This place is awesome! I have ordered several custom items from CafePress now and am very happy with the products I received. The shirt I ordered for my dog was too small, but that was my fault, I accidentally put the wrong size at checkout. When I emailed them about returning it, not only were they prompt about responding (next day) but the service was fantastic! They told me they would send me a new one in the correct size and not to worry about returning the other one, so that I wouldnt have to pay shipping costs! WOW some of the best customer service I have ever received! I will definitely be ordering from here in the future for all my custom product needs. Thank you and keep up the great work!

When I first found this website- I was so excited about the design/gift opportunities! I created a clock as a gift for my step-mother- loved it. Then, even though they promised shipping before Christmas (and I paid extra for it), the piece arrived in January. No note of it coming late, either. On top of that- the clock mechanism was broken!
Alright- it happens- maybe poor shipping? I emailed and they sent me a replacement. It arrived in less than 10 days (why the different shipment experience, I don't know)- but was broken, again!!!
I applaud their customer service- everyone I emailed with (though- why not the same person every time??) were extremely courteous and helpful- the quality of the material though was nowhere near what I expected.

HORRIBLE experience!! Don't buy anything from them. They tell you they ship items.....items never got shipped. When they finally did arrive (one month later), the quality of the t-shirts was VERY poor. The printing on one of them was so small, you need a magnifying glass to read it! The shirt I designed, had the printing in two different styles. The replacement shirt had the wrong printing altogether!! I finally ended up getting credit for that shirt as well as the one with the tiny printing (at least I did get the credits). Also, they do not respond to their e-mails. On the phone, one person tells you one thing, the next time you call; the next person tells you something else. Ridiculous!! Won't ever shop there again.

I ordered four iron-on patches for my kids' jackets. The patches weren't cheap: $6.50 a shot. The images on the website looked good quality and the patches were presented as having different shapes from one another.
I received four flimsy, cheaply made white polyester oval-shaped patches onto which different images had been printed. I'm not even going to try to iron them on because I suspect they couldn't hold up to heat. This was a real rip-off. I would not order from CafePress again.

I am a UK based customer and ordered 4 T-shirts as Christmas gifts from Cafe Press. The order arrived within stated timescale but one of the t-shirts was faulty so I requested a replacement. I was told another would be sent before Christmas but it didn't arrive.
Despite numerous emails requesting replacement and then refund I am still waiting for action from Cafe Press. They do send replies to emails but they are merely automated responses that don't answer the concern raised.
I have even asked for the matter to be recorded as an official complaint but again no response.
I will not use this company again and suggest others are cautious.

I am extremely disappointed in Cafe Press. I ordered a Tshirt on December 15 and was told I would have it by December 24th Christmas Eve. Not only did I NOT get it in time for Christmas but its now December 30, and I still have not received it. I tried tracking it with the tracking number they gave me and the only thing that comes up is a shipping label was printed. There is no tracking information. It will be interesting to see when and if I ever receive it. I know one thing I will NEVER order from them again.

I ordered two coffee mugs and two beer steins for Christmas presents. I received the box and only one coffee cup was wrapped in bubble wrap. The rest of the bubble wrap was at the top of the box. Of course the only item still in one piece was that coffee cup.
In addition, the printing was very faded on the coffee mugs, to where they were hardly legible. I wouldn't pay $16 for that. I took pictures; however the customer service said it was not necessary to email them.
I asked for a refund as they were Christmas presents and there is not time to have them reprinted before Christmas and they indicated that it would take 5-8 business days for a refund. Lovely.
I will not buy anything further from CafePress.

Placed an order for mugs on Dec 4 that was scheduled for delivery to my house between Dec 7 and Dec 10. Having not heard anything I sent an email from their website (no reply yet...) and called customer service. After 23 minutes of holding I got someone who told me that the order was on hold since they had to research the logo (which is custom, we created and is not trademarked). CafePress knew on Dec 4 they needed to investigate and simply did not bother to let me know via email or any other method - they let me believe everything was on schedule.
Customer service gave me another number where I left a message (I am sure I won't hear back anytime soon). Unfortunately for me these were a gift for employees and CafePress has waited long enough that I now have limited options. Don't trust them for anything important, customer service seems low on their priority list - probably my fault for trusting such a high volume company.

I order a Christmas ornament of two pug dogs. One light and the other black. After waiting a very long time for this item,it finally arrived. I was shocked after opening the package. It was a Christmas ornament of some kind of hunting dog, which I did not recognize. I immediately called the compant to complain. She would order another but would not arrive until Dec. 17, 2012. Too late to send for this Christmas. She did say to keep the wrong ornament. I said What am I suppose to do with this ornament,I don't even know what kind of dog it is. I ordered a miltary hoodie as a gift for xmas. It arrived very promptly however the quality was terrbile. It was a cheap hanes hoodies that had an iron on logo decal. They burned the fabric when they applied the applique, it is shiny and hard on the right side of the jacket.
I can't believe i paid 34.99 for a a 10.00 dollar jacket. I will never order anything from them again.

