I ordered a gift subscription 'Bucknuts mag' from MagsOn the Net/Yahoo store...Dec. 24, 2007 It is now 6 months and the recipient has not received it...Only contact point seems to be e-mail..which I have done now four times...No Response!!! I presume I have been scammed and have lost $42.95...for I have contacted the publisher and was informed they have never heard of MagsOn The Net Also that they only do business from their own website and use no third party. I will contact my cc...but am sure it will be in vain...I have definately learned to distrust everyone now..even tho. I have had good results with other honest business sites.

I ordered 3 years of Consumer Reports through this company. Three months later I got my first issue, however the label only showed 1 year. After emailing their customer service 3 times with no response, I called them and they said it'll take 30 more days for the other two years to show up. I've waited not nearly 6 months and still the label says 1 year. Now when you call the number you get voice mail saying to go to their website and send an email. But they won't answer that either. I turned them over to the BBB. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

DON'T DO IT. PLEASE! Now that I've screamed I feel better. I lost my $38.95 on a subscription I'm never going to receive. What's really hilarious is that the phone number that shows up on my checking account is disconnected. What does that say?
I ordered a magazine on 8/31/07 and the payment came out of my checking account on 9/4/07. I have never seen my magazine. When I tried to call the number on my checking account I get a standard phone message telling me the number has been disconnected. I have written to them threatening to sue them and they never answer.
However, I get tons of email from them asking me for my business, giving me coupons, etc. What I don't get is my mag.
I don't understand why, with all the complaints on here, nothing has been done except complaining. Any suggestions on what to do about this would be appreciated.
They have a nice web site but....SCAM! Again, DON'T DO IT!

Majority Rules !!! I agree. I ordered in June and it's October and I haven't received anything. I get the default email response that someone will be contacting me and no one has. I wish I'd seen the reviews at first. These guys must be making a crap load of money from all of us. They're probably on vacation with our cash when we call.

Time passed and after few mails to customer service asking for information regarding my order ( never answered) I received 2 mags from one of the subscriptions and then received no more.

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from these people. I placed my order in February - - they charged my credit card and that was the last I've heard from them. I've sent them four e-mails requesting resolution and have never had a response. I'm going to follow up with the California attorney general's office to see what legal action can be taken. These people are obviously less than honest.

Stay away from this company. They used to be reliable but now the magazines do not get delivered. I called the magazine directly 14 weeks after I paid MagsOnTheNet and the have never received the subscription request. Many emails, phone calls and faxes go unanswered. Check out yahoo opinions and the New York BBB for more reviews on how bad this company is.

Have used this site before and always had a positive experience. However, 04/2007 that changed. Ordered a package deal of 2 years of TIME that included 2 free magazines, DISCOVER and LATINA. My TIME subscription was only renewed for 1 year, I did receive DISCOVER, but never LATINA. Emailed with no response. Called customer service twice and was forwarded to a voice mailbox that was full. I called my credit card and disputed the amount to get my money back.

Last December I ordered NASCAR Illustrated for my son-in-law. To date, he never received his magazine.
I have e-mailed, faxed, and made phone calls. When I called I was transferred several times and sent to a voice mail box - that was full. Today I was told no one was in the office as it was a holiday. They are nothing but crooks. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau in New York as well as the Attorney General.
I have not heard one thing from the AG. I assume they think it is too small an issue to address. Is there not some sort of class action that can be taken against these people!!! I was willing to settle for a refund - is that too much to ask?
Addendum: I have just contacted the FTC and filed a complaint. It was really easy to fill out the form right on line. Also called the Attorney General's office again and they are sending me a form to fill out to file a formal complaint. I will not take this lying down!

I wish I had read these reviews about magsonthenet before placing an order. I have contacted and filed a complaint with the BBB of NY. They have to give the company 6 weeks to respond, so I'm waiting for that time to go by. I'll get my money back from my credit card company. I'm going to do everything I can to make this company go out of business...whatever that may be. I placed an order in September 2006 for a renewal of J-14 for my daughter. My credit card was quickly charged. After waiting more than the twelve weeks requested, I sent MagsOntheNet an email 1/3/07. Did not hear back from them so sent another email on 1/17/07. That same day they asked for additional information which I provided on 1/18/07. That same day they sent a message telling me to wait for the January issue and it would show the renewal date. By 2/14/07 I had received a February issue (the last one) and there was still no renewal date. On 2/14/07 I contacted J-14 and they said that they had received a renewal request but the bill had never been paid. On 2/14/07 I sent MagsOnTheNet another email copying the email from J-14 and I have yet to hear from them. I will never order from them again.

This company is HORRIBLE!! Placed an order on 10/08/06 to renew my husband's CCM magazine. 8 weeks later, I still had not received any magazines, so I e-mailed and NO REPLY. I e-mailed weekly for about 3 weeks now and still NO REPLY! I finally looked up a toll free number on their web site and called. The message states they are not handling customer service issues "due to the holiday season" WHAT???!!!!! The recording instructs me to e-mail any questions or concerns...duh...haven't I been TRYING to do that!! It did say that if I wanted to place a new order, I could stay on the line, so I did, hoping to speak to a LIVE person. I got connected to a voicemailbox, but got a message stating the mailbox was FULL!! I was instructed to press a number for customer service and finally did get a voicemail for someone named Theresa - I left a message, but I am assuming I will not hear anything. I am now going to contact the publisher and see if, in fact my order was processed. I am not expecting too much. What an AWFUL experience!!

I purchased a two year subscription in October 2005. The first year came, but the second year order was not placed. I called and emailed their customer service, no response. I went after them through the BBB and through National Community Service (who they use to place the orders) and was told November 11 that Magsonthenet had placed the renewal order. Well, hasn't happened yet, according to the magazine's customer service. I've asked Magsonthenet for the actual date and account number confirmation for this alleged renewal. They just send me emails saying "the problem has been fixed. You should get your magazine soon."

Agreed. Magsonthenet is a scam. I bought a one year(52 issue) gift subscription of People magazine for my fiance. She got the first few issues and then the subscription abruptly stopped. Tried to follow up with Magsonthenet by dutifully filling out their online form, and sending emails over the last few months. Try their phone number and you'll hear a message that they are not taking messages right now.
I finally called the publisher of People Magazine to find that my name was nowhere in the system and that the gift subscription was ordered under another name and the balance never paid. If Magsonthenet were at all legit my details would have been on the account instead of some bogus name attached to a phony credit card. People Magazine confirmed they do not have a relationship with Magsonthenet. Very very shady.
I wish I had checked this site before I had placed my order with MagsontheNet. However if you too have fallen victim to Magsonthenet don't fret your credit card company should be able to sort it out for you. Dispute the charge and get your money back!
