I have been looking for a knife block to hold my 10" Shun Ken Onion chef's knife. I thought I had found a good one at Cutlery And More, but I wanted to be sure that the 10" knife would fit before I placed the order.
A month later, after multiple queries, I still have received no answer. I even emailed Michael Beltrami directly (the website is registered to him), and still received no response.
I ended up getting a knife block at Williams-Sonoma, who let me test the fit before purchasing. I definitely won't be bothering with Cutlery and More again - they obviously didn't want my business, and I'm happy to accomodate them by shopping elsewhere.

Very Dissapointed

I ordered a set of ceramic Kyocera knives for Christmas and they showed in stock at the time of purchase.  Well when the package showed up it only had the extra gifts that were offered with the order.  I dont understand how you can offer a guarantee that if it shows in stock that they guarantee that it is and will ship.  Because when the merchandise showed up this morning it had the main 3 pcs missing for the Kyocera knife set.  Oh yeah been trying to get a hold of them all day long with no response to email and when I called the 800 number they had already closed and it was only 12:30 in the afternoon.  So long story short dont recommend this web site for shopping for the simple fact of the misleading tactics that they use on the site.

I find it interesting to find negative reviews from this vendor. I ordered Wusthof Steak knives from cutlery and more and had quick notice in my email that my order was being processed. It was to my door within the shipping period stated for free delivery and everything was there and in good condition. I have no reason not to shop here again, the prices beat anything I could find locally.

I ordered a whetstone for my knife, while shipped timely it was poorly packaged and arrived with a brken stone.  I immediately emailed customer service, it has been several days and I have not had any response.  I am going to call today - so far "customer service" after the sale is non existant and the packing job was horrible.

I placed my order for the 14 piece set of Emerilware on December 26th at around 10:30 p.m. I had immediate order confirmation in my e-mail in the morning. The item shipped (free shipping) on the 27th in the afternoon and arrived on my doorstep at NOON on the 28th. All items were just as advertised and arrived in great shape! I am very pleased!

I ordered a six piece Wusthof classic cutlery set. The knives I received were damaged. The bread knife had a large burr on the end of it. The Cutting board gift had been chipped and glued back together. I contacted cutlery and more about the bread knife, and they told they would send a replacement. The replacement I received which was directly from Wusthof was a used knife. Although it seems I have had a better experience with customer service than others, Wusthof themselves screwed me over. I contacted Wusthof, and they told me to send back the knives. I then discovered my shears include in my set were also defected. I contacted Wusthof again. This time they sent the replacement without me shipping back the original defective shears. Well I am most disappointed with my experience with cutlery and more. This set of knives was suppose to be a great addition to my kitchen instead its been nothing but a headache. I wished I would have just returned the set to cutlery and more and bought something locally.

I ordered a 3-knife Wusthof set from this vendor. I shopped around, and their price was considerably lower than anywhere else. In addition to the knives, I got free shipping, and a free steel, sharpener, and knife block. My order arrived quickly, and the merchandise is top quality.

I purchased a set of Wusthof Knives at CutleryAndMore.com and had a great experience. I placed the order online and later that day I received an e-mail with the UPS tracking information. The free delivery took only 2 days to reach my house. They also had the best price around, and threw in a free knife sharpener and a free cutting board too. A+!

I ordered a pepper mill from CutleryAndMore.com, paid almost $20 (!) to get 3 days delivery to make sure I get it before Christmas. I did - then found out what I got was the very obvious defect that it had a chip which looks like it has been glued back together! I called customer service, which I had to dig in the website to find the number (like everyone else is complaining). Customer service experience was horrible. She basically said it is a problem with the manufacture, CutleryAndMore.com receives hundreds of order everyday so they cannot verify the manufacture defects before shipping the product. She is saying they do NOT guarantee the quality of products they sell.

I placed an on-line order for a Kershaw Shun knife. After placing the order, I decided that I really wanted a different Kershaw Shun knife. With only minor difficulty I found the 1-800 customer service number and called it. The person answering was polite and professional and changed my order as requested. Two days later I received the item I wanted.

