't been processed yet. The person that processes returns was out, so I was out of luck. It is now 3/17/06 and they "say" it will be processed today and shipped on Monday, "3/20/06"...granted they still have them in stock! I am very dissatisfied with the customer service in this store and will NEVER buy anything there again.

Poor communication. Ordered product on 2/12; received confirmation of order and email that product was in stock. Checked online status each day, and there was NO status given. Tried calling customer service on Friday 2/17 at 4:10 pm CST; line picked up and disconnected - no message, no answering machine. Same result whether it was toll free or local number. Called Monday 2/20 and was told that the order was being held because my credit card expiration was incorrect. I said, no, it is not incorrect -- I'm holding it in my hands and that's what it says. I've completed many transactions with no problem with this card. They said it was wrong. I said I was disappointed that no one attempted to contact me, and they said we did, and listed a few dates; I said I've received 2 emails, and neither of them had any information about the credit card being incorrect or any problem with the order. They also said they sent a letter to my home on 2/17. I canceled the order. No apology was given, and no suggestion for a positive resolution was attempted, even though I was very reasonable.

Everything shipped perfectly but it did take them 3 days to pack and get it out there doors. So if you need it pronto, choose a shiiping option where they say they will pack it immediately.

Found these guys after having much trouble with TotalVac.com. Goodman's received my order, shipped, and I had it in less than a week. Will do business here again when the need arises.

Extremely poor communication, no receipts and lacks any inventory of Hair Clippers. I placed an order for an Oster PowerLine 76076-040 Clippers on August 18th 2004. Today is September 9th and they still have not ordered/received this item in their stock. I called their customer service before ordering it online, they said one to two weeks before they will have it, no longer. It's over three weeks now. Epinions claims on their website that Goodmans.net has these in stock. I suggest either Epinions or Goodmans stop LYING about inventory. It's very frustrating to believe anything these companies claim. The factory at Oster says these are available and there are no backorders to their resellers. So what is the problem? Goodman's ties www.sunbeam-oster.com (reseller not factory) with the worst customer service. I'm off to find a REAL vendor who actually sells these and not just list it on their website to fill web pages or draw people to their website, hoping to draw customers for other products. Grade of F- for Goodman's.

The item that I was looking for was listed on Amazon and Goodmans. I decided to go with Goodmans, because they had the item in stock, and being a true American, I needed it NOW.

While Goodman's had a shipping charge of about $7 (Amazon didn't), they were true to their word and I received my product in perfect condition within about 5 days. So based on my 1 experience dealing with them, they performed perfectly.

Purchased a KitchenAid mixer. Was able to negotiate a very low price. The person I spoke with had a good attitude and the service was very good. Tracking # e-mailed and item was packed well. Many companies seem to "drop ship" but Goodman's claims to warehouse and handle their products. I was recommended to them by a friend,who also had a favorable experience with them.