I ordered 2 volleyball patches for a total of $20. I almost fell over when I saw them, they are so cheap looking and ugly. It looks like somebody used a rubberstamp to put the logo on the patch. I will never order anything from this website again.

Charged $212.50 for an order that was suppose to be $37.38! I did enter the correct coupon code and my order/cart did state the amount I expected it to be. My shock to check my statement and see I was charged otherwise.

I never will use CafePress again, if I ever am able to complete the photobook projects on which I am working now. This is the first time I have used CafePress. (I got there via ImageKind, with which I have had only very good experiences, but which does not offer photobook production.) The website is glitchy and error prone, requiring closure of the site, relogging on plodding back to where you left off, and continuing until the next problem. It has taken far longer to complete the books I currently am compiling than it should have required. As I write this, I am stuck in the middle of trying to order the final three -- two have gone to the checkout, but one just keeps generating an unexplained error and freezes the page. And, it is not that CafePress is the less-expensive alternative -- using it is a youth hostel experience at four-star hotel prices. Find an alternative.

I placed two separate orders to be sent to two different addresses, they were customized t-shirts as gifts for a special occasion. Cafe Press says they shipped on October 2 and were supposed to be delivered by October 18. Neither order has arrived so far, a month later. After asking me several times to be patient Cafe Press quickly refunded both orders, but meanwhile, I had no gifts and thanks to Cafe Press, the event was ruined. I don't understand why they stubbornly keep using the services of USPS which is quite obviously a disaster...they "think" the parcels got lost in transit. Then why the heck don't they do something about it?
They offered me a 20% discount on my next purchase as a consolation...as if I was EVER going to buy from them again!
I'm convinced that with their "shipping without 24 hours" claim, they tell you the merchandise has been shipped even if it's probably still in production, or they haven't even started working on it. Avoid them at all costs!!!

Have ordered several items from this company on different occasions. Receiving the item does take longer than receiving things from other companies. I imagine this is because they are making your item especially for you. Recently I received a special T-shirt a week before my husband's birthday but there was a gluey sticky mess around the perimeter of the design. I politely emailed customer service. They told me they'd happily send me another one. I figured I'd have to give him the smeary one on his birthday (but tell him a new one was coming) and was surprised that just 2-3 days later i had a new shirt in time for his birthday! They must have stepped up shipping due to the error. Overall very pleased.

Best customer service I have EVER had! I ordered a shirt as a gift and called customer service just to ask what they thought the delivery date would be and they upgraded my shipping free of charge so I would be sure to have the shirt by the day I needed. Then, when I did receive the shirt it was not a tall size as I had ordered, they sent another in two days and told me to keep the wrong sized one because they didn't want me to have to hassle with shipping it back. I think Cafe Press is fantastic!

I have purchased items from cafepress.com on numerous occasions without significant incident. HOWEVER, I just searched for "PRO gay marriage" products and was inundated with negative, intolerant right wing rhetoric products mixed in with the affirming products I was shopping for. If you are pro gay or pro equal rights I would suggest taking your business elsewhere. Regardless of your personal views, no one should be subject to hateful messages during a business transaction.

Well, I'm baffled by these bad reviews. I ordered two T shirts from CafePress and they arrived promptly (within four or five days). Unfortunately, I needed a bigger size (this was my own fault, I should have ordered large, but I guess it was wishful thinking), so I dropped CafePress an email, expecting to have to pay the carriage to return them. As this was on a weekend, I was not expecting a great deal of movement, and sure enough, I received the obligatory automatic acknowledgement email. However, a real person got back to me via email later that day, and told me to keep the shirts - they would send out two more in the bigger size. I have bought other products from them in the past, and never had any issues, but they say the true test of any company is when you have a problem, and CafePress certainly came through for me. I'd buy from them again with no hesitation. I notice that some of the bad reviews are from The States; I don't know if the fact that I am in the UK, and dealing with the Prague outlet makes any difference?

We ordered 2 of the canvas prints and i have to say we were more than pleased! The pictures look awesome, the colors pop right off the canvas almost in 3D and I was really impressed at the packaging for shipping. They had it wrappe and strapped in to heavy duty cardboard and there was absolutely no damage at all. It did take a couple weeks, but besides that, if that Groupon ever comes up again, be sure w will be buying another one! I dont think i would pay the retail price for the canvas at $124, but for $40 it was awesome! Hope they do it again. If not at the Cafepress site they always have coupon codes for discounts; not nearly the one they had here, but they are usually pretty good. Besides this, we use Cafepress a few times a year for funny kid shirts for our kids and our friends new borns. Check that out, some cool stuff. Overall I would always recommend Cafepress for unique and fun gifts for others and yourself.

Not happy with the quality of the t-shirt I just bought. It is very, very light weight, almost sheer. For $27.00 I expected a quality shirt not the cheapest available. If that is your standard quality will look elsewhere for my shirts.
