Worst Online Shopping Experience Ever!
I've had the worst experience ordering from them on two occasions. The first time I ordered a facial exfoliant that was listed on their website as in stock and ready to ship. A week after I placed the order, I still had not received any package nor was I sent an email from Spalook.com to update me of the status of the order. After several emails to the company, I finally received a response from them saying that the item I had ordered (a Phytomer face toner) was out of stock, and was on back order from the supplier. They could not give me an estimated ship date so I cancelled the order. Then several months later, Spalook.com sent me a $10 gift certificate (not including shipping), so I decided to give them another try. Again, I ordered 2 items from their website that were listed as in stock and ready to ship, but guess what? Several weeks went by and I hadn't heard anything so I emailed them to ask about the status of the order. Would you believe that both items were out of stock and on backorder from the supplier. So, a month and a half later, I received one product from my order, and was overcharged for shipping, and this was supposed to be a gift certificate order. I guess I'll receive the second half of my order sometime in the next six months. And of course no one from spalook.com has notified me of the estimated ship date. It's absolutely insane. I've never experienced such terrible customer service from any online purchase. Please avoid Spalook.com if you can. There are many other health and beauty skincare websites that offer the same products with much better service. What a stressful experience shopping!!!
