Ordered from Gemini even though we were across the country. Overall a good experience--quick shipping, good product, and low prices. I was really unsure about what my restaurant needed but I gave them a call and was able to work out exactly what products to order with the service agent. I ordered a Datalogic power scanner from Gemini for use in my store's new warehouse, for use when the Christmas/holiday rush hit. Their prices were lower, and they had a variety of shipping options. I work in a place that supplies products for various retail stores around the county and our barcode scanners are a vital part of the warehouse process—anyone who's ever worked in that environment can tell you that you're pretty much lost without one. Since the Datalogic would work with our existing POS system I figured I'd give it a try to see if it'd make a difference from our old readers.
Gemini shipped it to us on time, with absolutely no problems; it's probably one of the easiest purchases I've ever made online. We're absolutely going to use them again for our POS equipment needs. This scanner is a heavy duty product and it has withstood a bunch of guys literally throwing it to each other between the aisles as we fill orders! It's fast and reliable.

Tried to purchase three items because of the advertised low price.
Paid with one credit card and the transaction was accepted by my credit card company but reversed by Gemini. I called customer service and they said that the credit card couldn't be verified but I should use PayPal. Hmmm OK, I have no credit problems, the card is not stolen, I am who I say I am, what gives? I gave them different credit card info, and they say that it still can't be completed but I should use PayPal. Huh? I ask why. They tell me that they know that my shipping address and my billing address match and the credit card company accepted the trasaction but it was because of my address since I had never bought from them before (!!??).
So bottom line, I attempted to buy something. I paid for the items with a credit card that was accepted by my credit card company, twice. The ship-to address was the same as my billing address. They could have googled the address and saw that it was a house.
Sounds more and more like something sketchy is going on with a preferred payment provider doesn't it?

No hassles with order (epson printer with auto cut) or shipping. Site could be a tiny bit more intuitive in terms of navigation, but the low prices makes the extra few minutes a non-issue overall. Fed-ex delivered when they were supposed to (that means my order was sent when I was told it would be?) and there was no issue with accuracy as I got exactly what I wanted.

The web site claimed ships in 5-7 days. After 8 days I checked on the status and they said it would ship in 10 days. Not good enough. Stay away.

You guys almost gave me the creeps with all those negative comments about Gemini... I have to say, our experience with Gemini has been very positive. We received the products on time and perfectly sealed. We saved about 15% of the usual market price and we received a relatively quick answer to all our questions after we placed the order.

Promises, deception and incompetence. 2 months of waiting for a repair part. I contacted the manufacturer. The part is available for next day shipping. The messages of "it's out of stock", "I can't get ahold of the manufacturer" were all smoke. I received multiple "your order is scheduled to ship" messages. No part. My business has suffered from the loss of productivity. So much wasted time on a vendor that obviously has real issues.

I placed an order on 8/14/2011 for Topaz Clip Gem Pen replacements The order was not received by the third week in September. I called three times and all three times the call was answered by the same person "Joseph" which is a bit suspicious to me. I was told the first two times that he would look into and get back to me which he did not do. I called today well over a week since my first call and he still was not able to give me any information on the status of my order so I cancelled my order. I will also be notifying my credit card as I am pretty certain I will not see a refund or any confirmation of the cancellation as promised.
I think this is just one person selling things from home pretending to be a legitimate company.
I would definitely recommend not buying from Gemini.

I have been in the restaurant business for 35 years. I started with A&W, went to Far West Services as GM & finally District Manager of a Dionner House Chain "Reubens Plank House" the Black Angus 140 Restaurants as IT Director and now Restaurant Consultant. Gemini has never failed be and they always do what they say and give me even more service than I asked for. They ship from multiple sites to keep prices down. This way they don't have to keep direct inventory on there shelves. That keeps your prices down. They are a "10" in my book. Price, Service, Delivery, Quality.

I ordered some back-up power supplies for my front-end registers and got exactly what I ordered. The product itself was the same as the picture and the price I paid was the same one listed on their site. I placed the order on Thursday and received it the following Tuesday. They were very helpful when I was trying to decide on what model I needed and didn't sell me the most expensive one, but the one I needed!

Decided to go with Gemini Computers again when I was looking for a security camera, and again was impressed with the consistency of their product description and pricing with what I actually got. I also received a full manufacturer warranty at no additional cost and my camera was delivered by the end of the same week that I ordered it.

