I ordered tires from bike bandit and was charged more than double.  First, they charged my card the full amount, then added a hold for one of the tires on top of that.  Then, the charged my card for both tires two days later and left the hold on my account, effectively holding almost $500.  When I contacted customer service, they were little help, and could only send an email to billing, no way to talk to them since the don't have an extension.

As of today, I still have funds being held, two charges have actually posted to my account, and I have only received one of my tires.  The other is expected in two days. 

I will never do business with them again.

ordered parts express and because one didnt come in they didnt send anything.Grrr.I called customer serv.very smug(woman).Actually giggled at my dismay.I personally will never use them again.You can get the same  parts at old bike barn.

Poor service.  Twenty days now and my part has not arrived.  Customer service on line is pathetic.  Ho HUM attitude.  I'll pass on your concerns to management response.  I don't have my part and they don't care.  Go to your dealer, prices are not different.  They charge you for shipping, dealer gets tax.  Wash.

Had been a semi regular customer of bike bandit for several years.  Placed an order, as usual the shipping time was slow, but it's expected with them.  They sent an incorrect part.  I got back to them in a few days, and called someone a couple weeks later...life is busy!  I was told the wouldn't take anything back older than 15 days, despite the fact it was THEIR mistake.

um...seriously?  You don't want to retain customers?



So, in 2009, there clearly are some companies apparently doing so well they don't care about keeping long term customers.

I found this store to be quite competent for an online retailer. They kept in touch via email regarding my order. After receipt of the item, I decided it wasn't what I really wanted, so I returned it using the enclosed RMA label. No phone call was necessary, just ship it back. Of course, you have to pay for the shipping, but it couldn't get any easier. My credit card was credited for the sale amount within a day of receiving their email confirming receipt of the returned package. I've since bought more items from this store based solely on my initial purchase experience.

Statistics show that unhappy shoppers are far more likely to write a review than satisfied customers. There, I said it.Now you know.

I ordered a Teknic Chicane Motorcycle Racing suit from another company (ridegear.com) over a month ago. They took my money, and I still don't have anything. Crooks.

So, last week, I called bikebandit.com and spoke to a salesperson--yes, a real live english speaking person! They took my order and checked stock in the computer. According to the computer, there was only 1 in my size/color, so I was put on hold and someone personally went out and checked the inventory. At least that's what they said they were doing.

My suit went from California to Upstate NY for 7.95 shipping and it only took 5 days. It arrived today via Fedex just as the tracking site indicated.

I am totally impressed with this operation. I highly recommend it.
