Items that were put on backorders were cancelled without informing me.  Then, they cancelled the item that I actually wanted and said it was my fault.  Didn't want to pay for the shipping of that particular item when it became available and accused me of changing my mind.

In preparation for an African safari I found Campmor had the most complete inventory, speedy delivery and helpful sales when I needed advice.  I am petite (5 feet tall) and all clothes available at REI, Ex Officio, Sports Authority, etc. were much too large (even their small and x-small sizes).  In the end I found what I needed at Campmor ... it had the largest selection of youth size clothing and they took the time to measure inseams so the final shipment of clothes I ordered fit me. I would definitely shop here again and recommend to all.

Campmor is a great place to shop. They may not have full variety in season but they sure have the good prices. Great place to look for off season deals on clothes and gear.

Super FAST service, great prices, great selection.

I recently ordered a tent and two sleeping pads from them. The tent was the cheapest anywhere on the Internet at the time (a Marmot Aura 2P) and the info on their product pages is exhaustive and well-written. The product accessories tab is especially handy, that's how I found the right footprint.
 You can tell this store is run by actual campers and not some sterile corporation. Product arrived right on time, very well packaged (lots of bubble wrap) and when I inquired to customer service about the footprint (wanted to know whether it was necessary given the type of terrain I was looking to camp in), their live chat proved extremely handy. Good job!
