HORRIBLE...They mislead buyers by saying they can ship an item by a certain date then just keep changing the ship date and saying Oh Well, Too bad for you. Lied to me twice about when the shoes would be available so I would not cancel and order them elsewhere.  Then get you to sign up for their so-called "loyalty" program to get free shipping (which costs at least $10, it is not a free program).  When they cannot actually send you the item in a reasonable timeframe, they refuse to refund for the program that is now useless. So they expect you to pay them for wasting your time!!

On Friday September 7th I ordered and item and received it the following Thursday, September 13th. I opened the package and found that the warehouse had shipped the wrong color. I called customer service at 3:00pm and explained the situation. Here is the conversation...

Me: You shipped the wrong color.
Eastbay: I'm sorry, I will send you the correct color out tomorrow. It should arrive next Thursday.
Me: Hell no! I've already waited a week for this thing, Im not waiting another week to get the correct color. Just cancel my order.
Eastbay: Hell no, im not cancelling this order...I will ship it next day air..
Me:Ok sounds good.

Product arrived next day. Now that's customer service!
 
Now thats not exactly how the conversation went, i just spiced it up a bit.  I am very happy with the way Eastbay handled the order! Im a customer for life..

Poorest service I have ever experienced... Ever!

I attempted ordering team uniforms and after eight weeks of runaround the order was completely wrong. In my attempts to get it corrected I was told that the mistakes must have been mine.  The person "helping" me seemed to be on vacation about half the time, calls were returned two days later at best, and the order was totally botched. Yes, the prices are cheap, but I just wasted over $2000, have no uniforms for the season, and experienced a level of frustration in dealing with a vendor that I never have before in 17 years of coaching. Save yourself a lot of pain and shop elsewhere!

In trying to remedy the situation I asked that the supervisor for my account rep call me. It has been two days and no return call yet. I do plan to contact the corporate headquarters (Foot Locker) tomorrow to see if someone there cares at all about customer service. Those working at East Bay Team Sales clearly do not.

Once gain do not allow the low prices fool you. This vendor has a good chance of ruining your season. It is not worth the savings.

My review pertains to Team Eastbay, the online team site run by eastbay.
I put an online order request in on a Sunday, and I had to call them three times during the week to get a quote. Each time the person on the phone acted helpful and said a quote was on its way, and each time Eastay was lying. A week later and still no quote.

I even called for a supervisor, was told she was busy, got my info, put me on hold for 5 minutes and still has not called me back.

Dont risk your team's order with these amateurs!

Eastbay is a great online store for the athletic variety of people.  You can find all sorts of sports apparel and equipment on Eastbay.  They have great catalogs that they send out for every season, to view the latest sports trends on the market.  I ordered a pair ofg Puma Baseball cleats for only $30 and that includes tax and shipping.  I've always been pleased with the way that Eastbay runs their business.

DO NOT order from EASTBAY! You are charged a $6.99 processing fee on returns/exchanges that you only can discover in the fine print. Customer Service Reps. that I encountered were rude and condescending. I would recommend another service such as ZAPPOS with a "no frills" return policy.

EASTBAY does not refer to this $6.99 Processing Fee, AT ALL, on their website under "Return Policy!" - apparently, only if you read the fine print on the flip side of the hard copy return label, can you then find this "hidden" fee.

Do not EVER order from Eastbay!!!  Items were not in stock (and no longer available); however, the company did not provide customer notification until weeks later.  Customer service is terrible and the company did not honor its promotion.

Have been a long time shopper. Have made half a dozen purchases through the years. Only called Eastbay once and the person was rude and not accommodating. The prices are not always the cheapest but have the right price from time to time for me.

Anyone that would want in on getting these Eastbay problems taken care of so they can stop getting away with screwing the customer, respond to this review. I am currently in a battle with them in reference to my team's late delivery uniforms. After I received them, after one wash the numbers began to crack. Yes, they were washed correctly by the instructions in-closed. I have contacted Eastbay about the problem and what they are going to do. Of course, I am again experiencing the slow response and no return calls I got when I made the original order.

I have read the other reviews and many of you seem to have had the same problems with customer service and order time/quality. I plan on contacting some friends I have in the government area of consumer protection. Eastbay needs called on the carpet.

Eastbay is always a great place to shop--they have all the latest Nike brand shoes, carry narrow sizes, lots of colors and ship practically overnite! i get expensive shoes SO much quicker, cheaper and easier by buying online @ Eastbay. and i get the latest shoes weeks before the local sporting goods big-name stores!!

We had a good exchange of what the problems were. The customer service agent was following policy, EastBay needs less marketing and better process. Looking for a new supplier because this is not the first time shipments were delayed - if you charge a premium for shipment, prioritize the orde...don't hide behind policies that do not work for urgent orders. Also, the web site search fro products is weak and I have provided examples to the CSR.

The only problem I had was trying to find a short in the size I needed. They seemed to run out of the smaller sizes quicker than the larger ones.

I was disappointed that the advertisement was for 30% off orders of $200 or more, but when I placed my order, both pairs of shoes I was ordering were ineligible for the 30% off. I felt this was misleading and I was disappointed since I was ordering @ $285 worth of merchandise.

I purchased the products on-line for my son who is a college basketball player. Being able to go on-line and communicate with my son of the various products was easier than going shopping. There were a wide variety of products and easy on the wallet. The purchase process was user friendly and delivery of the products to his door steps was a breeze.

There was a delay in processing this order - never had that issue before so was really surprised. Had to call and check and then took another day before it was shipped...really not sure why the delay -- was switched to 3 different people before got any information and then as previously stated was told the order was shipping the next day.....a little disappointed this time but would likely consider shopping again.

I ordered this late and paid only a small expedited shipping fee. I had a small window of time in which to receive the package and hand deliver it to the person I ordered it from since they were coming in from out of town. The order came at night on the day I needed it. I was impressed with the delivery. The items were exactly what they wanted.