I have never written a bad review but Gemini deserves one. I purchased 2 products online and added a rush charge for 3 day delivery. This was a large order nearly $800.00 of parts. My company is on a deadline to finish this job. We had 3 weeks to finish when I placed the order.
Two weeks after I placed the order I tried to track it - no tracking available. Then I emailed customer service...only to find that it was NOT in stock and would be 2 more weeks before delivery. Well I called again today because it is still not here. My job deadline was yesterday and I still have no idea where the products are!!! Little or no response from CSR and no response to the critical time need. The order says they will chg a restocking fee, so we cannot get the product elsewhere. Needless to say, we are VERY upset!

I stumbled upon Gemini Computers when I searched for a Panasonic security camera for my business. The price was right and ordering process was smooth. I later called them to inquire about more deals and saw that they also sell DVRs, screens, and a variaty of other different products. I plan to check them out again for my next project. Bookmarked.

I Ordered my Dome camera by Sony at the geminicomputersinc.com website on Tuesday. Product selection was good and checkout was straight forward. Most of all, I liked the cheap price which allowed me to save over $200 as opposed to buying it in my local mall store. The order arrived to me very quickly in 2 days even though I selected ground. If there's no need to return an item, then the company functions like most the others. Buyer beware: if you must return an item. They did NOT respond unless threatened to stop payment (2 weeks later). Advertised falsely that an item worked when it had known limitations from manufacturer. Even with a manufacturer tech ticket showing item did NOT work with our equipment (2 techs on their end tried), they still charged max restock fee of 25%. We had 2 of us working on this problem with the manufacturer. I'm ok if there's a tech problem. However Gemini had extremely poor customer service, and poor response time. The minimal savings NEVER covered the time to deal with the issues of returning the product (still ongoing - 1 month later). I'll never recommend this company.

Much like some of the other reviews, this is a cheap place to buy and service is satisfactory - just as long as you never have a problem. They don't negotiate and become very defensive if questioned - I bought $3,300+ on this order for my business (and have done so many times in the past as well) and paid by ACH (check by phone). When I checked the bank account later, the accurate amount of the purchase was billed, but ANOTHER charge for $450+ was ALSO billed to my account. I called immediately assuming it was a mistake and the previously friendly demenour was gone - nothing but a run around, I was told it would take days for accounting to "look into it" with no guarantee it would be corrected. They directly took funds from the business bank account without authorization or any notification to me... it feels like the thinking is "hey, its a business, they'll never notice if we slide a second bogus charge in there." Unfortunately the way they handled this transaction undid the goodwill from previous orders - it doesn't matter how cheap they are if they can't be trusted.

I ordered $2,200 worth of equipment and item description stated that the package came with a barcode scanner. Called customer service and complained that the barcode scanner did not ship with my order. Rep was very defensive and refused to send me one unless i pay for it. Rep was very rude and refused to give me any type of credit.

Here is a company you don't find too often anymore. I ordered a device, of which there are several models. Gemini Computers actually took the time to look at the order and email me to let me know that they can ship what I ordered, but that I might be looking for another device (which was really what I was looking for). How great is that? Someone looked out for me, and saved the headache of having to return something. In the end I got what I was really looking for, and all it took was a little effort, which these folks extended. I am happy, I got what I wanted, and I recommend them whole heartedly. Too many Internet companies simply let the e-commerce site handle things, and it doesn't always work. These folks rock!

Before ordering, I called the phone number on the website and got through right away. We confirmed that the item was in stock and ready to ship. My order was shipped within hours of when I placed it online and was delivered in perfect condition two days later. They have the best price on the net and great service to boot. This company low balls prices and usually comes up as the lowest price, but beware, if you are having trouble with the product need to return or need support, they are useless. Pay a few dollars more and buy from a site that can support the products they sell and has a fair return policy. They provide incorrect information about products because they do not know anything about them and how they are supposed to work or what additional cables and accessories are needed.
Any company can sell products but to provide support and service of the products you sell you have to make and investment in time and resources which Gemini does not do. Purchase at your own risk.

I ordered a receipt printer from Gemini and requested overnight shipping. It was listed as "in stock" on their website. I received an email from "Itai" stating that it was on backorder for 1 week. A week later, I called and spoke to "Eddie" who informed me of the following:
1. It was still on backorder.
2. It would ship directly from the manufacturer (translation: it would NEVER be "in stock!")
3. It could only ship via ground.
4. My credit card would be charged immediately, even though the item was on backorder.
The item is STILL LISTED on their website as "In stock." I cancelled the order. 'Nuff said.
