Zappos.com is a great website, that I have had a lot of luck with. True, I could go to brick and mortar stores, but I like ordering from a source that I trust on the Internet. I get to save on hiking and running shoes, which I go through with extraordinary speed. This is not all distance or terrain related, but due to a strange gait, flat feet, and overall just plain bad luck. While sometimes you can find deals at outlet types of malls, if you close to one, its often much easier just to hop on the net. From the convenience of home, especially if you know your size(that varies with brands for whatever reason), and what you are looking for you are fine. Often, what I do is look at a shoe in the store, try them on, and then order them from here.
