Ebay is a scam took me two weeks to realize it!
I thought it was awesome in the beginning when I started purchasing things from sellers. Never had a problem. Until and international purchased that came along my path. I definitely did read the policy in EBay and the EBay buyer protection. Understood every single thing on it.
Now I still don't understand why EBay prefers to loose customers rather than get rid of the unprofessional fraud sellers? Now I am not saying all sellers are like that, but so far I dealt with 4 unprofessional sellers they did get resolve except for one. I will tell you the details why it did not get ressolved with that particular seller..... EBay is a company that is concerned about "Making Money" This is why they are still up because they protect themselves to the full extent. Now they say they will return all your money and pay for shipping this is the first description when you click on the beginning part. So in order to know about the details you have to literally click on the "whole" summary. If you do not read it you will be screwed like I was.
I bought an item from Japan and this lady false advertised/contradicts her items. I have emails from her saying other wise have proof and Ebay refuse to pay for the shipping. I understand that it is written and it clearly states it in the buyes protection, but not what I was told from a manager/supersvisor. So you mean to sya because they are not trained properly and are given false information over the phone that I should suffer there mistakes? I don't think so! EBay will tell you all this great things how they will refund you and send you shipping and all this great stuff, but there is more to it. Have to read "VERY CAREFULLY" Now shipping will be paid for only the first time you paid for the item amount. Lets say you get an item as not described, well guess what be careful because if it is international you are screwed and you might as well eat the item. EBay will not cover it unless you send it back then they will refund it with the original shipping that at the time could have been 5.00-10.00 depending what expedited you choose. Remember that is is different shipping price when yo uare shipping it back. Well guess what to ship it back it is the same cost as what you bought the item for at times! That shipping which is about 70.00 here in United States to ship back for, that amount comes from your pocket they will not refund that back! In order for you to get your "full" refund you have to pay for that expensive shipping internationally which honestly to me it is not worth it. So I practically ate the shipping and kept the item because it was not worth it to me. I realized later that I should have click on all the summary to find out it is hard to belive all this... There has to be strings attached! EBay covers themselves in any way possible.
All I know is I understand the part in where you should read everything not just the part that sounded awesome there is More to it sounding so simple and easy. Took me a week to realize that until I got screwed because I did not read the whole briefing. Now the part I disagree with is this part....
I talked to a Manager by the name of Calip, supposedly this supervisor/Manager was an outsource he told me he would refund half or get the seller to pay for shipping. For me to "not" send out the item back until I receive an email from him or someone that everything was ressolved. I go into my email 3 days later and notice an email saying I have till a certain time to return the item or case will be close. So you can imagine what happened I argues talked to about 4 mangers and two supervisors and nothing got resolved basically that the Manager did not give me proper information and I am screwed again. So the only option I was given was to send the item back to seller. Not worth sending.
In other words all this is to let you people know before you decide to do business with EBay think about twice! EBay is ahead of the game, two steps ahead of you, already has all solutions covered and this is why this people still have there jobs ad sit behind this chairs and phones because they know how to lie! They don't want to loose money so they will try every possible way to protect themselves! Took me two weeks to figure that out!
All because they have sellers that commit fraud and know how to manipulate the system! They rather loose customers than having a fraud person working for there company, realized that Ebay customer service obviously acknowledge that because the representatives are the same way! I am not upset and like people say because it was my mistake yes I should have read all the summary and the buyer protection but I was told otherwise from a Manager and I dod have emails from this lady and she is commiting fraud yet she still stands with Ebay. Becare wtih some of this sellers! Sometimes it is not like what is described.
Perfect example I bought a wig from ebay 8 days before Halloween and it was not as described it was a remake with fake tags! Yet she/he is still up selling fake things.
Good Luck who ever wants to complaint and decides to buy something over 100.00
I share this experience it is honest and I would hate for someone else to go through this. I am not rich I am not low class! I am middle/upper class, but money does not grow on trees! We let this people get away they will just keep doing it to others!
I heard ther is a new developer like Ebay that will bring down the stats of Ebay the new websire will be coming up soon with there own site hundred times better! Can wait to see that! Hope Ebay looses all there customers!
See what happens Ebay developers when you have crooks and unprofessional consultings and unprofessional managers that don't know how to follow the policys working behind the desk?? You get crapped on!
