I had a problem with the quality, delivery, and refund of my order.  I did not know when I placed an order, that local florists are not used.  Instead, orders are sent to some warehouse, and shipped by MAIL.  I tried to cancel 2 days in advance of delivery, upon discovering that my mother would be out of town.  I was told that the warehouse would not allow me to cancel.  The flowers were shipped to an empty house, and when my mother returned from her trip, she found dead flowers in her door.  I tried to receive a refund, was promised one, and 2 months later, had not been refunded.  I called customer service, explained the situation THREE times to three different people (I kept getting transferred to someone "with authority", and then was told I would need to speak to "Corporate".  I had to call long distance.  The refund process took almost NINETY minutes on the phone.  I will never order from 800-flowers again!

Horrible.  We ordered flowers for our grandmother's 95th birthday.  They did not deliver on the day they were supposed to-her actual birthday.  Customer service said that they were delivered however.  The next day I had to call them about 7 times and eventually they said they were delivered and signed for-THEY NEVER WERE!!!!  Then of course the florist was closed, and they said they would get back to me on the third day-THEY NEVER DID!!.  Eventually the flowers were delivered and left, unsigned for in the apartment LOBBY! Thankfully someone found them, since we specified that our grandmother is 95 and can't walk downstairs and needed them to actually walk up the stairs to her apartment.  WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible!! We received a bouquet from 1-800-Flowers for a resident who is 100 years old.  It was the worst, most pathetic & saddest looking bouquet I have ever seen. There were about 7 stems with no florets; the florets broke off of the stems and were tucked in the pot.  Was the florist too ignorant to think we weren’t going to catch that?  We were too embarrassed to deliver the bunch to our senior resident so we added what we had in our office to her bunch (red carnations & pinecones) being that it is close to the holidays. 
I am utterly surprised this company is still in business.

Customer service for Flowers.com is not only outsourced but very poor quality.  I am very disappointed in the entire process and will not use this service again for any purpose.

ordered 18roses and upon delivery they were already opened and died the next day.  i was upset but decided not to complain. i went with them again only because they gave me a coupon. i sent a mixed flower arrangment to someone else. upon arrival flowers were wilted and dropping! Also it looked NOTHING like advertised. seems that dead flowers seem to be acceptable and they have no standards. it has been 1 week since they promised to redeliver the flowers but no redelivery was made. i called customer service but keep getting excuse after excuse and each day they tell me "tomorrow it will be delivered" but it never comes. i am disgusted with them.

Fraudulent company. Do not order. Original order was screwed up. Apology email was send right away with scheduled time for redelivery that was never done.

DO NOT USE 1-800-FLOWERS!  We ordered casket flowers for my mother's funeral from 1-800-flowers.  The flowers DID NOT ARRIVE for the funeral. Afterwards contacted them and received profuse apologies and even a plant.  But the promised refund has not arrived.  Talk about adding insult to injury.  I'm just saying, I will NEVER use them again.

They basically promised same day delivery for my wife's birthday, and didnt get the order to the local florist.  No birthday flowers, and no apology.

Flowers were delivered on time, they were pretty.   The flowers were nothing like I ordered.  I ordered large arraingment and got very small.  They lasted 2 days.   I called company and they promised redelivery and a credit toward next order.  After contacting them 5 time I got credit of $20 and was promised $25 and a new order was never delivered.  Customer service is terrible.  I started emailing and they would answer my email with my email included in there in email and their response was like no one ever read the email they were answering.

Terrible service --- flowers delivered were all DEAD.  I was promised a refund and now 2 months later, after multiple calls, I still have not seen the refund.  Everytime I call I have to go over all the events again, even though I was given a case number - they never seem to find it. 
VERY frustrating!
 I will never do business with them again.

I ordered flowers to be delivered for my Grandmothers 92nd birthday.  I received a confirmation email stating that she received her flowers.  They were never delivered!  When I called flowers.com they appoligized, offered to take 50% off the cost, and would deliver them next morning.  I called the next morining, they spoke to the florist who said that they left them under her front awening.  My grandmother does not have an awening, also they said that they called the number provided several times with no answer.  That was a lie, I left my number to call and they never called.  Who leaves flowersw out on a 95 degree day????  I asked flowers.com to give me the name of the florist so that I could speak with them directly to ensure delivery of my grandmothers flowers, and they refused to give that out because they protect their subcontracters.  What about their customers????  Never again!!!!  Are you kidding me!  I'm floored! Still working on getting my money back!  I will be reporting them to the BBB!

I placed a order on Wed to be deliveryed the same day to a funeral, they charged 14.99 for delivery it.
So, on Wed.. night I recived a email saying: We appologize for the inconvenience, but unfortunately we were not able to delivery your order on the date requested, so the funeral service was going to be next day, and I would not have time to order flowers from another site, then I asked them if was possible to delivery the flowers next day before 10;00am, they sent me a email saying the delivery was going to be done as requested, then, at 1;00 pm, I checked the track and still no delivery done, so I sent them a email and cancel may order, because at this time, se funeral service was done.
So, horrible service and they are not reliable to delivery on time.