Based on this good experience I was surprised to see so many negative reviews of this on-line merchant.

Perfect transaction. On-line prices subject to and contingent upon people who are upto on-line shopping. One should not expect hand holding published tele number CS, and best price - it's about keeping overhead in place. We received spot-on email communication, quick delivery, and best price. I order a John Boos work table. It took two months to get delivered and arrived from the manufacturer damaged. I have spent the past month trying to get the packages returned. Still no resolution. By the way, this table cost $700. I am now contacting legal counsel.

I cannot believe the company hides a phone number. I shopped here in the past and got decent delivery time. I just made a huge mistake on my order and who do I call? I wrote the company but who knows how many E-mails they get when they don't have a phone. Ugh, what an unnecessary frustration. I would never deal with them again.

I bought a Calphalon Roasting Pan from the cutlery and more website. When the item arrived, the roasting rack was broken. It was impossible to find a direct phone number to contact customer service. I sent an e-mail as directed but never heard anything. I finally tracked down a phone number via whois.com . The guy I spoke to told me a replacement part would be sent - several weeks have passed and nothing ..if shopping from cutlery and more just hope you don't have a problem with your order...

Cutlery andMore does not post a phone number to contact them. They only provide one e-mail address to write to. I have been attempting to replace the two broken lids that came with my order. I have gone through Christmas dinner and other events with only one lid to my entire set. No one calls me or returns my written requests to replace the broken lids. The box was delivered damaged.

I recently bought the Holiday Tree Bundt Pan through this company the Saturday before Christmas after missing the chance to purchase it at our local store and it not only arrived as stated in the e-mail confirmation for Dec.23rd, it was also $16.00 less than the identical item in the store. I have already used it to make 3 cakes which we decorated with an airbrushed & frosting bags to actually look like Christmas Trees, and were the hit of the party. I am in the in the process of adding to our baking tools and supplies and I plan to use Cutlery & More as a trusted resource.

Argghhh. Do not use this online company if you expect any level of service. I ordered a Swissmar Raclette grill which was damaged by UPS. UPS picked it up, sent it back to Cutlery and More, and stated that I would have to deal with C&M to get replacement sent. Well after one month and no email response, I still do not have my product, which of course I paid for two months ago. I will now dispute the charge with my credit card company, never do business again with them.

DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! We purchased a $1k John Boos butcher block table through these people in January of 2005. It arrived via Yellow Freight after 3 weeks in the poorest, most irresponsible job of packaging we've ever seen, and very damaged. We filed a damage claim with Yellow, they forwarded it to CutleryAndMore, and then on to John Boos. A replacement arrived via Yellow Freight the beginning of August, again damaged in transit. We refused delivery, and asked for our money back. The original damaged table still sits in our kitchen, unusable and in the way. Although "Jerry" the customer service rep at CutleryAndMore said it would be removed, we are still having to move around the useless table. Now "Jerry" wants us to accept a 3rd replacement (who knows how long before it is built?), and it will be delivered by, you guessed it, Yellow Freight! Now we understand from "Jerry" that neither Boos nor Yellow will take responsibility and give us back our money. This is the poorest experience we've had through buying on-line.

This is my 3rd order in a week from Cutlery and More, and it has become one of my favorite online stores. The website is well designed and easy to navigate. They carry top line products with most items "in stock" for immediate shipment. Prices are also very competitive and the customer service is superb.

I ordered several Wusthof Knife Sets that were received within 48 hours after ordering. Free shipping, available discount codes and free bonus items are just gravy on the top.

I strongly recommend anyone check out Cutlery and More for all your kitchen needs.

The website looks great and the prices are reasonable once you add in the cost of shipping etc.

But what a disappointing experience.

They are terrible at customer service. They do not respond to emails. Luckily the order I placed never went through.

They state that they will send you a shipping quote but never do. They state that they will respond to emails in a couple of days but never do. They state that they will return your voicemail on the following business day but never do.

I have had many successful online store experiences and this is the first bad experience.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MERCHANT
