Wow--this was a very bad experience. When our gift (clock) arrived we learned it was not the correct one. We needed to return it and the customer service at COURTNEY'S CANDLES was extremely rude.  

After speaking with the same man twice (customer service) on two different occassions we decided to NEVER use Courtney's Candles again!  They don't deserve anyones business.

I was absolutely estatic when I received my online order only 3 days after placing it!  Every item was well packed,  entire order was correct & in stock,  the Illumination Fragrance Warmer is beautiful and excellent quality.  The scented wax melts are  simply intoxicating.  So very impressed with the excellent service I received,  the quality of the products,  the pricing is very reasonable, and most of all purchasing products made in the USA.  Definitely will recommend Courtney"s Candles to all and will be a life long customer.

I ordered reed diffuser fluid from Courtney's, and they shipped me the wrong product. I sent them an email saying I had inadvertently opened the product when it arrived. (They sent diffuser oil, instead of reed diffuser oil.) They called me up. The caller was extremely rude and abusive. I ended up telling them I would never purchase from them again, and hanging up on them. I have never in my life been treated so rudely by a merchant.

I ordered a lamp from the website, but had to call the 866 customer service number to change something for shipping. A lady (? Wilma) answered and stated that it was 7 AM and that this number rang into her home and they were not open. I would expect any business to have an answering machine or voicemail to take such messages and then I would not have had to bother this rude lady in the morning and could have conducted my business without her help. I then called to cancel my order and a man answered who was also short on the phone and actually hung up when I stated that I would like to rate their site. I agree with the others comments about rude customer service. I will go elsewhere and order from someone who knows how to run their business (and is smart enough to have voicemail) and does better customer service.

The lampe fuel filled a large bedroom with white smoke within half an hour. I requested a prepaid return label so that I could return the defective product and not only was that refused, but "Wilma" was curt and downright rude; the other one was condescending. I am filing a PayPal claim and informing Yahoo of the problem. This is NOT a quality product, and not only will I not ever shop there again, I will recommend to family and friends that they not shop there ... and to anyone reading this, too.

The products were substandard. They created excessive smoke and DID NOT PERFORM AS EXPECTED. The scents failed to ignite properly and did not continue to provide scent. In other words, the scents provided do not continue to keep the wick burning and require constant restarting. I would never purchase from this provider again. The provider should be required to stop advertising to adequency of these products. The comments from "other purchases" should be questioned.

Personal customer service is superb. An excellent company to do business with.

I wish all web-retailers conducted business like Courtney's.
