THE WORST COMPANY EVER. i orders my daughters yo gabba gabba decorations and paid for 3 days shipping. i figured even if something happened and it was a couple days late it would still get there in time. WRONG. i waited until the 4th day and called and they said it was due to arrive in time (it was already a day late) her party came and went and the decorations never arrived. when i tryed to cancel they said i had to wait and then ship the package back to them. when the ups guy came 7 days later i refused the package and they explained to me that it was never expidited and it was shipped ground shipping. when i called birthday express they told me yes ground shipping takes 3 days. when i asked them if they were basicly pocketing the extra money and shipping it ground they said i guess you could say that. no joke. they are completly corrupt.

DO NOT order from birthdayexpress.com. The WORST company I have EVER dealt with. Very unproffesional. I wish I would have read these reviews before I ordered.

Sent wrong costume.  It was the cheaper version of the halo master chief.  Where is the quality control ?   Now my son is very sad and forced to find it in our local stores.  Hope we can find it !

Ordering from Birthday Express/Celebrate Express was easy enough, and the selection is good. However, the trouble began once the merchandise arrived. The monster truck watches received ALL BROKE immediately when opened. Every single one! There were other problems with the order, including number of items received, so I called to process a return. That was four calls and 8 weeks ago. At the time I was told 2-4 weeks to process the return. Since then I have been told 5 more days, 7-10 days... No return. Not only will I never shop with this vendor again, but I will search for every possible feedback site to tell my tale. Like others, I wish I read all the negative reviews before purchasing. BUYER BEWARE! UPDATE - Please note, two days after posting this review, I received my full refund.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. I ordered Littlest Pet Shop birthday supplies on December 11 for my daughter's Dec. 16th bd party. I paid extra for "overnight" shipping which was promised to arrive on or by 12/14th. I spoke with customer service on 12/15th and was told that the merchandise didn't get processed in time for overnight shipping and would get to me on 12/18th; it could not be cancelled, I would be charged, and would have to return the merchandise for the amount to be credited to my Visa card. Meanwhile, my daughter was disappointed, and here we are TWO WEEKS LATER and still no shipment. I asked for a supervisor to call and they never did. I just got off the phone after being disconnected and waiting on hold for about a half hour; was told the supervisor was busy, that the shipment never did go out, and that they would "gladly" cancel my original order. Sort of the anti-customer service and the anti-store; thanks for letting me vent.

I ordered supplies for my son's birthday eight days prior to the Friday afternoon party and paid for express shipping. Email confirmed supplies would arrive Wednesday. I called Wednesday to check status, and was told they hadn't even shipped! They told me my items would be overnighted, but Thursday came and went with no box. I called again, and it took them 45 minutes to figure out that the pkg had shipped (but not technically overnight--Next Day Air Saver) but they couldn't find out where it was or when I could expect it. They provided me with tracking numbers and told me to call UPS! I did so and found that although my home is three hours away from this company I will not have my items in time for the party. My son is turning 7, is autistic, and has spent the entire school week telling anyone who will listen about his Transformers birthday party. He is going to be devastated. They don't seem to have concern for their customers, only the bottom line.

Delivery was extremely fast but I was disappointed at the lack of care in packing. My item, a fragile Christmas tree topper, was simply placed in a large box with no surrounding packing material at all, allowing it to freely bounce around while in transit. The price for the item was very good, but shipping seemed a little high. Concerning shipping charges, I prefer rates based on weight rather than on dollars spent which seems more fair. Bottom line on this experience: good price and prompt delivery don't really matter if the item doesn't survive the UPS handlers.

Ordered a costume for my son and was sent the wrong size, items and billing. After lengthy, rude phone call I was told I would receive a tag for return but proper costume was no longer available. That was Oct. 10. Nothing to date and amnesia when I call. I would strongly advise against using this company!

Ordered a costume for my daughter and son in September. Was wondering when I was going to get them, so I checked online. That is how I found out they back ordered my daughters costume. Then I called, since they held my sons costume due to the backorder. This is when I found out the costume was not on backorder, it was on forever backorder never to see it. I asked to remove that costume and ship my sons. I had to pay double for my daughter costume somewhere else due to having to express ship it to me. They told me my sons costume was being shipped 2nd day air. I called again and was told it did not ship they will ship it next day air. Then I called again and was told it was not shipped yet and it MAYBE be shipped and I might see it BEFORE Halloween. Customer service lied, failed to make it a priority to correct their mistakes, so I vow never to do business with any company they own period. Two very unhappy children and I have costume express to thank for it all.

This was my first time ordering from BE, and definitely not my last.. I am very pleased. I ordered the pink poodle theme for my daughters first birthday. I ordered supplies for my daughter's b-day party which I thought were slightly overpriced-- but as military stationed abroad, we have few options, so BE seemed like the way to go. We received the order very quickly, but half the items were the wrong supplies. To date I've received no responses to my query about returning the items and getting the correct ones at no cost to myself. Customer service is very disappointing, and that alone is enough to prevent me from shopping there again.