1800 Flowers is 0 for 2 with my family the last month and a half.  I ordered flowers for my mother after surgery and it took days to track them down and finally get them redelivered.  Got a $25 voucher for days of trying to get a status on deliver for days.  Using the voucher a month later was another failure.  Got another voucher for failure to deliver on the day promised and was not told about the failure again. That is two strikes....I'm sure that using the 2nd voucher will be questionable.  I'm not going to use it for anything I want delivered on a specific special ocassion day.

WOW!  Wish I would have read the reviews first before ordering flowers.  I ordered them online, got a confirmation email, but they never arrived!

This company is run by thieves who will charge your credit card and never deliver your flowers and apologetically refund your money only after you have caught them. Don't order from them unless you want your loved ones to think you don't care about them and you have time to call up customer service and ask for a refund.

I bought a present for my girlfriend (40$ including transportation) which should be sent to my girlfriend and delivered one day before christmas. I payed with my credit card.

It just did'nt arrive there and I did not hear anything from them. I contacted them about one month later and they told me it couldn't be shipped as they didn't have the item in stock any more.

Furthermore I will get cash back plus a gift coupon and I should wait about one month. After waiting another month I contacted them and they told me the same again so I ended up with no delivered item and a loss of 40$.

I ordered a floral arrangement for my god son being born to my best friend and her husband. IT NEVER GOT DELIVERED. The bouquet I chose was $75 and said was available for the SAME day delivery, when I called to find out where the bouquet was, the representative told me that the arrangement I chose wasn't available, which was NOT what the site told me. The representative also told me that someone (either me or the recipient) was called, a voicemail was left, and an email was sent (to me) stating that the arrangement wasn't available, which I NEVER RECEIVED EITHER VOICEMAIL OR EMAIL regarding my purchased arrangement. Then, I asked to speak with a manager because the representative wasn't helping me, she just continued to repeat herself. She transfered me, but NOT TO A MANAGER, I went back into the original calling queue I was in when I FIRST called their customer service number. They had me on hold for 30+ minutes to "try" to resolve an issue. DON'T BUY FLOWERS FROM THIS DELIVERY SERVICE.

Absolutely awful! I ordered flowers for my grandma 2 weeks prior to Mother's Day that were to be delivered on Saturday. It is Tuesday night and they still have not arrived! I have called numerous times to find out the status and have been promised each night that they would be delivered the following morning. They offered me a $25 gift certificate for my next purchase to make up for the inconvenience... as if I will ever order from them again! I would never EVER recommend anyone to use this company. For a $35 delivery fee, I would expect it to arrive on time! Do yourself a favor and find a new company!!!!!

1-800 Flowers was aweful, rude, and they only care abou the money!


My mother is in her 70's and I wanted to send flowers, since I only have so many of these opportunities left.  I spoke to her early Sunday (Mothers day), but didn't mention the flowers, since I wanted it to be a surprise.  On Tuesday morning I asked her about the flowers, and she said she never received any.  I called 1-800 flowers and I wasted another 20 minutes on top of the 15-20 minutes spent ordering.  They didn't appear to want to give my money back, but wanted to go ahead and send the flowers out.  Also, if I had not called they would have just kept the money.  I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS with 1-800 flowers AGAIN!!!  They don't deserve to be in business!

My daughter saved her money, placed the order on her own 05/08/12 & I never received her gift 05/11/12. She called to check status on Friday & was told I had to stay at work til 7:00pm.  I get off work at 5:00. At time of order, she informed them it was being delivered to a place of business and needed by 5. She was never told it could take up til 7pm to be received.  But I waited til 7:10pm because she was told it was on its way & she wanted to make sure I received my Mothers Day gift, but I waited for nothing. Tracking shows that the gift was never even shipped.  I will be placing complaints wherever I can find to share this experience.

Very unprofessional! I trusted them to deliver flowers to my mother on Mother's Day. I din't recieve any communication, so I called them to ask what was going on with my order? They said that florist didn't confirm the order. Why are they even sitting there if they are not following up on the status of their customers orders???NOT RELIABLE! Very dissapointed! I wish I would just find local florist like last year.

I ordered flowers for my mother on the morning of Friday, May 11th 2012. According to 1800Flowers.com, they have flower arrangements that can be delivered same day. I called 1800flowers and they confirmed that the arrangement that I chose would be delivered on Friday. They called my back hours later saying there was high volume, and they would not be able to deliver it until Saturday. I said this was okay, since Mother's Day is Sunday. They never delivered the flowers. Nor, did they call anyone or email anyone to let them know that they are going to fail. When I called 1800Flowers on Sunday, I was transferred between two service reps. They both offer a $20 reimbursement and to deliver the flowers on Tuesday. I decline and asked to talk to a Manager. Both of the service reps told me that the manager wasn't in the office. I guess 1800flowers doesn't hold their managers to normal standards. I will never us 1800Flowers again.
