I just started using Ebay a few weeks ago and so far I haven't had any issues with the site. In my opinion the hassle of bidding for something isn't worth it unless the item is significantly cheaper than retail price, which is not always the case. Ebay does offer a “Buy it Now” service on select items for people like me who don’t enjoy bidding on every item they are interested in purchasing. However, the prices on the items for “Buy it Now” are usually higher than what you would end up paying if you were to win the auction bidding. I would be mindful that although sellers upload pictures on Ebay giving bidders the opportunity to see the condition of the item, those pictures could simply be stock photos taken off line. So you really don't know what you will end up with. Also, before I bid on anything I always check the seller feedback percentage. If their feedback percentage is below 80%, I would not consider them a trusted seller. The website is very user friendly and easy to navigate. One thing that I really don’t like about Ebay is that you are required to have a paypal account. In essence beware of scams and be a smart bidder.
