AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL! I placed an order with Bass Pro for an item my dad who lives in another country asked me to get for him. I am leaving for the said country tomorrow (Monday), so I placed the order last Wed and paid for expedited delivery, and got a delivery date of Friday. Finally today (Sunday) I called to ask why the order wasn't delivered on the date they gave ,e as a delivery date. As it turns out the item was backordered, but their website didn-t say so at the time I placed my order. And no, thwy don't have inventoey tracking, so they don't know what items they actually have in stock. They also can't check to see what stores around you may have that item. They don't call those stores, you have to do it. All they can do is do you the favor of cancelling your order, and now I have to spend the better part of my packing day, shopping for a replacement gift. NEVER AGAIN, BASS PRO! It's Cabella's from now on for me.

Ordered several items at once, shipped to Canada.
One item listed as "In Stock" on website was actually not.
When order arrived item missing was listed on receipt as back ordered and "will ship at a later date".
Checked website often after that and item always listed as "in stock".
After 2 months called them and learned they do not do back orders for Canada.
My credit card was charged for the item and all I got as a refund was a gift card which is useless as I won't ever be shopping from them again.

Bought the Azul hat for my nephew, the hat's quality is excellent and they ship orders lightning fast! It also matched to the jacket I've bought also from them a month ago. Will recommend basspro to my friends. :)

I strongly suggest you never buy their brand name or lower priced bait casting reels ($50-70) I have truly wasted $200-300 on these thinking I would find a reel with value. No way. Last year, right out of the box the anti-reverse stopped working below 60 degrees on two of them. The year before that , the gears started grinding on the first day of use and the second lasted about 6 months. I did purchase a 7.1-1 Phlueger (sp) that has lasted 2 years but will not make it a third. The return policy is weak. Spend your money locally on these items. You probably won't pay anymore.

All 4 items i ordered showed in stock. A few days later I got an email that two were out of stock. A few days later I got mail saying one was not going to be reordered! I emailed to cancel the remaining item but was told there were no items left. 2 days later, the item I tried to cancel showed up on my doorstep. Pretty lousy order and tracking system.

Great merchendise and very very poor customer service....as I was buying in that store for many years it was ok...then I moved overseas...shipping charges were 40% of total price and other option 20 % was for me just not an option...why...becase they charged whatever they wanted...they have never complied with any messages which I left on purchase order, neither they took in consideration special instruction via chat service numerous times disregarding me like I don't exist...finally they just stole all the reward points off account...they didn't know how to damage me further...honestly...I don't have a guts or nerves to deal with people like that....

They have a method by which they calculate what kind of delivery they call "standard" in each particular case. My first order with Bass Pro Online included a few very small and light items, and the delivery charge they applied could cover Priority Mail twice. Despite that they sent the item by snail mail. It's been 10 days already, but the package didn't arrive yet. In addition to that, their choice of a carrier, USPS, doesn't even allow to track packages: you have a tracking number, but zero info about whereabouts of the package.
"You have to wait longer"- was all two different customer service reps told me. Apparently, delivering packages state-to-state takes longer than shipping them to Australia.:(
When I tried to tell them that they should review the shipping policy since waiting for two weeks is unacceptable (leave alone their choice of the least reliable and uncontrollable carrier), they said they had nobody to convey this feedback to.
Naturally, this was my first and the last attempt to buy anything from Bass Pro Online. Cabela's may be just a little more expensive, but they are fast and responsive to the customers needs.

I ordered a GPS/Sonar combo on June 23rd, as of today June 29 they still don't know if it's shipped or still sitting in warehouse!! My credit card was charged on Monday 25th for the order. They have offered to refund the shipping charges,and upgrade shipping to 2-day, but I was expecting delivery by July 4th. Second level customer service couldn't tell me at 4:30 cst today if it had shipped or gotten upgraded to 2-day... :( :( :(
Seems like they need to do better job with shipping and warehouse information. All I was told was that the warehouse was running behind.
This gives Cabela's a good foot in the door now will order from them next time.
Can't comment on order accuracy or delivery speed as I STILL don't have the order.
